This game looks awesome, but it seems to be in development hell. The official website sells pre-orders but there's no indication of a possible release date.
What about the semi-recent trend of releasing incomplete games, and paying on installments for what should have been there in the first place. It's called unbridled capitalist greed!
Anyone else waiting for a 50% off the current price for a year subscription of PS Now? The service has a brutal video delay and a mostly redundant list of games, but for 30 Dollars a year, many folks would be enticed to join in.
An amazing audio experience but no one thought about writing down the basic sound specifications, to decide if it's worth investing in these headphones over many other in the market...
A sign a good faith by Sony would be to enable upgrades for people buying the PS4 digital versions of last generation games (Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us 2, etc) to a digital PS5 improved version. Otherwise, I'd rather wait for Ghost of Tsushima and Call of Duty 2020 being released on the new platforms and not pay double for the same game.
Hello. Could someone please tell me why there is a better bargain in the UK and not in the American Main PS4 platform? A year for only £39.85 British Pounds ($49 US Dollars) in the UK and they are charging $59.99 US Dollars plus taxes in the US? WHAT???
What about eliminating the need to have an American credit card for the subscription services? Some of us prefer to use individual American gift card top-ups to avoid being squeezed by foreign tyrannical tax regimes, and the PS Now service requires a permanent card on the system for automatic renewals. Just a thought before the PS5 arrives next year...
Regardless of this being the game of the year or not, DL2 seems like a well-crafted game and fun as well. And for me, having Troy Baker in the voice department would be an absolute plus, because the guy is really passionate about his work and a fabulous performer. I'll give this game a try.
I've got the perfect patch for everybody... Eliminate the co-op gameplay, or even better... Create a different character than the daughters for the entire game!
Is it just me, or this kind of reminds me of Death Stranding? At least, it gives a few hints about possible gameplay options in the upcoming Kojima game
I have it since day one, and it has been a hell of a ride. The open world is huge but easy reachable with the availability of fast vehicles. The shooting is wonderful and the story has plenty of fun details that will keep you hooked up. You won't regret playing it
"Sony's console is getting pretty old"... Yeah, right out of the blue that the PS5 is coming, PS4 seems obsolete for paid reviewers. What matters is that a game looks pretty good and fun on any platform, and people won't be running to new consoles just for graphics alone but game quality.
Probably Google will opt for fully downloadable games to avoid internet lag. Yoshida might be right, but that doesn't mean that there is no urgent need to redesign their PSNow and PlayStation Plus platforms.
It is a pity Sony only makes PS4s (and surely PS 5) compatible with the worst headphones of their company (Gold Headset) with mediocre sound specs and not even Bluetooth compatibility with other devices such as mobiles.
@manu0 If BC is only for PS4, it will be a total waste of time, since most players upgrading to the new PS5, will keep their PS4s. Any Bluetooth headphones compatibility and a mobile module like the Switch, could be great though.
What a sour apple you are! Come on. If you're going to give such a half-backed review, at least don't be extremely judgmental. Rage 2 looks really entertaining and well made.
Could anyone please comment about the lack of bargains on the PSN USA store in the last months? I love your online magazine and usually a couple of days after the EU sale announcement, the same type of deal will arrive on the US website, but not anymore...
It looks fun and it is not too politically correct. Predictable in some ways... maybe, but what game isn't? It is fast-paced, the music is cool, the world is long and there are plenty of enemies. I will buy it for sure and will recommend it to anyone I know.
Great debate. Now, I propose: Should all modern games be Ideological Propaganda or oriented to Social Justice Warriors? Can we as customers, demand fun and games that deal with current affairs without so much cultural and political baggage?
I would love to see PS3's Kane and Lynch on that list. Anyway, it looks like the PlayStation Store is doing too little still before the streaming storm announced by Stadia.
I hope she won't be in the game in any capacity. CP2077 is supposed to be about alternative universes, subverting commercialism, decay and isolation, not pop-culture banalities or following burnout trends. I have to say that it would make me less interested in all the hype surrounding the game.
@RawnDawn I sure as hell hope not. Sony, since you are so concerned about young people's morals, why don't you implement an age-verification protocol and stop fuxxing around with Us, responsible, credit card carrying adults?
Hopefully, one of these updates will give us full Bluetooth headphones compatibility, instead of forcing us to use the most average Sony Gold headset. This insular attitude doesn't happen to such extremes with Iphone.
@suikoden Thank you very much. It looks like TLOU is also PS3 quality, so I better just wait for a bargain and get the remastered version on PS4. PSNow should upload ONLY the best available versions... They haven't hooked me up yet. Have a nice day.
People, could you please help me with a small doubt about PSNow? If Battlefield 4 or The Last of Us are uploaded in the PSNow system, would they have the best graphic version of the game or would it be PS3 quality?
I wish I heard this advice, before I spent my money and endless hours of boring game time: Red Dead Redemption 2 is overrated. The game is really clunky, slow and monotonous. Basically, is 95% horse riding and cutscenes. GTA V has way better story than this.
How thoughtful of Sony to think of the Children... It is a pity that they don't do anything to discourage consumerist behavior with those damn microtransanctions, teen-oriented aggressive marketing campaigns, historical distortion, and so on and so on. Creators should have the freedom to craft their artistic visions, and that's the reason why there are ratings printed on every box or digital brochure. You get more exposure to sex and violence on the news at noon.

A couple of average ones, because it looks like everything is being ported to PS5

Oh man, I didn't think that the "2077" stood for the release date...
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer Most Likely Coming 2022
This looks like a forced delay. They are trying to push people towards the new console that is coming this Christmas.

Totally right. You could buy a cheap Bluetooth transmitter and plug any professional wireless headphones.

Re: Poll: What Are Your Thoughts on the PS5, Now That More Details Have Been Revealed?
How quickly I'd want to put my hands on one, depends on game quality and a reduction of games-as-services approach
