Earlier this month, Sony kicked off the Spring Sale on the European PlayStation Store. Featuring hundreds of titles big and small, it's another monster promotion, but it's just been taken up a notch. Even more games are now included, as the platform holder has announced on PlayStation Blog.
Some of the additions include big, pretty recent releases. Battlefield V and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 have had their prices cut in half, while some of 2019's bigger titles, like DiRT Rally 2.0 and The Division 2, are discounted too. It's not all massive names, though -- the likes of Subnautica, Trials Rising, and Unravel Two also enter the fray. See the full list of new discounts through here.
The Spring Sale is set to continue through to 1st May. Have you picked anything up from this offer, or are you saving your pennies for something else? Let us know in the comments below.

Are Vita games included?
@KingdomHeartsFan Aww, I only have like 3 games since they’re all so expensive. You’d think that games would be cheap since it’s basically a dead console but it’s basically the opposite.
I just got the Assassins creed origins season pass for 12 pounds. I've been waiting to get those final trophies for so long.
Argh, enough Sony. I've already used up my Hard drive space and internal memory on the Pro!
Gonna need to upgrade really soon.
Said this when this deal was first posted it's a pretty dreadful sale. Most seem to.have only 20% or less off!
Man I've been waiting for a Subnautica sale but I'm in North America. Where's our spring sale? I'm hoping it'll be this Friday.
Battlefront II is tempting for 8 quid for the single player alone.
The Unravel bundle too for a tenner.
@KALofKRYPTON Exactly what I was thinking. Pretty much the only two games in the whole sale to have a decent-ish reduction. Maybe Watch_Dogs 2 for £7.99 as well maybe isn't too bad?
I can't remember if it was this sale or the previous one but I got Agents of Mayhem for £3.99 and Just Cause 3 for £4.99 which are both cheaper than a pint down the pub, so I'm happy with that!
@tomassi WD2 for that is pretty good.
Mostly interested in Unravel. My daughter and I really enjoyed the demo. Just had a scout around and I can get Unravel Two for her Switch for £20 from Argos of all places!
@nessisonett Vita games are regularly on sale. For some reason they have largely only included ps one classics this time around, but dont fear, they do go on sale and will again. My advice as always is every other wednesday, always check https://psprices.com/region-gb/index then filter by your region and set the platform to vita. If there are particular games you want you can also set up email alerts to notify you when they come on sale.
Bear in mind you may need to purchase through the webstore or playstation app. The vita store is not the best at updating prices or making clear a sale is on.
Waiting for a discount on Thronebreaker
@sketchturner You got God of War for $25 though which is about £19, I've been waiting patiently for ages for it to hit even £25 to purchase. Very Jealous!
@MinerWilly Yeah, US always get the best prices eh. It's reduced on the EU store down to £33!!! How is that fair?!
@KALofKRYPTON Yeah I've played the first Unravel and my kids (5 and 3 at the time I think) loved the art style, although the game itself was too tricky for them. My son is now 7 (and into Fortnite!) so I may try to play it co-op with him. We also loved SWBF back in the day, so may give SWBF2 a go at that price.
nothing in my wishlist is on sale with the added stuff, i'm kinda relived lol
Other than Spider-Man and Red Dead Redemption 2, there's not much on my wishlist on sale. The discounts on those two aren't that great either, so I won't get anything this sale. The previous March sale was much better for me personally.
I just bought Subnautica a few days ago...ffs 😡
Am tempted to get Battlefront 2 for £8, but the whole furore over it’s micro transactions at launch still put me off. It would feel like I’m selling my soul to the devil 👿
@Boldfoxrd i literally had the Season Pass in my checkout last night after giving up on it being on sale...good job I cancelled at the last minute!
@KingdomHeartsFan They need to do this for PS3 games too; especially the PS1 & PS2 Classics. I would buy a load in a heartbeat.
@tomassi @KALofKRYPTON I foolishly got Battlefront 2 at launch but the game is so much better now. If they had released the game the way it is now it could have been huge. I would recommend it for £8 and you can earn everything you want in game without giving EA any extra money.
Could anyone please comment about the lack of bargains on the PSN USA store in the last months? I love your online magazine and usually a couple of days after the EU sale announcement, the same type of deal will arrive on the US website, but not anymore...
I know PS3 is old now but they could slash the prices for so many more games in the store, yeah it's got price drops but there not very good and some games are not good either. I've been waiting on a lot of dlc to come down in price like Dead Space 3 Severed, Assassin's creed revelations The Lost Legacy but they never do. They once did the whole bundle for revelations for £12 but I couldn't buy it at the time they've never done it again.
Sony should slash prices on Vita as well yes they don't do the console but they still could sell games and give back to the people that bought it.
@BearsEatBeets I only play offline, does it have all heroes on there in arcade mode, or do they come and go (meaning I've missed a load of decent ones already)? I kind of just want the game to play offline splitscreen with my son, with all characters and maps to choose from against AI bots. If that's possible, I'm all in for £7.99!!
@tomassi In that case I wouldn’t like to say it’s definitely worth it. It’s been quite a long time since I touched the offline part of the game. The arcade mode had most of the heroes but they were tied to certain maps if I remember correctly. I couldn’t say for definite if it will be what you’re looking for offline, I could only recommend the online play.
