Can you feel that? Those tremors in the ground? That's the ominous approach of frugal shoppers stampeding to stores for Black Friday. It's coming, everyone, and nothing can stop it. We may as well just ride the storm. Of course, playing its part in the swirling vortex of bargains and elbows in the ribs will be Sony, as it aims to push PlayStation hard this holiday season.
Over on the PlayStation Blog, the platform holder's Black Friday and Cyber Monday plans have been outlined, and we're already looking at some excellent deals for North America. A 1TB PS4 console with The Last of Us Remastered, God of War, and Horizon: Zero Dawn for $199.99? That's one heck of a bundle. Sony has also slashed a hundred bucks off the PS4 Pro, bringing it down to $299.99.
PSVR once again enjoys some top notch bargains too. A new mega pack includes the headset and the camera as well as Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Skyrim VR, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Everybody’s Golf VR, and PlayStation VR Worlds -- all for just $199.99.
There will also be savings on many PS4 exclusive games, as well as the PlayStation Hits collection. Accessories like DualShock 4 controllers and PS Gold headsets will also be significantly reduced, while 12 months of PS Plus will be 25 per cent off.
Check out the PlayStation Blog for more info. We expect all of these deals and lots more besides to appear on Amazon and other retailers when the time comes, so keep your eyes peeled. Sony's deals will be active between 24th November and 2nd December in the US. Will you be shopping for PlayStation bargains this Black Friday? Spend, spend, spend in the comments below.
