I play games lying on my bed, what now Sony?

That really depends. If it is a good open world I prefer that but sadly most open world games don't actually take proper use of their open world. Most of the time it just feels like running of a checklist

As someone who loves to explore optional stuff in games it's a shame but I guess if the main story itself has more than enough to explore it's not too bad

If only Nintendo would do that with their NSO games...

I played both MH World and Rise and while they are good they didn't really catch me. Therefore I obviously don't need a clone either

Haven't played it yet myself but watched a few streams and from what I've seen I'd say the atmosphere is pretty amazing, everything feels so alive and there are so much details put everywhere. Cutscenes are also done pretty well, for example when getting the wand

As a game though it seems very basic, characters look like robots during dialogs, same puzzles copy&pasted everywhere etc.

So far it seems like a 7/10 to me but that might change when I actually play it for myself

It certainly did bother me but Horizon Forbidden West was even worse in that regard

@TripleKing333 One time in HFW I was entering a new room in a cauldron and before I've even properly entered the room Aloy already said "I can use the glider to get to the other side". The game didn't even give me one second to think lol

There are more than enough games currently like FE Engage, Octopath Traveler 2, Nintendo shadow dropping Metroid Prime Remastered didn't help either.
Will probably buy it in a sale some day

I see "State of Play" in the thumbnail and think "Oh cool" and then I read "Rumor"...

I mean if they deal ends up not happening Microsoft could in theory offer (part of) that money for exclusivity deals. Seem to happen quite regulary in gaming anyway.
Don't know if Sony could fight such a deal as well though

The best thing about Sonys PC ports is that you finally can play those games on a handheld (Steam Deck) since sadly Sony chose to ignore their own last handheld

I'd love to see Stellar Blade. Definitely the third party game I look forward to the most beside FF16

I know many don't like them but I'd like to see a remaster of the FF13 trilogy

I was really looking forward to it since GoW 2018 is imo the best PS4 first party game but I have given up on GoWR after about 4h.
Atreus constantly told me "Do this, do that" "You go the wrong way" etc. As someone who loves to look around, explore and especially think on my own it really ruined something that would most likely be an amazing game

Yes, completet it and defeated every unique boss.
Also it was my first From Software game since I heard it's more accessable than the other games thanks to it's open world

Definitely plan to check out the other Soulsborne games and Sekiro some time

Elden Ring was the first truly great open world game since BotW imo

@Uncharted2007 Was it ever confirmed for 2023? As far as I remember the announcement trailer said "Next Winter" which would go from December 2023 - March 2024

Out of all games I played on PS this year (and released this year) I'd rank it 3rd. First would be Elden Ring and second AI: The Somnius Files 2

@DiggleDog Reminds me of when Atlus/Sega brought Persona 5 Strikers, a direct sequel to Persona 5, to Switch and PC long before they brought P5R to those plattforms

Just finished it about an hour ago, while it certainly has some problems (render distance, sometimes a bit clunky, mandatory pinball bullsh*t, bit of lack of QoL) I still had a ton of fun with this game. I'd give it a 8/10 but with a view fixed it could definitely be a 9/10

I hope two of those mods are "fast travel at any time" and "fast pick up loot". Those two make the game even more enjoyable, alongside "unlimited inventory" but I'm not sure if they include that on lol, maybe as an option
