Because more people buy PS because there are more exclusive games (although not a much as there used to) and therefore more dev priorise the console that sells more
Releasing one of if not the biggest flop ever, making the PS5 Pro way to expensive and selling disc drive + stand seperately, adding ads to the UI and all that in about one month
Not trying to justify the PSN requirement since it's stupid but it has been known for a while that it requires PSN + you can only review games you own on Steam.
That means people bought this game even though they could and should have known that it requires PSN just to complain about it
I love how characters like Yagami or Majima just 'conveniently' end up in the very same location as the last game.
Like Yagami has a case in Ijincho after Yakuza 7 and Majima ends up in Hawaii after Infinite Wealth
But jokes aside, it's a good way to put out high quality games in a fast pace, especially since the locations matter less than the characters and side quest
Finally, as someone who loves puzzles in video games those hints (which sometimes they give you after just a few seconds) sadly really ruined the game for me
Kinda surprising that it took them almost two years to implement this but I guess better later than never
I guess the biggest problem is that they try to hard to appeal to the western market that it ended up not appealing to the japanese market anymore which made up a big amout of sales
"The products are clearly displayed in the stores where you buy software, so it’s an intuitive experience."
Weird, I remember that it was difficult for me to figure out how to upgrade my PS4 copy of CP2077 (or was it TW3?) to the PS5 version because it wasn't intuitive at all
Wasnt there a COD game that came on a disc that had like 100MB of data on the disc which meant the buyer had to download basically the entire game + had to put the disc in when they want to play it
@IamJT Yeah, that's something I don't understand how executives seemingly overlook that fact.
E.g. "Let's make a game that is just like Fortnite" why would someone who already plays Fortnite play another game that is just like Fortnite? They'll just continue to play Fortnite. And someone who doesn't already play Fortnite won't play a game that is like Fortnite either
Reading that headline made me realize how out of touch I've become with gaming over the past few years
Wukong became the most successful singleplayer launch on Steam ever and I've still no clue what this game is about nor have I even seen a second of gameplay. Same happened with that scam game "The Day Before" which was one of the most wishlisted games ever and yet the first time I've heard about it was after it released and eyeryone made fun of it how bad it is
I always wonder why someone who doesn't already play the game would buy such a bundle. Same with those Fortnite or Apex Legends bundle
Like what does "Outfit Option Bundle" mean to someone who doesn't play the game.
And someone who already plays the game would probably not buy it either (unless they are a hardcore fan) cause those things included in the bundle are barely anything
@TheArt Wuthering Waves only released 11/2 months ago, so it should be quite easy to catch up compared to for example genshin which is almost 4 years old

Re: Anticipated PS5 RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Attracts All-Star Cast
One of my most anticipated games for next year
The scenery, combat and story look really promising so far
Re: Trails through Daybreak 2 Adds to an Insane February Release Schedule on PS5
That means I have 4 months to finish the first game then
Played it for about 20h but then pushed it back for new releases like Echoes of Wisdom or now Metaphor Refantazio
Re: Metaphor: ReFantazio Immediately Tops 1 Million Sales at Launch
Thats honestly amazing, especially for a JRPG
Sadly I dont have time today to play it but I took next week off so I've more than enough time
Re: Microsoft Is Investigating Why Devs Are Prioritising PS5 Over Xbox
Because more people buy PS because there are more exclusive games (although not a much as there used to) and therefore more dev priorise the console that sells more
Investigation done. Your welcome, Microsoft

Man, what is happening with Sony?
Re: Scalpers Want $10k to Try to Buy You a 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro
Sony: "Write that down, write that down"

Re: Rumour: Concord Cost $400 Million, Sony Believed It Was the 'Future of PlayStation'
It certainly did shape "The Future of Playstation" just not in the way they had hoped
Re: Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Might Be the Series' Most Insane Game Yet, Sailing to PS5, PS4 in February

Looking forward to this

Re: God of War Ragnarok's PC Launch Trailer Reminds You It's a Classic
@AverageGamer Same could be said about HFW, that game also was on PS4 but seemingly doesnt run very well on SD whereas HZD seemingly does
Re: God of War Ragnarok's PC Launch Trailer Reminds You It's a Classic
Curious to see how well it runs on Steam Deck or Rog Ally. GoW 2018 ran really well on Steam Deck
Re: Horizon Zero Dawn's PS5, PC Remaster Is Very Much the Real Deal
@Flaming_Kaiser Most of my responses are jokes, my friend
Re: PS5 Exclusives Final Fantasy 16, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Failed to Meet Expectations
I guess the biggest problem is that they try to hard to appeal to the western market that it ended up not appealing to the japanese market anymore which made up a big amout of sales
Re: Horizon Zero Dawn's PS5, PC Remaster Is Very Much the Real Deal
I hope Sony remasters Astro Bot soon, I really want to play it but the game is already 12 days old. I don't want to play such an outdated game
Re: Final Fantasy 16 Is F**cked and PS5's New Firmware Is to Blame
Sony promoting the PC port of FF16 by messing up the PS5 version
Re: Yoshi-P Pleads for Modder Restraint Ahead of Final Fantasy 16 PC Launch
I mean for some people mods like that are big reason tho purchase the game so shouldn't he want such mods to exist?
Re: Sony Boss Says 'PCs Are Difficult to Set Up', Firm Will Focus on PS5

Re: Biker Babes and Minigames Front PS5 Favourite Zenless Zone Zero's New Update
@rjejr It's a live service game, it probably still takes years til they completely cover Fairys backstory
Re: This May Be the Most Pointless Boxed PS5 Game Ever
Wasnt there a COD game that came on a disc that had like 100MB of data on the disc which meant the buyer had to download basically the entire game + had to put the disc in when they want to play it
Imo that even more pointless
Re: Lack of Competition from Xbox Partly Why PS5 Pro Is $700, Says Analyst
@GamingFan4Lyf Yeah, fanboys who want to see Xbox fail don't realize that they won't benefit from it if Sony has no competition
Re: PS5 Pro Pre-Orders Will Be Exclusive to PS Direct for Two Weeks
When we said we want more exclusives this isn't what we meant
Re: Poll: Are You Sold on PS5 Pro?
Nah, the base PS5 is fine enough for me + the price of 800€ (or over 900€ with disc drive) is just insane
Just buy a PC at that point, all first party games release there anyway sooner or later
Re: PS5 Pro Announced, Costs $700 and Out in November
700$ and it doesn't even have a disc drive?
Thankfully I'm happy with the performance of the base PS5 lol
Re: PS5 Pro Showcase Set for Tomorrow, Hosted by Mark Cerny
The PS4 Pro Pro Pro
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Astro Bot?
Sure, I always appreciate a good 3D plattformer
Re: Astro Bot (PS5) - One of the Greatest PlayStation Platformers of All Time
94 on Metacritic based on 74 reviews. I honestly did not expect that but I'm really happy to see that

@IamJT Yeah, that's something I don't understand how executives seemingly overlook that fact.

Re: How Long Does It Take to Find a Match in Concord on PS5, PC?
There are more articles about this game on this site than there are active players
Re: Crash Bandicoot 5 Reportedly Cut in Favour of More Live Service Games
And yet there are people who are confused as to why others are happy to see live service games like Concord or Suicide Squad fail
Re: Concord Probably Best Played on PC, According to Official Features Trailer
I'm not a big mouse + keyboard guy but I think every (multiplayer) shooter is best played on PC because of that. I just can't aim with a controller
Re: Black Myth: Wukong Becomes Steam's Biggest Ever Single Player Launch
@riceNpea But even then, there still obviously was a ton of hype behind this game which went completely past me
Guess I just don't spent that much time in forums etc anymore than I used too (which probably is a good thing)

Re: Never Has a Game Looked So Good Yet So Jank as PS5's Neo Berlin 2087
God, those botox lips lol
Re: Square Enix Has Got Fans Talking About a Final Fantasy 13 Remake, Not a Remaster
I played FF13 about 2 years ago on PC at 4K60fps. That game doesn't need a remake, it still looks very good
Unless they completely change up the linear design of the game
Re: GTA 6 Won't Be on Subs Like PS Plus at Launch Because Take-Two Makes 'Rational' Decisions
No one who's right in their mind would have expected that anyway
Also I don't think all Take-Twos decision are rational lol
Re: God of War Ragnarok PC System Requirements Revealed Ahead of September Launch
@Sequel Nope, otherwise it wouldn't have bothered me
I mean if they made them optional that would have been totally fine but sadly they didn't
Re: God of War Ragnarok PC System Requirements Revealed Ahead of September Launch
If someone makes a mod that removes those spoiler voicelines etc I'd be happy to give this game another try
Re: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PS5 Sales Still a Secret as Square Enix Reports Year-on-Year Decline
I wonder when the will announce the inevitable PC port, as far as I know the PS5 exclusivity only lasted til end of May
Re: Queen's Blood Confirmed for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Sequel, CCG to Be Expanded
I usually never care about card games within games (I didnt even care about Gwent in TW3) but I really liked Queens Blood so thats good to hear
Re: Randy Pitchford Says Fans Will Be 'Very, Very Happy' with Next Borderlands Game
One day I'd love to see a dev say "Yeah, fans are really going to hate that one"
Re: Gacha Spinoff Persona 5: The Phantom X Coming to Console, with More on the Way
@Yousef- Isn't it the 6th?
P5, P5 Royal, P5 Strikers, P5 Dancing, P5 Tactica and P5X
Unless you count P5 and P5R as one game
Or 7th if we include PQ2 which also features the P5 cast
Re: Poll: What Are Your Summer Gaming Habits?
In summer (or generally when it's warm outside) I'm playing games on a handheld in the garden lying on a lounge chair in the shadow
Otherwise I'm inside playing on console/pc
Re: Wuthering Waves Officially Confirmed for PS5
Happy that more people will be able to experience this game. It's a great game (gacha aside) with fun combat and great exploration
Re: Rumour: Tales of Xillia Remaster for PS5, PS4 Possibly Leaked
I literally just installed both Xillia games yesterday on my Steam Deck on an emulator so ofc this leak surfaces now
Guess I can just wait for the official rerelease then (if this is true)
Re: Free-to-Play Phenomenon Genshin Impact Gets Its Own PS5 Console Bundle in Japan

Re: Neverness to Everness Makes GTA an Anime Open World on PS5
Seems like a great game to play during winter on your mobile phone cause it would turn it into a good hand warmer

Re: Random: You've Been Pronouncing Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree's 'Scadutree' Wrong
I haven't pronounced it at all cause I haven't played the DLC yet
