Re: Horizon Forbidden West's PS5 Burning Shores DLC No Longer Treats You Like an Idiot

@Northern_munkey Because games constantly telling you what (I need) to do is something that really bothers therefore it annoys me to read stuff like "they just love to complain instead of enjoying the game" when in reality I really wanted to like GoWR just like I like GoW2018

I just generally dislike it when someone dismisses critisms of others as "they just love to complain"

@Northern_munkey There's have an opinion and then there's dismissing others opinion and claim that they just love to complain. Yours is the later

If you just would have said "I personally wasn't bothered by it" no one would have complained but for some reason you felt the need to add "but then those spending more time picking faults rather than enjoying themselves would have nothing to complain about"

@Northern_munkey Sorry but that's very ignorant of you. Just because you aren't bothered by it doesn't mean others aren't. And it especially isn't because those people bothered by it are looking for something to complain, I for example was really bothered by it that much that I stopped playing it and believe me I was really looking forward to it. GOW 2018 is probably my favorite first party exclusive on PS4 therefore I really have no reason to look for something to complain about the sequel

"picking faults rather than enjoying themselves" The problem is that my enjoyment from video games comes from exploring by myself, solving problems by myself and playing it at the pace/way I want to play it. Therefore constantly getting told "That's not the right way" when I want to look around for a bit for loot and getting solutions to puzzles spoiled (sometimes before I even see the puzzle) ruins that enjoyment for me

Re: Final Fantasy 16 Is Flying Up Sales Charts After Stellar State of Play Show

@bindiana Actually it does (kinda) matter if you pre-order it months before or not. Many shops will have you pay the lowest price they were offering the game for since you pre-ordered. Let's say you pre-order it 3 months before release for 60$, then they drop the price 2 months before release to 55$ and then raise it again to 60$ 1 months before release. You only have to pay 55$ then, if you only pre-order it 1 week before release you would have to pay 60$

I got Pokemon Sword and Astral Chain for 44€ each for example instead of 60€

@Gamer83 Yeah, I didn't like HFW either and yes I assume all those samey feeling open world games might be partially at fault. If HFW released in 2018 or something I might have liked it but after playing games like HZD, AC: Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla, Ghost of Tsushima etc I've grown tired of them.
Couple that with other problems of HFW like Aloy constantly talking/telling me what to do, the dialogs etc and it really didn't make a good game to me

Re: Final Fantasy 16 Will Look Stunning at 60fps on PS5

mariomaster96

QTEs wouldn't be that bad if the different controllers woulnd't all have different button layouts. Try pressing the X-Button quickly when you are used to play with a Nintendo-, PS and XBox-Controllers lol

Anyway, definitely 60fps for me. 1440p still looks amazing (especially when you are used to play on Switch)

Re: Talking Point: Is 2024 Too Soon for PS5 Pro?

mariomaster96

On one side the PS5 will be 4 years old when the PS5 Pro is seemingly supposed to launch which would be a good time to release a Pro model but on the other side it feels like they don't even use the full potential of the base PS5 yet (since there are still so many cross gen games) so I don't really see the point of a Pro model
