While in development maybe it'd be better to just use place order artwork they have the rights to instead of Gen AI slop. I think that's how it used to be back in the day. Maybe that'd be easier to find and replace too.

Replacing AI voices with real humans after a game is released feels like a reaction to negative feedback. Just do it right the first time please.

It doesn't make a lick of sense. The PlayStation and Switch are incredibly popular platforms. If you have the means, release your games on both.

I'm not sure how much I really care about this, unless the company is in financial trouble. How does a company like SEGA decide if a game sold well or not? Is it based on how much the game costs to make and market? Are they just setting an internal goal and not meeting it? Maybe their expectations are too high and they're disappointed? I've heard this about other companies.

I prefer physical for games and other media, when it's available and not limited / $$. There is a space for digital too. In the end we are enjoying the same stuff, aren't we? It's just a choice.

Not going to sell all my PlayStation games but hope this closure isn't the start of something bad. After seeing all the reactions, I can't begin to imagine the response if a bigger PS Studio was shuddered.

I enjoy getting trophies but an older game not having them won't stop me from playing it either way. Would it be better if they didn't release it at all?

Really not shocked. Look at the WB movie, TV and animation catalog. It's a way bigger deal IMO with classic IP all around. Really hope Netflix doesn't lock this all behind streaming, especially media that still hasn't been brought to home video. Maybe not the same thing, but worth mentioning that Netflix rarely lets an exclusive show out of streaming jail. Look at their exclusive anime properties. Can't think of one western blu-ray release.

Holy crap this is nuts. Video games are one thing but the movies and TV IPs is huge. Not a fan of this at all. So now Netflix owns all WB owns, DC, HBO, Warner Bros Archive, the classic cartoons from Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Hanna Barbara, etc. Might have to kiss all future home media releases good bye. How can "they" allow this?

@FinneasGH Same here. And at first I was confused with 2 racing games published by THQ with Wreck in the name. But obviously they are not related and are different devs.

I haven't played Trails in the Sky, but if part 3 completed the story, WTH would they skip it's remake now?

I already have the PS4 version so probably will skip it and wait for an older game.

Even 2027 seems too early for a PS6. Some gamers are still on PS4 and the PS5 has plenty of life left in the tank. Why do we need a new console every 7 years?

At this point it should be free to play games and save online. But I think we should have to pay for other perks. Then let people decide if they need them. I don't play online games but enjoy said perks. Others are the opposite.

2027 feels way too soon despite the pattern of previous releases. Unless the PS6 plays all generations of PlayStation games I am in no hurry at all.

I think the Re-imagined graphics and characters look great. They still look like the work of Akira Toriyama.

I remember looking at gaming mags in the summer of 1995. Should I get the Saturn or wait a couple months for the PS1? I preordered Sony's first console from Toys R Us. The PS1 got me back into gaming after I graduated high school. I love it. My PS5 grey controller just arrived today. I want a set of PS1 themed shells for the PS5 badly.

Hope the game does well enough so parts 2 and 3 get the same treatment. Would be weird otherwise.

This seems to put the focus on prospective PS5 console purchasers affecting the games sales. What about everyone that already owns a PS5? There are a lot of them already.

I love animal companions in games so this trust mechanic sounds awesome. I'll be freeing every wolf I find. Maybe we'll get to see a wolf pack in combat along side Atsu.

It does suck, but not having an upgrade option seems to be more common these days. If the price for the trilogy is around $60, that's a good deal for newcomers like me. Wish it wasn't digital only, but that's also becoming more common.

Congrats MS. Per the story, 5 of those games would have come out on PS5 already had you not bought their publishers. But I guess take a bow.

@nicc83 They didn't have white onions, because of the war. The only thing you could get were those big yellow ones.

Absolutely. Yotei looks amazing in so many ways. I only wish there was a less expensive special edition option, something around $120 or so.
