The standard will probably be fine for me although I wish it had an instruction manual. I miss those things.

I recently traded my PS4 in for a PS5 when there was a special deal directly from Sony. I got a new PS5 Slim with drive and Spidey 2 code for $300. If not for this deal I would have probably kept waiting, but I am glad I did it.

If people want to stay on PS4 longer big woop. I wonder what the news reports and comments would be if Sony and publishers made more of the current PS4/PS5 games PS5 only. Probably not too happy.

I know it's a pipe dream, but I would like to see any of the good but expensive PS2 games available. Shadow Hearts, Haunting Ground, Steambot Chronicles, Wild Arms Alter Code F, etc.

Should be interesting with all the changes to the NCAA and college football. It's been almost 10 years since the last one. Hopefully it's a good game for people that want to play it. But then again it's EA and I assume they have exclusive rights like they have with Madden?

@Atreus97 Right, most of us are not investors and don't care. We're not in an era where a games company like Sony can go belly up and you're stuck with a console and no new games.

An Assassin's Creed in historical Japan is cool. Surprised there are two playable characters though. I wonder if you will be forced to play as both or can you choose? I will probably prefer to be the Shinobi most of the time.

Sorry I can't help but be cynical anytime someone uses the "I'm a huge fan" phrases when trying to instill confidence. Doesn't mean it will be good or bad, but who knows if they are truthful.

Please no, especially for the mainline games. The games need time to cook and that has worked thus far. When a Persona 6 teaser drops fans will be hyped.

AI could be used to help developers, reduce the likelihood of crunch or being over worked. But obviously it wouldn't end there with who is in charge at these big companies.

I'm most interested in AC Red. Black Flag remake makes sense. Otherwise I think they could be overdoing AC.

I get it if you want to see another game in a first party franchise, like Sly Cooper or something, but first vs third party, good games are good games.

What? You just never know about these exclusives, do you? We still have no Dragon Quest Treasures or Rune Factory 5 on PS5.

Love the anime and will be watching this game's release closely. Would love to spend more time in the world via a console game. I like that it's not another fighting game too. The town building and other game play aspects sound intriguing. With the release this close I assume there will be no English dub but that's okay.

I don't mind paying for DLC that's worth it to me, and sometimes a Season Pass can be more affordable than buying each DLC by itself. But we are talking about a full price pre-order right now and this news sucks. I'm usually very late and the game's been out for a while.

Single player games are where it's at for me so I like this article. There's always a risk of failure with any game, especially if they have a huge budget. I assume making a Live Service game is even more risky. For every successful Live Service game, how many fail miserably?

That seems pretty high indeed. I've bought season passes before but they were always after the game was released. I compared the price to buying the DLC separately and in my case the content was cheaper already due to the age of the games. I know that is not the norm for everyone.

Good for them. It can't be easy to win gamers back. After issues at launch, so many gamers move on and never look back. Revisiting games after they're patched can turn out good.

Baldo The Guardian Owls is another, albeit smaller, example. They patched the game considerably and released new content for free. Now it's great.

Hands down most excited to learn more about AC Red.

@Melee_Ace I think there is merit in your feelings here. I personally would like a basic Mega Man Legends remaster / port collection. The PS1 / N4 games are pricey and could use a boost in look.

I wish we could fix it by telling rich companies/people not to be greedy. But they won't stop. Hopefully there are some big changes coming that shake up the industry as a whole.

Not going to read all the comments, there are 126. I agree this information should have been included or more obvious to people previewing the game. The fact micro transactions exist in DD2 is not that big a deal to me personally, I just ignore them. But I do understand the issues with them.

Didn't they announce a Genshin Impact anime in 2023? I hope it's still coming. Maybe they'll make a Honkai anime too.

I might try it if there is a demo, but it's really not my kind of game. Hopefully it comes to PlayStation though.
