I never found time for the PS3 version and want this. But patiently waiting for it drop to $20 or so.

It will sell but I'm not buying until a deep discount. Average gamers / consumers won't know or probably care it's just a port. Rockstar is never going to mention "port" in their marketing. If it WAS a remaster or remake they would say that. Greed sucks.

The game is looking pretty good. Not at all surprised by the quality of the opening anime as some Fate series have the best animation in the industry.

Hoping we get Fate/Samurai Remnant "the Animation" series too.

This would make it much more accessible than booting up my PS3. But $50 is too much for a remaster let alone a straight "port". Will wait for a deep discount.

I really want to get into Fate. This might do the trick.

This is on the extreme end of ridiculous announcement windows. I prefer when a game in announced and then releases within 1 year. Sadly with leaks that is not often possible anymore.

There are certainly exceptions, but it does seem like so many games based on anime are fighting games, or at least heavily favoring that genre. It does make sense that fans would want to pit their favorite overpowered MC against each other. Maybe anime fighting games are cheaper to make than an RPG?

PS1 all the way. It was my first PlayStation console and my re-entry into games after not really playing them throughout high school. Plus it's a great sound. I wish there was a theme for PS4/PS5 that mimicked the PS1.
