The PS2 will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the only time I ever stood in line to buy a game console, waiting overnight at my local Best Buy on launch day.

It's very easy to bash Sony after the fact for this. Demon Souls was brutally difficult for the time. They created a whole new genre of video games. How would Sony have known the impact at the time?

Welcome news to me. There were a lot of dark action games during the last streaming event. Nothing wrong with them, but variety is a good thing.

This looks really good. Stood out to me among some games that felt very similar in look.

Darwin's Paradox, Sonic, Lost Soul Aside, Shinobi, Onimusha Way of the Sword. Some of the other games look and feel so alike. And not one RPG.

We don't even have a trailer or even a teaser. How can we predict a release date? Hopefully we get some footage soon.

That was pretty dumb Gamestop and didn't help you. Gamers that prefer physical games, used or new, have many other online or retail options besides your stores.

Doesn't anyone want to see Heavy Rain turned into a comedy? A detective falling down during a chase scene in a grocery store. Another guy shouting "Shaun" over and over again.

I'm sure this has been said many times before me, but the games sell the system, not the other way around. Provided the hardware is good of course. Innovative hardware can help but it's not the only reason for success.

@McBurn Yeah. There is no mention in this article about how this will be available in Japan. It's just compared to Atlus and Persona. If there is more detail on how it will be available, they should have included it in the article.

Was hoping it would be out sooner but at least we know more now. Hoping we get an update on Lunar soon.
