Publisher WB Games and developer TT Games have officially announced LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, an expansive new game in the series, coming to PS5 in 2026.

Much like LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga before it, Legacy of the Dark Knight is a much larger 3D action platformer that spans a wide spectrum of material from the franchise's long history.
That includes many of the movies, but it seems it'll also have nods to the comics, TV shows, and games.

Featuring a new combat system and an open world to explore, this looks like the ultimate realisation of TT Games' take on the caped crusader.
To be honest, we were in as soon as we heard Bane speak; it's Matt Berry!

I am excited about this one. From what I can tell combat is like Arkham games which is the best combat mechanic ever!
I hope rumoured Harry Potter Collection in the vein of Skywalker Saga and this comes to fruition in the future too.

Said as much elsewhere, but yeah, the DC LEGO Villains game was a better Suicide Squad so makes sense this would be a decent alternative to an Arkham game.

Loving this aside from the VA for Batman, truly the worst version I’ve ever heard in any medium.
Matt Berry as Bane quickly makes up for it though!

That and reworked in 'interesting ways' and not more 'empty ones' despite how decent it was at times.
I'm well up for this one. They need to slap a gruff filter on the Bats' voice though.

Sweet! I'm totally in on this. Movies 4-5 don't hold a candle to 1-3, but I'd love another Indiana Jones LEGO game too.

It seems to be based around the Dark Knight trilogy which is my personal favourite Batman film trilogy so will be a day one for me, gameplay looks great for it too

Think they’ll probably share more about the game as the year goes on.
So far it looks really good.
The Dark Knight trilogy are my favourite Batman films so it’s an easy day one for me
