I have a 4TB usb storage added and i still have to occasionally play with memory management. I’d be all over a 2TB Pro!! Black Friday???

I’m glad Sony is looking at this. While understanding the complexity of the PS3 for BC, I always felt that the PS4 should’ve been made to play psone and ps2 discs right out of the box. My fat 60G PS3 being able to play psone and 2 discs enabled me to unhook my ps2 and psone systems and create some much needed space! Needless to say, if we’re able to download our digital PS4 purchases on ps5, that would also be awesome! So here’s hoping ps5 when it arrives, is VERY backwards compatible as far back as it is technically possible!!

Like the switch and Xbox, the most important omission to me aside from lacking another game or two, is the lack of a retail release! At $29.99 I would’ve had no issue at all!! Worthy of my game shelves!!

Wow that’s amazing that Dead rising 4 didn’t sell!! I absolutely had a blast with that game and DR3!! Chopping up those zombies was soooo satisfying!! Even bought the PS4 version!! What the hell?? Oh What a shame! Good luck to those folks! I guess the franchise dies too! 🤢

Wow that sucks! I would purposely avoid Gamestop to get my 20% off. It will no longer matter now! Good thing my renewal is in the early stages so I’ll take advantage while it lasts!!

Understanding that PS3 is very difficult to emulate, I always felt that the PS4 right outta the box should have been able to run the ps2 & ps1 disc libraries!! No excuses!! IMO!

I do download quite a few games but mostly ones that you can’t get in the stores otherwise physical first and forever!!!

Well that’s a damn shame because I had an absolute blast with Dead Rising 3 & 4!! Sooo much fun!!

@GravyThief haven’t been in the PS3 store in quite some time but they used to have the ps1/ps2 games in their own category under “classics” at one time. I’m sure they’re still there but you may have to go to “all games” and scroll way way down the list until you start to come across them!!! Ugh!!

@GravyThief one of the most annoying things of the functionality of the ps store is just like now, they have 600 items on sale so as you scroll down the selections you find a game you wanna add to cart then you do and guess what? When you pick either “continue shopping” or just back button it back to those same sale selections, it puts you all the way back to the top of the selections!! 😡 very annoying!!

Psone disc support really should been in there from day one imo! And I really thought the Pro would rectify that! Nope! Sony killed the whole backwards compatibility feature we all knew and loved with PS4! While we all know PS3 is tough to emulate, there was no excuse for the lack of psone and ps2 disc compatibly from the get go!! I love my PS4 people but the Switch is just very impressive in many ways. From the library for year one to the portable capabilities to the heap of classics it already has. A far cry from the Wii U days for sure!

I for one hated the timer in the previous games. Best thing they could’ve done was remove it so you can explore with freedom. I’m having an absolute blast with this game. Loads of fun for all us zombie slayers!! 👍

My son without my permission, subscribed to Apple Music for $10 a month! I immediately called Apple and cancelled it. I download a ton of music but I want to purchase at my own pace and I want to OWN my music. Why should I pay $10 a month if I don’t need to buy anything for say 2-3 months?? Also don’t subscribe to Playstation Now nor Xbox game pass. Only thing I subscribe to is Netflix and amazon prime. Don’t have the space for 400 DVD’s anymore. Rather collect retail games! Sorry EA- i love Battlefield but you will lose me as a customer!

What a shame! Like music in America, the young population don’t have a clue. I like multiplayer games but not as much as solo or couch co-op!!

What a shame! To me, Dead Space was one of the greatest franchises I’ve ever played! All 3 games wow What a video game experience! Sad to see that part 4 may never happen. 😲

Ps one games is a big plus- though I've stated 100x that PS4 should've been able to run ps one & ps2 discs from day 1. Anyway- this would be a good thing as long as they're no more than $5 each! I'm sure I'll grab a few of them!

@DrClayman lol that's fine. But back compatibility always has my vote. I definitely thought it was a plus that Sega made the master system adapter to play Master system games on the Genesis. Ok that was 1989 but close to the 90s anyway lol

@DrClayman actually colecovision made it a big deal with the adapter to play Atari 2600 games. Atari was caught off guard and had to scramble to make an adapter of their own for the 5200. Why? Cause it WAS a big deal even back in 1982. Backwards compatibility has always been a big deal to most gamers!

Always a sad day when a console is retired. I Have a lot of great memories with my fat PS3 which also plays ps2 and ps1 discs and is still hooked up & at my disposal right next to my PS4. Tons of great games retail & digital and I built myself quite a remarkable retro library of classics even without the backwards compatibility!! If I have any complaints it would be the PS3 store always tossing me out when trying to shop!! Annoying!! Hmmmm🤔Maybe I'll grab another slim brand new and put in under my stairs!! Need some more backup (aside from my 500g white PS3) to my 600+ PS3 game library to play them on!!
