Played and enjoyed the heck out of Rise. Now playing Shadow and I’m stuck in a cave that seems as if I completed all tasks but can’t get out of the cave. Worse yet, the option to travel out of there from the campfire is unavailable!! 😤🤷‍♂️

I guess our dreams of BC for PS3 and prior systems is not looking too promising 😔
I could live with BC for psone and ps2 at least. That alone would be awesome! ☺️

@RawnDawn I’m really looking forward to this one & if you liked what you saw then check out the Dishonored games also same developer here. AMAZING franchise and all 3 games on sale dirt cheap right now. This Deathloop trailer has a very similar play style to Dishonored and at first I thought it was going to be a new Dishonored game on PS5 lol.

If you never played Dishonored I suggest you check it out for only 6 Washingtons! Amazing game. Such great atmosphere, graphics, action and adventure with light puzzle solving!

Amazing franchise! I enjoyed the hell outta these games! Such wonder and atmosphere!!

I still hope psone, 2 & 3 are included in Sony’s BC plans! That would be amazing!

Great news for those who missed a great remaster! I own a physical copy on PS3, Wii U and 360! But I Would love to see Capcom take the next step and bring it to PS4 & Switch!!

Looking forward to it! I remember most sponge bob games in the past were pretty good platformers! And another PS2 game coming to PS4 along with Destroy all Humans!

The Fat lady will sing very soon. Although I do expect PS4 to still receive ample new games after ps5 hits.

@Deljo I was a kid when I was buying Atari games and i don’t know what made me practice it, but I always kept the box and booklet! Good thing i did. That said I wasn’t as gentle taking care of them at 12 years old as I am today obviously at 53. And having 3 brothers that were animals didn’t help 🤣 as they were always breaking stuff. But I mean, who the hell was thinking video games could be worth any money?? Certainly Not me lol. It started to hit me when the nes and master system hit when a buddy who only had an nes flipped over the master system and offered me $300 for my master system and my 50 game mint library (obviously his offer wasn’t close to what I could get today) although I considered it in my mind, my response then was “no way jose” go get your own! 🤣🤣Lol

@Unffclcntrllerpd omg that’s the worst! I don’t even make the purchase when I see that no way...at least you can get the sticker off the box verrry slowly...the instruction manual is just about impossible so again I don’t even make the purchase...that issue in my experience is a lot less common these past years. I hate the fact that Gamestop even guts the new games for display purposes- horrible!!

You gamers who are 100% digital are killing Gamestop and other chains both here in the US and the UK. Get in the car and go to the store?? When you’re done sell or trade it in? You Can’t trade in digital games. Zero value. Look what happened with the Wiishop...closed! Done! PS3 store probably won’t be too much longer either. I buy many digital games too yea but only if not available physically at all or dirt cheap like when I bought a digital copy of NFS Rivals for 5 bucks. And if you’re REALLY gonna consider throwing them in the trash (not sure why you even would) instead of trading them in, then most of us DO recycle today right?? Idk man Maybe I’m just too old school...lol

@Robinsad in fact BC even goes back to the Atari 7800 days. He hopefully is referring it being a new thing as possibly going all the way back to psone for example. HOPEFULLY lol

I’ve said it before but If PS5 Plays PS1-PS3 discs that will be incredible!!! I’ll even settle for psone and 2 only if they can’t figure out the beast that is PS3! Meanwhile, at least Xbox series X will go back as far as 360 and that in itself is awesome! Maybe I can disconnect some systems and make some room! ☺️

@SoulChimera still a great shooter today and stands the test of time! Played the hell outta that game! I was also addicted to Stampede, Sea Quest, Megamania and Kaboom!! 🤣😁 The Playstation 2 had an awesome Activision Collection like 50 2600 games! Would love to have it on PS4!

Believe it or not but I’d love to see an Activision Atari 2600 Collection! Having games like River Raid, Stampede, Megamania etc would be awesome!

@JohnnyShoulder lol If you’re being serious just grab all 3 Atari flashback discs and you’re golden..yea they don’t have the Activision 2600 games on them but at least it has all the original Atari Arcade games! Then you can run them on PS5. 👍😊

I’m getting a ps5 regardless and just PS4 BC is going to be awesome enough. BUT- the mere thoughts of playing psone, 2 & 3 games on ps5 makes my palms all sweaty!! 🤣🤣

@Arnna well I have the original fat PS3 So that covers 1,2 and 3 games which enabled me to put my PS2 away. So it helps with space I mean how many game systems can you have hooked up anyway? Lol 😆

Crap! I knew was to good to be true! But as an owner of 250 Psone, 450 ps2 and 600 PS3 games it would be absolutely amazing!! Hell I’ll be thrilled for psone, 2 & 4 BC!!!

Wow Too funny! I thought maybe I was the only one annoyed with this!! Been playing the Dishonored franchise and I have to get up off the couch to get closer to read all the text...and it’s a lot of reading in these games! As a 53 year old gamer who’s slowly going blind as a bat anyway, font and text size should definitely be in the options menus!!! Cmon devs!!

THAT would just be absolutely unbelievable and I pray for this to be true!!!!!!! I’ve said knowing the PS3 is a complicated beast to emulate, I’d still be thrilled for psone, 2 & PS4 BC at the very least!! I still have all my old Playstation libraries! 😊 i probably own around 1200 retail games between Psone, 2&3!

@Eldritch that’s a fair point but even though even discs have a limited life span, compared to digital it’s a no brainer. As far as discs oxidizing over time all I can say is I myself haven’t experienced this yet and my 27 year old Sega CD discs work just fine today.
We will see what happens when Sony shuts down the PS3 store/servers one day- and they will. Only then will we see the real results. And while you can argue that the digital purchases you made are yours to keep, what if your PS3 dies? Then what? Consoles get harder and harder to replace as the years roll on and someday Sony will no longer honor service and repairs either. Yes you obviously wouldn’t be able to run your PS3 discs anymore either and that’s why backwards compatibility when done right is a beautiful thing!! In short, owning physical games is far less risky though than digital ownership imo. 😊

THIS IS WHY PHYSICAL IS KING PEOPLE!! Man those physical copies on eBay are gonna skyrocket!! Lol 😝

@GamerDad66 like Nintendo did with the Wii, when that dreadful day comes that Sony shuts down the PS3 store- that’s gonna sting big time!! I spent thousands on PS3 downloads! And we will lose them all! It’s Terrible!! At least PS4 will carry over to PS5 thank god! 😌

Keeping in mind that BC would be difficult to achieve with PS3, I don’t see why they wouldn’t have ps5 play psone and 2 discs either! That would be awesome!!

@KidBoruto yea my problem is I’ve always jumped around from game to game...So i don’t finish too many lol. There’s just too many to try to play and you know we only have so much free time! The indie games and the old classics distract me a lot from the AAA games as well!
