Finally Sony!! Only took 3 years! I'm gonna get a beast 8TB External drive and download all my purchases!! Ahhh convenience!!

@JLPick both my PS3s are overloaded too but I doubt Sony will do that update....would be awesome though!! Truthfully my PS4, Xbox one and my modded original Xbox (43,000 retro games) and my modded Wii (6300 retro games) are keeping me away from my PS3!! 😊

@JLPick based on my experience with Xbox one you should be able to load your games no matter which drive it's stored on! I have an Xbox one S 2TB internal drive and added a 4TB seagate external drive so I have 6TBs of storage!! With 350 games downloaded (many retail ones) i still have 3.5TB free!! It's a beautiful thing and have been waiting on Sony to do this!! So Hopefully PS4 will function same way as Xbox!

I've been screaming for external hard drive support for 2 years. Memory management is a big waste of time when you can be playing!! Cmon Sony!! Meanwhile psone support would be great but no more than $5 a game! Thx

I like call of duty but the battlefield franchise blows it away! And this is someone who hates EA and was always a big activision fan going all the way back to the 2600!! The multiplayer on battlefield just blows the doors of COD!!

For me, very rare that I pay $60 for a new game. Very very rare! First of all there's only so much time in the day with working full time and raising a family and other stuff. So games like dishonored 2 and many others I have no choice but to wait till they go for $20 then buy em in the hopes that one day I'll have time to play them. The last game I paid $60 for was battlefield 1. Before that was probably 2015 and was probably GTA 5!

Not sure why they're not listed here but for you old school retro fans the 2 Atari classics volumes are available now both as download and at retail. 50 games per volume! Xbox one fans will get same versions in a few weeks. Anyone who opened an Atari 2600 on Christmas morning as a kid will appreciate these! Peace

I have cube,ps2,PS3,360,Wii versions so yea this will follow. I'll grab the ps4 AND Xone retail versions for $16 each! This is a modern classic being remade for current gen. So this to me is like when a retro classic like centipede, dig dug or Galaga is released on current gen. It's a must buy every time!!

@adf86 well both my PS3's play em...I can see ps4 not playing PS3 being PS3 is a complex machine to emulate hence the existence of Playstation now.

Part 2: and while I'd like to see psone games on ps4, I really don't feel I should have to pay for them again like they're doing to us with ps2 games and PS NOW!! To me psone discs should of been playable on ps4 right out of the box!! What a rip!!

External HDD support is a must!!! Not sure what Sony is waiting for but I find myself downloading a lot more games on my Xbox one with a 3TB drive attached. And I really don't wanna open my ps4 either!! Cmon Sony! Get it done!

@solocapers I bounce all over the place with my games and this would also be a matter of convenience too! If I wanted to on a whim play mlb the show 14 for example or show company a certain game, I'd prefer to have it ready to go and not have to redownload 45 gig of data and kill the moment. This is where retail purchases shine IMO!

External hard drive support for sure!! I'm already juggling games to make room for new ones and sales! There's no excuse why a piece of tech like ps4 won't allow a simple external HD connection!! Dying to add a few terabytes to it!!
Ps one classics would be great yes but would be one step greater is not having to rebuy them again and just being able to pop a psone disc in your ps4 would be even more awesome!! Gave up on ps2 BC
