Here’s the rift the Jason claims to have heard about. It’s quite obvious. The ESA’s main source of funding comes from E3. That’s the purpose of the show. The ESA is the gaming industries lobbying body. It’s is very detrimental to the ESA to have one of the biggest gaming companies in the world stop showing up. The ESA is pissed and probably worrying about others following. Guarantee the Kotaku captain obvious has no source on this, he’s stating the obvious and using his reputation of being a story breaker to back it up. It’s actually common sense if you think about it
I have no hopes for the persona game because even when they look different the Team developing all these Mosou tie ins makes the same game reskinned with tweaks
@oldschool1987 it’s the exact reason I pulled my patreon support years ago. They did Colin dirty, whether he’d have left on his own eventually is irrelevant, they didn’t give him the shot. Greg is a disgusting human being as far as I’m concerned. I have no doubt in my mind he’d stab Nick or Tim in the back if he needed to
@AdamNovice well said. Greg doesn’t care so much about his fans. He cares about his ego and being famous. It’s why he was ok with abandoning his fan base in an attempt to cover consoles that his fans didn’t particularly care about.
@RBMango same. Last I saw was Colin actually reached out to Greg to bury the hatchet. Greg admitted as much in a thread online somewhere. However Greg’s excuse was that because of how bad the whole situation made him feel, and the aftermath of it, he felt it’s best for himself to let his friendship with Colin stay in the past. The breakup is when I really learned that the “best friend” stuff was just a Schtick and not real like they acted. The whole situation could have been fixed easily. The problem, unfortunately is that the rest of the guys were well aware of how the industry views Colin, they decided being famous was more important than friendship. Something I find to be especially disgusting when you consider that Colin was by Greg’s side when he quite literally was in a death bed type situation.
@mini_piekarnik Sacred Symbols is a nice replacement if you haven’t heard it. Colin and Chris also have a nice dynamic. It’s not what Colin and Greg has, but they compliment each other well
@wiiware from an outsider looking in, and what I see in general from the games industry, it’s politics. They didn’t like him because he’s a conservative and used the first excuse possible to blackball him. Regardless where you stand politically, it’s a shame we live in a time where instead of being able to discuss things, everyone wants to just silence people who don’t feel the same as them
The ONLY thing this will have over Sacred Symbols is the industry isn’t going to blackball Miller. By the same token, Greg cares what people think too much, and that’s just one more reason I don’t really care about what he has to say. Colin and Chris have a huge podcast and the industry harbors nothing but Ill Will towards them. They will say what they want and don’t care about the consequences. That isn’t going to happen in PSILY
Here’s the problem, as far as actually playstation goes. Greg works it, but he’s like a fanboy. Colin brought the knowledge and the history. Not to mention the really key previously was the dynamic between Colin and Greg, it was pure gold.
@dellyrascal it’s not a strange choice for uncharted collection because they don’t have to pay a few to do it. They own it. Nobody is buying that game anymore, it doesn’t harm them any. Got simulator they probably paid peanuts for
@redd214 well if you’re aware of that maybe you shouldn’t be talking about them recreating the borderlands magic when the developer making this game has literally nothing at all to do with borderlands?
My problem here is I still remember how much vita memory cards cost. No way in hell were getting terrabytes of modular ssd storage in a propriety form in any kind of affordable manner
To be honest this purchase seems pointless insomniac has mostly only made Sony games outside of a few. They have a close knit relationship, unless this was to block a possible Microsoft purchase, what’s the point?
499 is a likely price point I Assume. The beginning of the console is going to be largely cross gen games playable on both consoles, and PS4 is doing great still. I’m sure they don’t care as much about getting ps5 to sell gangbusters out of the gate.
@Kidfried well considering the fact that he said that microchip had plans. He didn’t say thru worked on it he said there were plans. I plan to do many things I don’t.
Secondly, he’s said that it’s definitely coming because how the first sold. He specifically said there is a significant 2nd party exclusive being worked on. He’s not going to call that out by name for risk of burning contacts. Nice try twisting words though
I’m not sure how anyone could be excited about the Avengers. It was announced 2 years ago and they still have no gameplay footage. Not only that but they missed avengers end game by a year. I’m sure that had to have been a target release. I really think this game is in trouble
So it will be out in 2022, like most of Bethesda’s games they’ve been showing. They already have starfield and ES not coming out anytime soon. No way Deathloop or ghostwrite come out any sooner than 2020
As someone who bought both consoles this gen, but switched from playing primarily Xbox to primarily PS4, I’m very disappointed. I was hoping to see what their new built from the ground up studio was doing. I don’t want to see the projects the studios they bought were working on prior to acquisition, because frankly, the only one I’d expect something awesome from was obsidian.
I’ve got the game on vita. Don’t really want to okay through them again. They are great but because of the control scheme they don’t age well. What is LIKE to see, is Konami get Igarashi back and get us more castlevania

Sorry but Golden Abyss is much better than drakes fortune.

I’ve got it, it’s ok. It’s not nearly the masterpiece reviews are calling it. Certainly isn’t platinums best game either

@Flaming_Kaiser Sony didn’t have a good relationship with Ninja Theory. Ninja Theory did like one game for them

@GodGamer 13 million bought Spider-Man. No need to go back in time. It’s like asking naughty dog to do jak and daxter instead of last of us
Re: Does Sony Now Own Xbox Exclusive Series Sunset Overdrive?
I beat SSO and all the DLC on Xbox. To be honest I’d much rather have them continue that than make more Ratchet games
