@BrainHacker yeah, that’s not what pretty much any person I know or have watched play on PC says, and from has a horrible history of PC ports

I’m genuinely surprised by how many people just don’t care that it doesn’t run well

It’s either obviously something to do with Kojima and silent hill (or a spiritual successor) or someone at this game studio is intentionally leading into the theories and has created something that’s only going to end catastrophically if people are wrong and it has nothing to do with Kojima and pt/silent hill/Konami

Hulst and Ryan are running Sony into the ground

This game was fun, but when I played it on pc I was surprised how many goty nods it was getting. It’s fun, but it for damn sure isn’t GOTY material

As always, I won’t be playing it until it gets a good trophy list

There is nothing i want less than ports of ps1 games that have had superior remakes over the last two decades

The problem is that when a game goes free, it was usually on sale just a few weeks earlier. That’s why it so often happens a game goes free right after you buy it

Dreams and Shadow of the colossus are ranked way too high over games that are much better

All of their statements, from Phil, Howard, and Hines all stressed being able to play anywhere and various statements like that. At the very least, BGS titles are coming to ps5. The other stuff, I doubt

The good thing for Godfall and the developers is that people are starving for new stuff at launch, this game will have a pretty good launch for that alone.

Doesnt matter what the price is. Microsoft doesn’t have the big exclusives. Even if they come out winning like the previous gen, Sony will catch up

I don’t think it’s so much the generation winding down as it is a lot of devs probably aren’t sure when their game will be ready now

@Constable_What unfortunately illfonic isn’t really a good developer. To be honest I’m not sure why Sony is helping with this in a 2nd party relationship. Plenty of better devs out there

I really don’t understand the excitement for R&C. I beat it, but it’s not something I’m really hoping to see more of. I’d much rather them do a new sunset overdrive than R&C

@LN78 I don’t think the supply is even going to be an issue. If it’s sold out it doesn’t look bad on sony, not only that, if it’s really going to be 500 plus dollars, not as many
People are going to even have that much expendable cash now

@LN78 I completely disagree, it’s not a bad look on Sony in my opinion. Nintendo intentionally making a shortage is much worse than limited stock. Sony can help that, I’d rather take my chances getting one randomly if I don’t order soon enough than waiting until sometime between March and June. By that point I probably could have gotten lucky to get one anyway

@LN78 limited stock in reality or limited artificially still makes it ripe for 2nd hand selling

It still will be a headache. Just means less stock for each country

I understand a delay from a perspective of parts coming from China. Everything else is simply panic from a media that NEEDS ratings. Coronavirus is severe in 20 percent of its cases. 80 percent end up fine with minor symptoms. Of those 20 percent, what’s the fatality rate? 1 or 2 percent? The fact remains the people at risk are small children, elderly and people with underlying health conditions

@Miiamoto why is it a disgrace. There are plenty of games available to play if this one isn’t to your liking

I think specifically, they don’t want to have the event until they know their price point, and I believe the potential of the Coronavirus to cause shortages or a delay is another reason they are silent

Why would you spend the money when you could just play the backwards compat version ...

If you buy a port when it’s backwards compatible, you’re a clown and you proved the exact reason why backwards compat wasn’t a priority last gen. People will buy anything

I’m not going to lie, I feel this one has no truth to it. If that’s the case, than why is platinum not making Xbox games right now. They don’t even have a working relationship and Microsoft has nothing in the pipeline with them since Scalebound

@Ryall the order was a full scale AAA game, it went through a rough development and was very technologically impressive. You’re comparing a very AAA game that just wasn’t good, to a game made by a small team of guys that if not under the Sony banner, wouldn’t really draw attention. Not to disrespect them, but the order was very much a AAA release, concrete genie is not

@Ryall it would have never been released at a lower price point. The reason for its stunted gameplay and brevity is because RAD focuses on making a graphically impressive game first and foremost

Unless RAD bought the IP I doubt it. It had so much potential, but I’m not sure Sony would green light another sequel
