I’d like to see steeper discounts AND more games

I bought this the other day after I finished new Dawn. The shooting just feels off. Can’t get into it. Usually I buy digital but I had a bad feeling about this one. Glad I went retail so I can trade it to someone else or sell it

@Spider-Cop I don’t think it has anything to do with games as a service. Has a lot more to do with the way consoles are doing them. It’s like a half assed cross between an mmo and whatever genre they choose. This game was doomed to fail and everyone knew it. It’s why they announced working on dragon age months ago, mass effect just recently and probably why they let Respawn launch Apex Legends less than 3 weeks before this

This is why BioWare has flat out come out and said that they are working on mass effect and dragon age. This game is DOA and everyone involved knows it. Makes a lot more since the way EA let Respawn drop Apex Legends out of nowhere less than 3 weeks before this comes out.

@BarFooToo @David187 I’d imagine the 4 people who gave you a thumbs down are because you confronted them with fact and not a bias for the company they choose to blindly support because that’s the console they bought. It’s ok to admit when a company is making mistakes. Xbox making mistakes is the reason my ONE is collecting dust since gears 4 and I’ve only used my PS4 pro since. I can’t wait for the day when finally people will realize just because they own a console doesn’t mean they have to blindly follow and believe everything the manufacturer tells them

@DirectAim @David187 glad you get it because for some reason this guy thinks that PSN is running the servers for the games... it’s either a host on your console or a dedicated server on the devs end

@David187 yes, that is exactly how it works. It’s already been done, on more than one occasion with much bigger games than smite, Paladins or Realm Royale. If a stress test WAS the reason they would have started out smaller, not opted for the game with the largest community to see if the network could handle it

@David187 it’s got nothing to do with disagreeing. You are taking literal fact and choosing to ignore it because of your love for the company in question. That’s exactly WHY Layden is lying because he knows much of the fan base will believe what he says. The people making the games are telling you their games are ready to go. That’s why cross play works with everything BUT PlayStation, instead you choose to believe the executive of the company who just recently flip flopped on crossplay due to the overwhelming bad publicity they got over it

@Gamer83 no disrespect to pushsquare, I enjoy this site, but I’d say as a whole, games journalism is currently made up of a bunch of hive mind hacks who make issues to push agendas. They are exactly the same as a media source that swings either left or right

@David187 that’s funny because two games did it accidentally before Sony gave them permission. Stop being a Sony fan boy Sony has nothing to do with it outside of giving permission. The developers are the ones turning it on in their games not Sony. I’m baffled at how everyone just blindly chooses to believe what Sony says, as if Sony actually gives a hoot about you other than your money for their goods

@dellyrascal I disagree. I think Sony is “testing” how much money they stand to lose on in game transactions first, and if it’s NOT significant, they will let others do it

@Flaming_Kaiser nope. Because Layden has already said all they have to do is ask. They’ve done that and we’re told “no”. It doesn’t need to be “tested” stop believing everything Sony tells you. It’s ready to go the day the devs implement it. Sony doesn’t want it

@FullbringIchigo once again. It’s on the dev side. Not Sony or Microsoft. Hence why they enabled it when nobody knew they can. Realm Royale, Smite, and Paladins could be cross play today if Sony would let them. It’s sony who isn’t playing fair and that’s why devs are calling them out for playing favorites

@FullbringIchigo you need their online service because the consoles are designed to not allow it to happen. And yes, it is that simple because that’s how this talkngot started on console. At one point both Rocket league and Fortnite “accidentally” turned it on

@DLB3 considering we’ve all see in the past devs could “accidentally “ turn on cross play, I’d imagine Sony is only beta testing how much money they lose on in game transactions

@DanM I don’t care about it per se, but it would help a lot with smaller games. Like for instance I’d like to play Friday the 13th still. The player base on PS4 is so low I can never get full games. With crossplay that might not be an issue

@MattyHammo if I was a dev I wouldn’t do either of those things. I’d make the game I want to make. Part of the problem we have here is devs giving people too much say in what they do. The community is too used to throwing torches on everything they don’t agree with

@Neolit I think the problem we all have is looking at BR as a genre. It really should me a mode. It’s just all these companies releasing it standalone has made it a genre when really it’s just a game mode. Haven’t played blops4 yet but I like they mad it just another game mode in their game and not a standalone product

Everywhere I’ve looked online, those with “sources” have never called it titanfall. It’s being called Apex Legends. Game journalists are throwing in the name titanfall just because it’s in the universe

@Neolit doubt that’s true at all. It’s f2p. People will try it. You don’t need titans for the game to be fun. The pilot gameplay is exceptional. It’s only titanfall because of the universe. They aren’t even calling it titanfall. They’re calling it Apex Legends

@RBMango the rumor that I had read was it to teams of 3. They are class based pilots, 4 available at launch for free with two being able to be purchased l, and then cosmetic like loot boxes. If the gunplay is like titanfall I would be in regardless. I get distrusting EA, but it’s not like we’re talking battlefield. The FPS gameplay in titanfall id argue is the best in the genre I might not win that argument but I really believe you can make a very good case for the gameplay in titanfall to be cream of the crop on console fps games. (Talking run and fun)

@RBMango if it was the pilot gameplynof TF2, with some different mechanics and f2p, why would that be bad? The titanfall FPS mechanics are better than the gameplay in fortnite and pubg

@NinjaWaddleDee the FPS combat as pilots in titanfall is exceptional. It is the one game I don’t understand how it’s not selling well. It plays fast fluid and fun

The problem I’m running into is finding a charging station that will charge the NEW psvr move wands, without bricking them eventualy

@Thatblackguy121 I’m basing it off the fact that the game is clearly unfinished and extremely repetitive. If the game was released under any other name without the drama surrounding Konami and Kojima it would have scored less. It’s nowhere near one of the best games of the generation. Not by a long shot

People also liked mgs5. Kojima is the type of developer whose games score higher than the should. It’s similar to how most 1st party Nintendo games usually score a point or two higher than they should
