Marvel's Avengers has been a long time coming, but at E3 2019, Square Enix has at last uncovered its ambitious superhero project. Get your first taste of it in this debut trailer.
The trailer introduces a handful of the well-known heroes, and it appears they're framed for some sort of catastrophic event. As announced at Square's presser, you'll play as a few of the Avengers in single player or co-op in what appears to be a story-driven action adventure. The game is set to star Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, and Black Widow, with more heroes to come post-launch.
We even got a release date -- 15th May, 2020. What do you think of Marvel's Avengers? Will this be another winner for Marvel game adaptations? Be heroic in the comments below.

The first live service game I’m SUPER pumped that it’s going to be live service!
Keep adding heroes and raids etc and it’ll be awesome! Also no destiny 2 like paid expansions sound preeettyyy sweet.
The first few months of 2020 are beyond insane now. And The Last of Us Part 2 is dropping in there as well.
so everyone is dumping their current gen games before next e3 pretty much sums up.
Still not sure how the live service part is going to work for a game like this. Interested to see how the levelling progression works and also how often will the developers be adding new content.
@AdamNovice Yeah 2020 is insane plus add next gen in there, we all going to be broke.
What the hell,Avengers game without Spidey? Im out,and don't say they might add him after launch. He needs to be in the base game story. This is ridiculous !!
What do we actually know about this game? Not much.
Looks way better than the Marvel game on the Switch, if I'm being perfectly honest. I'll definitely keep my eye on this.
@hulkie Considering Spider-Man's video game appearances are under lock and key with Sony, it's not that ridiculous.
@Ralizah yeah, it really does. Although I’m still kinda looking forward to Alliance 3. But I’ll have my eyes set on this new Avengers game as well.
Is that Nolan North voicing Tony Stark?
@Rob_230 Yes, the Drake brothers have reunited with Nolan as Iron Man and Troy Baker as Bruce Banner. There’s an interview clip from the press conference.
Another one looking really good, Square stealing the show this year
That trailer looks awesome! My other half heard the video playing, saw me smile and said “is that another Avengers film?” I just smiled and said “hopefully even better” (the jaded cynic in me hopes it’s bloody good but will wait for reviews)
@Bluetrain7 haha amazing i love those two working together!
At least this CG trailer has some gameplay perspectives...
How is anyone excited for this? After two years of the original announcement the best they could come up with is a CG trailer
Looks cool. Can't say I'm sold on the voice casting, though. None of them seem to have much gravitas to them. I mean I can't believe I'm saying this, but it has to be the first time I don't think Nolan North fits the role. He almost sounds pubescent.
I'm not a fan of live service games. Maybe I'll wait until all the extra heroes are released.
Liveservice ok ill wait then i really dislike those.
