I would only purchase some digital games that are say in a discount on the ps store. But I'd never go full digital as I'm a gamer that doesn't really collect games like some, so once I've finished the game I trade it in and then use that towards a new game. But I couldn't go full digital unless they offered a service where you'd be able to trade them in towards another digital game, but don't think this would work.

Honestly guys these problems that people are having or the storage issue as I think it does a good job on storage! I've had mine since the Launch day in the UK. And played multiple ps5 launch games and ps4 games and can say it runs with no issues. If you can get a pre-order try for an instore one. I know it's tough due to covid but it's how I got mine from our local GAME store. But to anyone you will love it once you get your hands on one. But don't be forced to buy an overpriced one.

I got my ps5 from Game in-store and I've had 4 ps5 games and to be honest it runs quiet as hell, especially from past experience with a ps4 pro and everyone can agree on that is an experience in more ways then one. But on an overall basis I've been lucky to have a ps5 and not to have any known issues with mine.

It's just very sad news that people are missing out on the ps5 because of greedy people and bots!

I don't agree with him one bit? With the original PlayStation 4 this was a problem with the 500gb model. And where these next gen games are going to be bigger in size. You are going to have gamers that are going to be installing next gen games, ps plus collection games and the previous ps4 games on their console. And with no fixed date for more storage options this stands at more then a minor issue/ problem?

Haha count your lucky stars if this has happened to you. I should be alright as I'm collecting mine from my local store. Just hope it's not a faulty one!

@thefourfoldroot Interesting, that’s good to know as I thought it had to be the 3D Headset to fully utilise the sound affects in the games and stuff! So let’s say my Razer Kraken will do just fine?

I will do the season pass dlc and new dlc on the ps5 I think. I did most of the single player with a friend, on and off and I experienced no lags or bugs on my playthrough. And this was on a pro as well. But I did have this playing on two separate pro's and game preformed fine for me.

Hate having to wait so long to pick up the ps5 now Honestly the 19th can't come quick enough!

Man I miss these games. I use to play endless hours on these games and never get bored! Time splitters, NFS Underground and Star wars battlefront were my endless hour games!

It will be an interesting take next week with the ps5 being sold in the UK come Thursday. As some people would have held to purchase these games with the ps5 console.

@IanAlbarn Someone of maybe a few gamers may not have given either game a go...

For this exact reason this is why I didn't bother with recent releases and decided to just get them on the ps5 as I thought it would pop up with a few issues down the road. Trophies being one of them and saves.

Not really interested in Call of duty but I hope most if not all developers play suit and give us options to install for each game title. As not every gamer plays online games they play just a game solely for the single player. I would find this feature very useful to be honest.

But I don't think the ps5 storage is an issue for myself as I play one game at a time and once completed I sell it on.

Sony is trying there best to get all these consoles out as soon as possible. It's not that they have produced a short amount it's because it's a very hot product along with the Xbox.

Sony didn't give notice when it first was free to pre-order they apologised but Xbox gave a time and date but still had the same issue with it not being able to pre-order.

Ps5 sold more then the ps4 did in 12 days but in 12 hours... I was lucky enough to get a GAME in store pre-order. But you just have to be patient, they are doing their best to keep up with the demand. This is wave 3 of stock I believe varies by country, but you just have to be patient.

Hope they don’t mess the WRC UP as since WRC 8 & 9 the games have been very good and such an improvement!

@huyi they actually had a very handy tool, when looking at trophies you could have an option to search for he trophy on the web browser. Was sometimes faster then searching on computer or laptop.

I sold my black ps pro for around 180 but stated it does heat up and is nosiey as I previously brought it pre-owned from my local Game store. But I managed to grab a bargain and get a Last Of Us part 2 limited edition pro for £230 and now I can listen to my games in slience! I have it on a wall mount and it’s next to my window so it gets the right air ventilation!

@d0a01xz Watchdogs legion is brilliant! I’ve played 1 and 2 but just couldn’t get into them! But with Legion I love it! I’ve been getting side tracked and just messing about with the different characters. I’m confident you’ll enjoy it, I’ve bee playing it since launch and can’t get enough of it.

@ShaiHulud WRC 9 I have plat trophy for! And I would highly recommend it! Even the ps4 version, I’m not entirely sure what they have in store for the ps5 version though.

@popey1980 You’ll have the ps collection also! But I would look at a company (google) called boomerang rentals very good! They are doing ps5 games Aswell! I have the 15.99 package and I can rent two ps4 games for how ever long I want! They post them too you via Royal Mail! I’ve used it for over a year now and haven’t got a fault wrong! You do have the option to buy the game if you like it from them. Worth a check! It eliminates that 70 buying price! (:

Going to be spider man / dirt 5 and devil may cry 5. I would love to give Godfall a go but I’m 50/50 on that at the moment! So might pick that up further down the line.

@Medic_Alert The SSD is advertised as 825gb and with OS AND everything else I believe it leaves it with 664gb according to the leaks.

But not every ps5 is going to have 664gb dead on straight out of the box. For example my old ps4 pro had 880gb straight out the box. Now my current ps4 pro last of us edition pro has 872gb so it varies per HD/SSD.

@d0a01xz There probably will be ps5 VR games as Sony still see a market there. But right at this moment they probably aren’t / planning to make any.

@b1ackjack The PS5 will only have 664GB of storage on the internal SSD, and that the pre-installed game Astro's Playroom will take up 2.38GB. But like mostly it will VARY but my guess lowest I would imagine being 605gb but between 600-664gb I would say could be higher or lower! No hardrive memory is ever the same.(:

It’s about time the motion controllers got a discount because they are overpriced. VR is okay but some great games over this gen never the less.

Sony don’t need to counter Xbox at all in regards to Bethesda buyout.

Elder scrolls and star field might be massive deals to some but just any BETHESDA game hasn’t really been mind blowing recently!

Dishonored won’t be touched again I doubt, Wolfenstein is coming to an end in my eyes. They did the same with Dishonored and Wolfenstein with both stand alone games. And let’s not talk about Fallout!

Xbox need to spend money on their actual owned developers and try and get Halo and gears developer to try and different game idea.

They are just showing off with money and Bethesda. Which goes to show they don’t have faith in the talent of their own studios like Sony does..

Sony’s pre-order process was a mess but both platforms were a mess. But it’s a next gen console I think even if Sony was more clearer on the set date they’d go live it wouldn’t have made much of a difference. Xbox had the same issue even giving a set time and date.

It’s not always good to get a first batch of new tech straight away as sometimes you can get unlucky with a bad batch! Plus we can play these games on current gen systems! Yes you aren’t going to get the full controller and console features correct but it’s something that we will just have to bite and wait.

Sony has held the hands up and said they could have done better but this is a very very hot product of 2020. We will just have to be patient.

@God_of_Nowt But I think on an overall basis it mostly applies to in store pre-orders opposed to online pre-orders, as online would be upfront payment and send straight out kinda thing.

@God_of_Nowt I have a good friend who works in a Game store and she has to contact pre order customers to come in and pay for it, but I think she said this to be in force next week possibly. I will try and get more info tomorrow for you to confirm!

I think they are doing this because to make it easier for a mid night launch and can get through the customers and preorders quicker which does make sense!

And I believe GAME is contacting pre-order owners to get them to pay for the console similar to Shopto is so it quickens the process or if they do plan to ship these within the courier network.

The U.K. has local lockdowns but to be honest we are heading for another country lockdown I think the numbers are soaring! Game should just approach it like shop to have done give the customers a deadline to pay then send them through a courier! I’ll just pick mine up from the depot as I work for DPD so all is good!

If this came to VR I’d be scared to put the thing on again💀😂😂😭 imagine turning round and mr ALIEN just standing there haha 😆

These are good options.. 1080p is still used by many people, as not everyone has a 4K tv.. heck some people will be playing the ps5 on a HD tv as that’s the way goes? So it shouldn’t be just dumped like that! We should all have options like this as not everybody will be able to have a fancy 4K tv lol! But that 1080p, 60fps, ray tracing ON
4K, and 60fps, ray tracing OFF does sound good! I’ll be playing on a 4K tv myself but not everybody has one.
