Re: Hands On: Suicide Squad Takes a Lot of Getting Used to, and It May Not Be Worth It

ZeD

@Titntin from what I have been reading from players on the sub reddit, the first few hours are all tutorial but they are all saying they are having fun (I know... 2024 and having fun in a video game!). I have been patiently waiting for reviews on this but I feel this is the latest "it is cool to hate" game. So I am going to wait some more, for either big price drop or if it gets added to a sub service.
Like I said above, my only worry is Rocksteady's Resources going towards this instead of fully to the next project but I hope they have a plan lol.

Oh yeah, welcome to the internet where you are always wrong 😂

Re: Talking Point: What Can We Expect in the Next State of Play Show?

ZeD

FF7 Rebirth Demo
SH2 Date + Demo
A new VR2 game from Sony Studios would be nice

Edit: And something new from a Sony Studio for the PS5. It is great they are filling gaps with some exclusive 3rd party stuff, but it should be about time we start seeing something from future 1st party studios.

Re: Microsoft Extends Deadline of $69 Billion Activision Blizzard Acquisition

ZeD

@get2sammyb I am not talking about timed exclusives. The Final Fantasy deals are not timed. They are locked down heavy to the Sony platform.
I just do not like the narrative of people complaining that they can not play X game on the PS5 because of exclusivity whereas Sony has build an entire generation on that model.

Like I said, the only difference is that you could play X game series before (not that there was many outside CoD) and now you cannot.

@Americansamurai1
Yeah very true. Who knows what will happen. Makes a tonne of money, why change it?

Re: Microsoft Extends Deadline of $69 Billion Activision Blizzard Acquisition

@StrawberryTurtle Sony paid for the exclusivity deal. This came out in the court documents. Also both sides paying devs to stop games being added to Game Pass & Plus.
They are both as bad as each other. I would say (need to check facts on this) MS started it first in the 360 era, followed by Sony become exclusive heavy in the PS3 era. This continued in PS4 era as that dominated, followed by Xbox snapping up studios which, (you probably forgot about) Sony did too.

Re: Microsoft Extends Deadline of $69 Billion Activision Blizzard Acquisition

ZeD

@StrawberryTurtle Final Fantasy 7R, Final Fantasy 16 to name some 3 rd party.
Sony also have their own excusive games that Xbox players cannot play. The only difference is that Activision games use to release on PlayStation, but now they will not (apart from CoD).

Also, have we forgot about Insomniac Games? They published for Xbox then were bought out.

I have never understood the argument "but PlayStation will not have any Activision games...". Just buy an Xbox, just like you would by a PlayStation for their exclusive games!

Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for November 2022 Announced

ZeD

@Shstrick I don’t see the issue. I think it’s cool but Sony promoted Premium to have a collection of classic games including any remasters. And with how terrible Premium currently is, they could have added them. They did the same with Vice City.

Re: Reaction: PS Stars Is Overdue Yet Appreciated, But There's Lots of Room to Improve

ZeD

I can see the appeal of the missions as it makes you do tasks that you may have not done before but... this is Sony. If history tells us anything, if something is nothing moving quick enough for them, they will drop it fast.
I still think that the digital collectables where NFTs at one point (especially with the idea that there will be one item for the first person who Plats a certain game) but they did a U-Turn after the first announcement.

Re: PS Vita's PS Store Says Content Is No Longer for Sale

ZeD

@Uncharted2007 lol, what was your original comment? From reading through the comments it seems you said it has the worst library of games?
It probably was something a little different as it was removed but if not, shame on PS for removing the comment. 🤣

Re: Bethesda Title Dishonored 2 Leaving PS Now on 1st June

ZeD

Erm, this is not the first Bethesda game to be removed with short notice. Evil Within was removed without notice and Evil Within 2 was removed shortly after. Wolfenstein II was an ongoing access game at one point, but again, that has gone. It does also say on the PS Now website "Games included in PS Now are subject to change at any time". I think it has happened to other games in the past but cannot remember off the top of my head.
I know that site does not show the kill date for the game but it also had FF15 on the list over a month after it was removed.

Re: The Last of Us 2 Sets a New Record with 2.8 Million Digital Sales in June

ZeD

@Col_McCafferty Is there a need for that? They had an opinion on the game and as humans, we are entitled to that. Not every one agrees.

I myself did not fully enjoy the game as I felt the story was really poorly told, mainly the second part and it is not because I dislike the character you play as before any one says that (getting sick of that comment).
I can sort of see why some (mainly the majority) enjoyed the story but for me, it just did not click. The only character I really felt sorry for was Alice 😅

Graphically it was great along with the game play. But the masterpiece part of this game, for me, was the sound design. I have never played a game like it where the use of sound was spot on.

It is a strange case with this game. it is the only game I can think of where having a negative opinion is 'wrong'? Very strange...
