@PuppetMaster I am not a massive MP gamer but back in the PS3 era, I loved the MP for Uncharted 3 and Killzone 2. Spent many hours on them

Piracy has definitely skewed these numbers. In the piracy sub reddit you always saw the Sony games being cracked day one

@themightyant with how much AAA games are costing to make, plus the price of games and now this increase, the gaming industry is due a crash again

So the next price increase will be PS Plus I guess...

It is strange to see it with the lowest price logged out and the higher price logged in. I would have expected a lower price for certain users.

@StitchJones yeah, the UI is too busy. That load out screen scared me that much I just deleted the game.
I’m was looking for a fun little MP game to drop a few hours but this isn’t it. I should get back into Helldivers 2

I have been out of the loop with MP games for many years. The main types I know are PvP and PvE, so what is an Extraction shooter?
Is it like Helldivers?

A beta for the PS5 firmware dropped this week (code shared last week but they were broken) and the list of changes is rather tiny compared to others. I wonder if this update is in there...

Pretty poor month for myself. Not a fan of fighters, flying sims or metroidvanias. As for Subnautica 2, I have a massive fear of deep waters, so that is a no go 😂

I can see this being announced at the Xbox Developer showcase in January.

@get2sammyb I can see the figures in the UK being a lot higher as it felt like every store front was giving away a PS5! I swear I saw some deals around the mid £200 for the digital model and just over £300 with EA FC.

I too enjoy the scripted action of the campaigns. In the world of quite large open world games, it is sometimes nice to turn your mind off and blast through.
It is just like watching Michael Bays films.

@Mikey856 I upgraded my WiFi router from the one given to me by my provider. That was a game changer.

@Mikey856 I think my issue with PS5 streaming is my set up. I have to use power lines or WiFi and both are not great. Where as the cloud streaming is just straight to my router.
PS5 streaming works well but I feel that the quality is a little better via the cloud.

This runs better than when connected to my PS5 lol
I am still hoping they add the ability to stream the PS3 games on the service

@EfYI well yeah, they were/are competitors but I just don’t see how one side won, that is all. PlayStation players get Xbox Studio games and MS get their money from it.
If anything (like I’ve said before), the ones who are really winning are the gamers.

@Sergo still no idea what you are on about. There was no "battle" between any one. No one is winning or losing... actually the true "winners" are gamers as we get to play games where ever.

Some people make themselves believe that they have nothing to play and NEED the latest games. For myself, I am overflowing across 3 (current) consoles. That does not include titles from 360 and PS3 lol

If we are going on the previous games from the same studio, I see no reason why it could not be a GotY. I have played two of that studio's games in the past (Brothers and A Way Out) and both of them were excellent.
Maybe I am just bitter because I have no way of playing the newer ones 😂

@themightyant I think it is due to being spoilt to many 1st Party Games in the PS3 and PS4 era that blinds some people.

The trailer for Saros did peak my interest but until I see game play, I cannot really say if I will like it or not. I could not get along with Returnal (never made it past the second area) due to the difficulty curve, but they have said it is not as punishing as Returnal. So, who know... it might be a perfect balance for me.

I feel that statement from some ("not offering anything"), should be rephrased to "not offering anything for me" (I would put the for me in bold but I have no idea how to do that lol) and then the conversation would be very different.

I did not realise that "Tides of Annihilation" had another gameplay video until now. Watching through it and it looks really half decent. From the trailer shown in the SoP it looked like it was just a Boss to Boss killer game.

@Migoshuro probably because it requires 2 players and not every one has that option. As soon as I saw it, I just ignored it as I know I will never play it. Same reason why I have never played It Takes Two.
