What was the booth like? Rebellion always have a smallish booth and allow gamers to play for long periods. The queue at EGX last year for this was silly! But I did manage to get a play of this on an Xbox One as every one was leaving.
Whether the games all come out at once or spread out through out the year you don't have to buy games on the day of release. Pick a couple and then get the rest when they are cheaper! 😂
@kyleforrester87 I tried the first one but couldn't click with it. I think I expected a Resident Evil style game but it was a different beast all together! But this was on my Xbox One. Might have to re-invest.
Great review but I still struggle to see why this is a VR game. Don't get me wrong the game looks great and I can sort of understand what the sense of 3D can add but I am still not sold on the idea, especially for this game.
On a side note before any one jumps in; I am not a hater of the VR, I just wish that some games had the option for both VR & Non-VR as the pay wall is quite high with this
I remember finding Katamari like this. Sitting on break in my college job flicking through a PS2 magazine and stumbling across the game. People will say that there are too many games now but it is just because we now have access to view them all unlike in the past where only the big titles got all the attention. Plus gaming was not as mainstream as it is these days (god I sound old)
You cannot really say "split critics" with three review scores I do agree that the three do sit on the full scale of scores out of 10 which could give an indication of what is to come from other sites.
@get2sammyb Maybe you should have noted which ones are online only as I am currently looking for a local co op to play with a friend and got excited thinking Uncharted 4 had been updated! :/
@get2sammyb This is my worry with services like this (including PS Now). You could invest a lot of time into a game, not complete it and it gets removed from the services. You could have sunk, lets say 4 months in at £12.99 (Now Price) and when it gets removed you have to buy it to complete it. Nearly £52 spent! Might as well buy it! I think it would be similar for Game Pass
Is this VR only? And if so why? From what I have seen this is another game that could be a PS4 game with optional VR Support if your have the PSVR.
Until Dawn is one of my favorite games and it is a shame I cannot get more out of the world due to lack of hardware
EDIT: Might check some Let's Plays out YouTube thinking about it
@Roc ok.... The need for that? I just stated I passed on what I read from other reviews. I see you like it which is great. I'm not too concerned about the game atm as I need to finish 3! XD
@ShogunRok want a hug? Seriously though, I explained all the negative points of the game to a friend's who is a huge fan and he cancelled his preorder. The killer was that to u can not fully control your team!
The demo played at EGX was terrible. It was dull and lacked no structure. If it was based upon a recent build I am glad it was delayed. I can see where the game is going but It needs a lot of improvement! the "gameplay" demos I have seen are no where near what I played last week.
EDIT: Also I hate how developers attach RPG to games these days because they have a few choice systems, crafting systems and basic equipment management
@VikingGod20 lol well Uncharted 4 is done so now onto the next game. It is either Ni No Kuni, Witcher 3 or Fallout 4 Ahh, Mass Effect 3 another game I never got around too
@VikingGod20 When I saw this in my inbox I thought what have a comment on? Such an old post but hey, thanks for the advice. It is actually sitting in my to do pile to start after I finish Uncharted 4 (yes, still have not played it once through but I am feeling a little down at the moment so gaming is slow) but anyway back to point - I will read the books to get into the game more and hopefully by the time I get to it the DLC will be cheap!
@Neurotic_Biotic I am glad I am not the only one who thinks the mp us a mess! They need to limit the amount of buddies on screen at one. I had three brutes in one area!
That image of No Man's Sky has sold it. It is all about being sucked into a world and whether No Man's Sky is VR ready, I will be playing it in Cinematic Mode!
@get2sammyb So, this year's EGX is just going to belong to the Playstation VR! I hope it was not like last year though. I played a space shooter which was OK but I really wanted to play the Kitchen!

Re: Guide: The Best PS4 Co-Op Games
Again, would it hurt to have a tag saying local co op is an option?
Re: Hands On: Strange Brigade Is a Punchy, Pulpy 1930s Shooter
@Quintumply They never learn. It was the same for Sniper Elite 4 XD

PSone games on PS4 with trophy support
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 209
Bit of this, bit of that. But I am putting a bit of time into my Uncharted 2 hard run this weekend
Re: Bethesda Softworks Was 2017's Best Publisher, According to Metacritic
@kyleforrester87 Thinking about it, I feel the controls put me off. Its cheap as chips now so might have to try it again

Re: Review: Moss (PS4)
@Fight_Teza_Fight It sounds like a quality over quantity type of game

Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
@get2sammyb probably the latter. But for me it's just the cheek of the save slot that makes me not super interested.
Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi too many games have this free to play model these days. 😐
Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
@Kidfried I feel he may be a troll. He's account is just under 2hours old
Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
@CallMeAl huh? Hack? Sorry I feel I've missed something lo
All I hate is the $10 save charge.
I'll try it eventually once all kinks are ironed out
Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
@Flaming_Kaiser how dare you not like a specific genre or being online or paying for save slots! 😂
Each to their own. Gotta love the Internet and being told your opinion is wrong lol
I'll probably give this a go later in the year once I've killed my back log. Launch price of £20, will soon be £5.
@CallMeAl how is the open world? Plenty to do between travelling?
Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
@McGuit I don't want to link to another site but just Google search it.
Good review but don't agree with score tbh. Currently better than The Impatient and I would rather play that, if I had a VR.
@Splat yeah this score cannot be right.
Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
That $10 new character charge though 🤣
Re: Talking Point: What Free March 2018 PS Plus Games Do You Want?
@Quintumply Came here to say this but you beat me to it 🤣
@Melucine does your dad work for Nintendo 😂

Re: Review: Mass Effect: Andromeda (PS4)
@kyleforrester87 I'll agree with this one. Horizon had a great launch. The fact it had no microtranstions was amazing, especially in 2017!
Re: Review: Mass Effect: Andromeda (PS4)
@Roc I did come a cross like that (basically friends talk sh*t) but hey no worries man. Enjoy your game.

Re: Hands On: Persona 5 Has Absolutely Stolen Our Hearts on PS4
Oh yes, I cannot wait for this one. 2017 is shaping up to be the Golden Year for the PS4.

Re: Talking Point: Is It Time for PSone Classics on PS4?
Can you not imagine some of the trophies for the classic games? 100% crash bandicoot or spyro!?
Re: E3 2016: Sadly, The Last Guardian's PS4 Box Art Sucks
Doesn't bother me as I will end up getting this digital from the US store for along £40
Re: Talking Point: Did Sony PlayStation's E3 2016 Press Conference Deliver?
Very well paced with a nice Spiderman surprise!
Re: Talking Point: PlayStation 4K - Are You In or Out?
The main point is this; do you have a 4k tv or not? If not than you will not notice a damn thing!
Re: Learn Why Shenmue Is Held in Such High Regard
The need to release 1 & 2 so I can play them as I have no idea what the hype is all about for the third one (sorry)
Re: These PS4 Games Will Be Playable in Sony's E3 2016 Booth
@get2sammyb I will see how you are feeling at 4am on June 14th!
Can you maybe put a post up for times of shows? I have a list but it is USA times :/
Re: These PS4 Games Will Be Playable in Sony's E3 2016 Booth
E3 seems to start earlier and earlier each year! Today has had a few big ones
Re: Review: Mirror's Edge Catalyst (PS4)

Installed it, played 3 races and deleted it. Never to be downloaded again.
Terrible controls, terrible soundtrack and boring in general

Re: Soapbox: Scale Is PlayStation VR's True Game Changer
@get2sammyb It will be very interesting to see how the Cinematic Mode works. Either way, imagine playing a game on a 225inch screen!

Re: Feature: 5 PlayStation VR Games That Have Us Hella Hyped
@Ps4all I have heard that some find it ok but for me it was just strange & the demo I played just did not do it for me.
Re: Feature: 5 PlayStation VR Games That Have Us Hella Hyped
@Ps4all yes it supposedly does but when I tried it I had to take them off as it was very uncomfortable
