@Titntin reminds me of when I got my OG PS5 off Amazon. It crashed, and then when it reloaded I managed to snag one. But it assigned it to an old card that didn't have the funds on it.
Luckily hey give a grace period where you could change payment details.

@Titntin I was one of those folks who dismissed the Portal. I now own one and think its incredible.

@Titntin it makes sense to based on Burning Shore. It looked stunning.

I would like to know if it is the visuals of the base game or Burning Shores? Not sure what they did but Burning Shores looked amazing. I think it was the cloud system them added which really helped.

I had 0 expectations going into this when I watched it this morning and I left pleasantly surprised.
I was quite against the Horizon remaster originally but it looks like a bit of effort has gone into it. I finally see Sony's vision with these remasters; it is to get them on PC. Makes me wonder if that Days Gone remaster rumour is true...

@Dragoon1994 I would rather them put the effort into new games of the classic IPs (like they did with GoW) or introduce some new IPs.

Remasters are great but it does feel like that is all we are getting atm (not just from Sony)

@Ludacritz this is pretty much the game in a nutshell 😂

My main gripe with it is the constant stopping you on your tracks for someone to say something obvious or that the puzzle is solved for you as soon as you walk into an area.

I feel they are using the remasters to fill gaps in between their larger releases (if they ever come that is).
Usually by this point in the game generation we are seeing the big games that all the studios have been working on. Showing off what the console can really do!
It has been a strange generation....

Unrealistic Enix expectations + exclusive to PS5 = Poor Sale Numbers.

I have never played any of these games but I fired up the first one and I have no idea what to do. It throws you into a level and I was told to find something.

The Plucky Squire and Night in the Woods for me! Played Night in the Woods when it was on Game Pass and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend it, especially this time of year 🍁

Can it stand horizontal without an extra stand? I have the original fat and that bad boy is very unstable without it.

I have always said that Play Room is the best PS5 experience and I am glad this is living up to it. Will definitely pick this up at a later date when it is a little cheaper. Can imagine there will be hundreds of copies in CeX in a month (thanks to the Plat and Sell crew lol)

I really should jump back into this. Had it on launch, played for a little while and never went back.

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare we are 4 years into this current generation cycle and we have yet to see anything original from Naughty Dog. Since the PS3 days, I always saw them as "the PS Studio", the ones that really showed off the hardware tech. It has been Insomniac Games doing all the current leg work in this generation.

It is a real shame. They do have some great talent at their studios but they all seem to be working on huge budget games that will not see the light of day until 8 years after concept.
Just glad there are plenty of Indie games to fill the gaps

I know that they have the new Astro Bot game coning out, but have Sony/PlayStation shown off anything new coming soon? Something to get gamers excited and hopefully forget this disaster.
I am very out of the loop with gaming atm, but I remember a time where we seemed to always know what was coming in the next 6-12 months? I know they shot themselves in the foot a few times by accounting games way to early but they did become better at it.

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare with how long it takes to make games now, I am always amazed that in one generation, Naughty Dog churned out Uncharted 1,2,3 and The Last of Us! We even got 3 Infamous games, 3 Resistance games, 2 Killzone games etc...
You could see the shift starting to happen during the PS4, but Sony had more Studios to fill gaps.

Pretty weak month for me.
Here is hoping the Quidditch game is half decent.
