Easy solution. More people need to support AA developers & Indies that are usually not only more ethical, but also more creative.

If they delayed it further once the future patches were included I might of eventually bought it. But don't see the point buying it on disc if it's in such a poor state.

Don't buy it then until you know what you are getting. (reviews etc)
It's hardly like Rockstar needs the Pre-Order money anyway.

I actually tried replaying it a few months back and then remembered it was based during a pandemic & could be quite a miserable setting. Which put me off as there was enough of that in real life as it is.

Impressive how much content they have given for free over the past couple of years the game has been out.

As others have said I think they are great additions. In the old games I kinda disliked it because you had to stop and read the page when you walked passed landmarks.
Where as in these games you get the narrator to listen to as well as something visual to look at. (People building pots,weapons etc)

Don't know much about shipping. But I expect it will save Sony money shipping thousands of PS5's due to the decrease in weight of the container.

Well there also was American Fugitive that was released a few years ago. That was similar to old style GTA.

It would be cool to see a Vita successor. But would probably make more sense to use their Xperia phones to push out exclusive games.

Rumoured third expansion? Maybe they could in the missing parts of England. Or even add in Wales & Scotland DLC

Interesting. Was hoping they might do do a spiritual successor to Populous but this also looks good.

Don't see a big problem with it providing they, or any other big publisher for that matter continues to provide "quality paid for titles"

As someone else said. GTA online is "Kinda" the modern day PS Home currently. With apartments you can customise and places you can go with others.
Still it would be cool to see a new version. With less of the limitations from 2 generations ago.

Makes sense since Sony has a movie division. Could be like Disney+ but with franchises based on Playstation or other Sony franchises.

As much as I would of liked a Days Gone 2. At least Sony is letting them try again with a new IP. Especially with the amount of sequels we have gotten from the big publishers in recent years. It has all got a little stale.

Sounds like Sony make the PS5 check to make sure a legit game is in the console once an hour.

Wow, So even though they had issues in the last festival. They have messed up this one as well.
Think I am going to give up with Ubisoft titles at this point. They always come out nowadays as grindy,buggy, and full of microtransactions.

Hopefully the DLC has quality over quantity. And doesn't have another 20 regions with hundreds of glowing icons scattered across the map.

I like the way Yakuza does their maps. It's cool seeing how the city changes per game. With new buildings & businesses etc.

Only played 1/3 of it and got bored. That and the voices in the game annoyed me. Some were very stereotypical /annoying, as well as bumping into characters with the exact same voice breaks any immersion for me.

I am surprised they didn't try and do what Amazon do & mix Original programs with rentals.

@BloodNinja Epic might not be going anywhere. But if in a few years time Epic may decide Fall guys is no longer pulling in big numbers. They may very well choose to shut the studio down.

Like what happens with EA, they milk a franchise for all it's worth. And then close the studio down when they have got all they can out of it.

Urghh, why do so many companies that make a successful product have to sell out to massive corporations.

I have no issue with expansions etc of current games. Especially since some of these maps are so huge they have empty areas that could be used for additional story etc.

For a small developer with a small budget. (compared to AAA) I thought what they achieved was pretty good.

Still amazes me how anyone would want to be bought by EA. Time and time again they eventually ruin the developer after a few years.

Ubisoft rubbing their hands at the thought of extra people buying those XP boosts.

I think if they were going to develop the game for the older consoles from the start. Then they should of made the game based on the limitations of the old consoles and worked from there.
If they wanted all the bells and whistles they should of made it next-gen exclusive.

Looks like Valhalla done better than Legion then. It is nearly off the top 10

As someone who uses the PS4 for watching streaming services. A quieter more efficient console is always a good thing in my book.

I could always use a streaming stick but I like the idea of using my console as a all in one device for my media consumption.

Oh no, GTA is back.

Makes sense, they have 3 open-world games out within 6 months that are in some ways quite similar.
Not to mention they all have Expansions/DLC's in the months ahead.

Problem with Watch Dogs is it will always be the same game but in another city. Since what else could you implement without it going way over the top.
At least with Assassin's Creed & somewhat Far Cry. You can make each setting vastly different (e.g time period, weapons, climate/enviroment, Story etc)

Bit of a shame they didn't explore other parts of the UK like Wales & Scotland, or parts of South-west England.
Still, seems good this time around with no mythical worlds etc like in Odyssey

That must be a lot of money spent on games, especially on bad or short ones.
Even if he paid £1 per game. You are looking at £2,687 minimum. (2687 platinums)

I can understand hiding PS3, Vita & PSP content etc, As over the years it has made it a pain to scroll through due to all the old add-ons and avatars cluttering everything up.
I wouldn't hide any of the PS4 content though, that's just way to soon.

Bigger news is GTA has gone.

And that is without season passes included.

Don't see the point in it, if you want a cheaper Xbox that plays current games. Buy the current generation of Xbox

They are most likely going to spend more on advertising the PS5 on Facebook this christmas.
So the money they didn't give to Facebook these last 2 months will be spent then instead.
