@antdickens From UK, and have checked both desktop & mobile. and for me when clicking the link all I get is the same page about adding card details, and nothing about Google pay....strange
Not a bad price tbh. I would subscribe if it was via Paypal. But I do not want to give my bank details to a company I don't use for anything else. So if you increase the range of payment options I would happily subscribe.
Kinda starting to have a slight dislike for Kojima. I liked his MGS games from 1-4. But after that I feel like he has become more arrogant and doesn't take criticism very well. Didn't he even say something along the lines of Americans not being smart enough to understand Death Stranding, or something like that?
I see subscriptions for different publishers a lot more likely. Similar to the situation now with video streaming platforms. Rockstar made a billion from GTA V in just a weekend alone (if memory serves me) So it would be stupid to put their games on Plus for a few mil.
Interesting, in that case I will wait for the complete edition to release. A bit like how I am holding off on fully playing Cyberpunk until the next update comes out that fixes police etc.
I don't mind seeing more AA games like biomutant on PS Plus essential. Since it's usually games I was unsure about so get to try out. That and it not only gives the Devs some revenue. But it also gives the IP a boost so more people might buy the sequel. (If they decide to make one)
While I would give it another go. I am surprised they aren't doing Fallout 76.
Yes I know it's not for everyone. But they are still releasing new content for it, so am just curious why they haven't.
There is nothing wrong with mobile gaming. I know free to play can be bad depending on the game. But there are plenty of paid/premium games to choose from on each store that are great (and quite cheap) Also mobile graphics have come a long way over the past few years, it's just up to devs to utilise it.
Liked SR2 back in the day. But after playing so many Ubisoft games over the years. I would rather avoid the game as I am kinda sick of this style of openworld tbh.
Surprised Ubisoft hasn't released a rip-off of Fortnite yet as a Valhalla expansion. As they seem to be copying everything else into their games rather than innovating.
I enjoyed Origins the most out of the 3. I think what I also like is the fact I can do the base game & the expansions, with most the locations done. In around the 80h mark. (Compared to Odyssey 180h) Done around the 180h mark in Valhalla as well. But can't be bothered with the latest expansion. It's not AC, and I am kinda fatigued by the game tbh.
Is that true you can't use it in the background while gaming? If so, that's slightly pointless putting it on PS5. As you would have to leave your TV on a static screen. May as well use a smartphone or Bluetooth speaker.
Don't blame them. It must be a pain for devs having to work around not only the OG PS4 & Xbox One. But also the enhanced versions as well. Then sometimes they may develop a Switch port adding more headache.
And some people on here were saying a few weeks ago "It's all good, what's the problem with it being always online, You are always online anyway?" Well... here you go.
I have wanted to start from the very beginning of the series again. But thinking how many hours it would take (cause I am kinda a 100% completion person) And the fact the games are a mix of new and old engine throughout the series makes me a bit :s
I don't understand it either. I could understand if they held a number of IP's that brought in a good amount of cash like Bethesda. But instead they seem to be purchasing the "Talent" of the studio. But all it takes is for the people there to leave and move to another company or start their own.

Re: Site News: Love What We Do? Become a Push Square Supporter
@antdickens Where does it mention Google Pay is supported? I don't see it anywhere.

Re: Take-Two Says Layoffs Necessary for 'Another Extended Period of Success'
Perhaps they did and it just isn't mentioned. But I would hope they at least tried to find them other positions in the company before firing them.
Re: The Sims Veteran Teases New Life Simulation Title
The Sims needs competition. Hopefully from a developer that adds more content to the base game rather than separate it into 100+ dlc's.
Re: Assassin's Creed Syndicate Patch Will Finally Fix PS5 Flickering Issue Tomorrow
Wow, that is just lazy. They have known about this problem for years and yet continued to sell it in that state.

Re: Poll: Would You Be Interested in a Detachable PS5 Disc Drive?
Might be a good thing for repairability in the far & near future
Re: PS Plus Essential PS5, PS4 Games for January 2023 Announced
If Bethesda wants to continue supporting Fallout 76 on PlayStation. I hope they release a 60fps patch, or even a PS5 version.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for December 2022?

Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - God of War Special
13 out of 15. not too bad
Re: The Witcher Remake Announced, Rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5
Awesome, I wanted to play 1-3 but I just couldn't get into it being that it's quite dated.
Re: Fallout 4 Gets Free PS5 Update in 2023, Includes Creation Club Content
While I would give it another go. I am surprised they aren't doing Fallout 76.
Yes I know it's not for everyone. But they are still releasing new content for it, so am just curious why they haven't.
Re: New PS5 Firmware Update Available to Download Now
I wish my PS5 would stop spinning up the disc drive nearly every time I open a Media app. Or during every hour in general.
Re: God of War Ragnarok Game Length Is Reportedly Worthy of Jörmungandr Himself
Thanks God it's not 200+ hours like Valhalla.
(Including DLC's)
Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla Teases Next Tombs of the Fallen Update
This game doesn't need any more content. It's big enough as it is.
Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 18
5, I don't play many Japanese titles so that mostly let me down.
Re: Return to Ruined Pittsburgh in Fallout 76's Latest Free Update, Available Now
Still no 60fps though.

Re: Assassin's Creed Mirage Sneaks to PS5, PS4 in 2023, Priced at $50
The feel of it reminds me of Revelations.
Re: The Witcher 3 PS5 Version Still Set for This Year, Says CDPR
@OneWingedAngel Controlling the character is hard to control or slow/sluggish.
Re: Poll: Did You Buy Saints Row?
Liked SR2 back in the day. But after playing so many Ubisoft games over the years. I would rather avoid the game as I am kinda sick of this style of openworld tbh.
Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 14
11 out of 15, not bad.
Re: Next Assassin's Creed Game Delayed, Is Reportedly 'Far Behind Schedule'
is "far behind schedule"
If it is that far behind, I doubt 3 months is going to complete it.
Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla: The Forgotten Saga and Final Story Chapter Announced
Surprised Ubisoft hasn't released a rip-off of Fortnite yet as a Valhalla expansion. As they seem to be copying everything else into their games rather than innovating.
Re: The Next Expansion for Fallout 76 Is Coming in September to PS4, and Season 9 is Now Live
And still no native PS5 version with 60fps.
Re: Filming Concludes on HBO's The Last of Us TV Show
So what service will this be on in the UK? Since we don't have a HBO service here do we?
Re: Hands On: Assassin's Creed Origins PS5 Patch Reminds Us That It's One of the Series' Best Games

Re: BBC Sounds App Brings More Music, Radio, and Podcasts to PS5, Available Now
@huyi Since when? I can remove the app from my console just fine, and I am from the UK with the latest firmware.

Re: Sony Reveals Vision for the Metaverse
I do think a PS5 PS Home could work much better though.
On PS3 it was held back by what the hardware was capable with at the time.
Re: Gotham Knights' PS4 Version Has Been Cancelled
Don't blame them. It must be a pain for devs having to work around not only the OG PS4 & Xbox One. But also the enhanced versions as well. Then sometimes they may develop a Switch port adding more headache.
Re: PS Plus Premium Demo Requirement Puzzling Publishers, Devs
It may make some of the big gaming studios release a polished game once people can try before they buy.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Expansion Aiming for 2023 Release, Details Dropping Later This Year
That's good, might get the complete edition when everything gets released & patched.
Re: Rust Developer Signed Up to Create More Fallout 76 Content
Was interested in playing it again with all the updates included. But if there is no PS5 version. I won't be playing it.
Re: GTA Online Adding Paid, Monthly Subscription on PS5
Or if you have Amazon Prime, just go on Twitch and collect the monthly $400,000 on there.
Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 5
10, which isn't bad for a few guesses. If there wasn't as many Japanese game questions. It would probably be higher as I don't play many of them.

Well... here you go.

Re: UK Sales Charts: 80% of Elden Ring's Boxed Sales on PS5, PS4
Is there going to be a GTA V PS5 retail version? I cant seem to find any online.
Re: The Wolf Among Us 2 Shows Its Fangs on PS5, PS4 in 2023
So long as all the content is included on the disc & it's priced fairly, I am all in.
Re: Microsoft Says Call of Duty and Activision Games Will Keep Releasing on PlayStation Beyond Current Deals
Maybe Sony is paying Microsoft a small amount to keep it on the platform. Bit like where they pay Activision for exclusive content.
Re: UK Sales Charts: Dying Light 2 Sells Best on PS5, But Misses Top Spot
Wait til next month. GTA will be back at number 1.
Provided they release a physical version. Which I cant see anywhere yet.
Re: Sony 'Vastly Overpaid' in 'Desperation' for Bungie, Says Outspoken Analyst Michael Pachter
And they only paid $229M for Insomniac. Which with Spiderman they probably made that back in a few months.
Re: Sony 'Vastly Overpaid' in 'Desperation' for Bungie, Says Outspoken Analyst Michael Pachter
I don't understand it either. I could understand if they held a number of IP's that brought in a good amount of cash like Bethesda.

Re: Sony Buys Ex-Halo, Destiny Developer Bungie for $3.6 Billion
A lot cheaper than Activision. But besides Destiny, what other IP's do they own? As to me they probably still paid over the odds.
Re: Saints Row Grabs an Explosive New Gameplay Trailer
Looks 10x better than the original trailer.
Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla Update 1.4.1 Makes You Redownload the Game, Offers Improved Performance Across the Board
Perhaps part of it is because it removes all the festival content from the game since it has already passed etc.
