Good game to have remastered as it’s very expensive, one of the only ps1 games not to work on a ps2 at least in the Americas. And don't emulate well on most ps3s. My ps1 is still hooked up to a crt but ill still buy it for ps5, but right now i want to play the new Astro Bot

@GymratAmarillo The PS5 is quicker to develop for as stated by Mark Cerny during the dev conference before PS5’s release. Also the usage of AI in current game development would help greatly also. They may be a small studio so i wouldn’t expect an announcement until summer 2025 at a minimum. Sony learned their lesson about revealing too early. Hopefully Bethesda learned that lesson also…
A studio like Insomniac and Naughty Dog are huge thats how Insomniac can pump games out so quickly. Not sure why Naughty Dog has stayed quiet but probably because they would rather announce a game close to release like the 90s.

Yep take all the EA owned devs who made great games alone in the past and force to them to work on garbage. Reason why lots of people left EA owned devs, cant make anything worth making. Just chasing a genre that has no individual longevity.

I was like 20 when i played ES5 at midnight 11/11/11. I’ll probably be 40 by the time we get an ES6 gameplay trailer.

Offline the game is a blast as it always was. Offline multiplayer will always be better than online. We still have Goldeneye parties a couple nights a month. Along with the original Battlefront. Crazy to play the same game for 28 or so years, talking about Goldeneye

@nyr2k2 It feels mostly the same since MLB 07 on PS3. And thats not a bad thing really. Dont fix what aint broke but its nice to upgrade the engine. Just way to colorful and cartoony for the past 15+ years.

I never played GTA 5 online but you will be surprised if you see how many people still play it online. I think last time they had numbers last year it was higher than the current Call of Duty games.

@Nepp67 They write better Marvel stories than Disney can, they will sell. Other Marvel games never sold well. Not even sure if Wolverine will unless it has some paradigm shifting gameplay. Spiderman has always just been the go to for Marvel along with Batman for DC. You can see how the recent Marvel games have flopped big time. Maybe Ironman will do well.

@Nepp67 Not really. They went from Ratchet and Clank PS4 reboot to Spiderman to Stormland to Miles Morales to Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart to Spiderman 2. Pretty even and steady. They are huge now and likely have different games in development at once. And the best part is, they are mostly single player platformer games the 3d and hd era has come to love.

@lexveem It made me think my PS5 was on the fritz. Almost felt like playing a pc game on ultra when your pc can barely play it on medium. I put it back to normal and i was like oh must just be the 24fps cinematic mode.

Seeing how take 2 claims it will make over 8 Billion $$ in fiscal year 2025 net bookings. I dont think the wait is long. April 2024 to March 2025 is fiscal year 2025. Could be an early 2025 launch. Which is only a little over a year away. My prediction, SPRING BREAK 2025. Vice City style.

Well thats incorrect. Even when i was a kid i just wanted money. But it was so i could buy the game i wanted. Even as a parent now i wont buy them games because idk what they played already since there are so many games on the subs. Ill just give them a gamestop or walmart giftcard in their stocking along with whatever else.

Linus tech tips channel showed that the disc drive has more capability then the standard ps5. Where as the ps5 disc drive didn't have the hardware for audio cd format then new disc drive does and more. They wondering why Sony included the added capabilities if they wont use them for anything. Or maybe they will. Thats why i like them. The cut to the chase and tear it down and see if it can run a ps1 format. And it looks to have the hardware on the disc drive to do so. Maybe a future update can enable it

I have gigabit internet and even in my house remote play on my ipad pro and on my other devices had horrible input lag. Does this thing have input lag? Ive only used the official apps on my devices

@NinjaNicky I played it through entirely when it came out on ps3 but never played it since. I remember i liked it alot. Thought it was cool for a open world rockstar game to have fully licensed cars. Some of the crimes still haunt me to this day. And i remember hating the mission where you are navigating through the flood/water area where Cole. Uh. Yea

@MattBoothDev You know how much they made from Gta online alone? Enough that this game has potential to be industry changing once again. Yea i never liked gta online but you cant argue the fact the money didnt go back into the business to make better future titles. RDR2 might not of been as great without gta online profits

@NinjaNicky How can you have a good sequel if he is dead. Thats around the time when Rockstar started killing its main protagonists. RDR killed John, La Noire killed Cole and GTA 4 and 5 had choices but at least GTA 5 had the third choice of no main character dying. Oh spoiler alert

Take 2, Rockstar’s parent was on actual news networks stating they are expecting 8 billion dollars (murica), in net bookings for fiscal year 2025 which is from April 2024-March 2025. So do you think a WWE game or an NBA game will earn them 8 billion next year. I doubt Mafia franchise would get 100 million. Wonder what franchise would get them to 8 billion… lol

Yea im not sure what this game will actually be. Rockstar has lost lots of the people who were the masterminds behind the series since the Ps2. And a couple of those people were literally the people that made gta what it is today. Rd2 had a great engine and story telling without those people so anything can happen.

Man i remember the day the gta5 announce trailer was released and ign did the trailer rewind long frame by frame breakdown. Over 12 years ago now

Got it in the mail today and got the disc installed and update. And then left for work. Once im home ill be playing it with 5 oclock shadow

My coil whine got pretty loud when playing. I’ll have to see some reviews when it comes out about coil whine. Then maybe. Used to only hear it when you put your ear up to the system. Now it’s pretty loud and pitch changes while scrolling around Spiderman map.

I usually get my amazon day 1 games a couple days early. Hope i get it early again lol, may have to take off work to platinum it. I feel a sickness coming, it may come on slow till the week of the 20th.
