Every store near me including gamestop and target have had ps5s in stock for at least a month. Glad the shortage ended in my area at least. Last month was the first time i seen multiple in stock with no one around them. It is a 2 year old console soon. Getting old

If your waiting to play god of war. Just dont look at anything online about it before you play it. That easy. These sites aint posting spoilers in the articles or titles. Its if you read comments

I stopped following ign and gamespot reviews. Mostly gamespot because the girl gave spongebob battle for bikini bottom rehydrated a 2/10 because it was to hard. Yet it was because of a simple game mechanic thats part of the game. Face palmed so hard i gave up with them. And once i found out through a close friend that did freelance work for ign that all reviews are paid for their results. I gave up with them.

I follow a website tracking page that you can put in the direct link and it shows a lot of traffic to the page recently but most of it is refresh bots. Really sad. Just make them in store exclusive. I remember getting my ps2 in person on launch night in usa, bunch of animals lol. Those were the days…

New tracks are never teased, they are wait and see day of the update. Every other month has been a new track so this one should be a new track also

I beat the main story pretty quick and didnt do much of the side quests but i havent played it since a few weeks past launch. That sucks if it still plays like that with the 60fps RT mode. Ill get back into it once i see more of the new spiderman as i loved both of them and need to replay Spiderman soon

@Titntin after updates the console and games got better, astro game never really had issues. Spiderman mile morales and dirt 5 and bugsnax had a lot of issues while playing through. Havent had any issues i can think of in a while. Also im in Murica lol so maybe we had more issues on console, i know a few friends had issues within first week like the console shutting down all the time while playing games. Never happened to me but just to name one. I love this generation more than the past 2, just need to get to the ps1 days where games and sequels were coming out 18 months or less. Mark Cerny has the dev tech to help games be made faster and i hope with the new ai tech and dev help, and cloud tech the games can rollout quick. Covid hurt the industry, and effects are still felt

Cant be as worse as having a day 1 ps5. It would crash non stop and every launch game for a few months would crash hard all the time. So for a few in game crashes that will be patched either day 1 or soon, should be fine and not nearly as much as we have seen in the past. At least its quick to get back into games when they crash and we can report videos and comments with our crashes to help devs

Heavy rain remake maybe? Hey ill buy it again for the ps5. Maybe a new wipeout running 120fps. And i thought the 60fps version at full speed drove me nuts haha

Go ahead, make call of duty exclusive to microsoft. That means i can get a free trial to game pass and play it free day 1 on pc. Till i get bored of it.

Playing the game when it first came out, i liked just using the tazer till enemies caught on fire. Also i think if you tazer a light on a lightpole the light goes out. That was one of the realest things to me on console back in 97 or so lol

@Colletes im pretty sure USA got the 60hz versions now. Most ps1 and ps2 games were “60fps” to begin with. Well alot do, i know it aint “most” but it surely is alot of the games worth playing

Yea thats what i did. I was there lol. Had genesis since usa release. Got the 32x christmas of 94. When ps1 came out i got it shortly after release. Never turned back to sega. I loved sonic but hearing of no sonic game on Saturn, I decided not to get one. It was sad seeing it just become nothing. My local toysrus had a huge sweet tooth head on the floor in the game aisle. Twisted Metal was huge and i had them all up to the ps3 release. Never played the ps3 one. I think Black and 3 are my favorite, mostly 3 because of the soundtrack.
Never got the Dreamcast, i wanted it but a friend had it so i played all the great games without owning it. Saved up for ps2 and got the gt3 bundle. I hope Sega comes back around one day. Something needs to save console gaming imo. Nintendo is the only one still using the standard ways. Sucks paying out for games. But you know they are mostly great. About nintendo and playstation exclusives are the only games worth full price anymore

Id bet there is a tie in game set to release with the show. You cant just make a show about a video game from generations ago without a new game being made to experience. Same with last of us remake and the show. Anytime there has been a show about a game, the game was recently released.

@Sil_Am No its not. I dont think an Xbox ever outsold Playstation in USA by total units. So how is it “dominated” by a brand that has no exclusives on their new system, hence no reason to buy it?

Ps5 still has more consoles in USA then Xbox despite losing monthly sales lead for a year

Why give games away for nearly free. I dont mind paying 60-70$ day 1 for the game like ive been doing for nearly 30 years. Buy the game, the dev gets money to make more. Its how it works. What exclusive games does XS even have anyway? Most if not all are on PC. So when Blinx came out nearly 20 years ago. How did i buy it? Was it on pc? No. I had to buy it to play it on Xbox Whats wrong with this system? Greedy customers, made by Microsoft game pass….

@Enigk At this point yes. Lots of GTA talent was lost, the person behind GTA itself is not there. It will sell huge the first week and beyond if its good. If its a flop it will still beat records. But only during launch week.
I mean really thats not true anyway. All they have to do is make a new map and online only. No story. Just new map and normal missions and it will be the new best all time seller. Fairly quick

You keep missing Grid Legends. Its plays default at locked 120fps when 120fps capable tv is being used

Play 120fps game for a bit like grid legends and then go play a 60fps game like gt7. You can tell a difference. Gt7 at 60fps will be boringly slow. Most games at 120fps on ps5 has less visuals on screen also. I think dirt has no spectators at 120mode. 120fps on doom eternal gets your heart rate up quick and its hard to fall asleep after slaying in 120fps

New Crash game broke my brain. Its already difficult to make the jumps and get away from enemies. Then they go and have you switch dimensions on the fly. Too much for my brain anymore. Its awesome but im not the age i was in 1995 lol

Finally a reason to get back on and play. I remember when the first crew had its visual update and made it look even better

Sonys fault. Want to sell consoles. You need to make them first. Its not like they are sitting on a boat somewhere. They haven’t been made yet. All they need to do is sell them themselves on their site by real people as a PO system. Then no bots can buy them because AI is not controlling it like every other site.

When the 860 pro came out i installed it in my ps3. Along with a reflow and resoldered the gpu. Still the best console for all ps1,ps2 and ps3 but you gotta care for it like a car lol

Why not just use the playstation classic as an emulator. It does real well, even with n64 games.

Its not for us, its not really for them. Xbox buying devs is not to have exclusives for them.
Companies like Apple and Facebook and Google are wanting to buy these large devs and lock them to their make believe platform. It will destroy the gaming world. So Sony and Xbox buying these companies is a joint venture to save console gaming

Well with the way media was matured to be in someones hand or pocket 24/7. There is really no need for these conventions anymore tbh. Back in the 90s you needed these conventions and magazine articles to really know what was happening as gaming was still “a kids toy”. Now its a normal media force, why spend money on conventions when you have these reporting website for news daily and sites like vgleaks for speculative daily news.

Sucks to pay full price for a game but its how it works.

Yea my little brother plays on pc and his xbox series s with the new controller and its very loud. I get on him all the time about it. He is Xbox, ive always been Playstation

I love the dual sense more than the ds4. Thought i wouldnt at first because its a tad heavier and battery dies more quick. Love the haptics, dont care much for the adaptive triggers. Just hurts your hand. But the dual sense beating the gamecube controller. Man i dont know. I would of taken the gamecube controller. It just fits perfect and has no input lag…

Yes that was not cool. I hope they learn from this but i feel its from Playstation management that pressured PD into doing it. Not a good start to this console gen. Dont fix what aint broke. Ps4 console gen sony hit everything just right

@get2sammyb those 2 paragraphs about review bombs and online issues were not planned “ages” ago. Review bombing just happened recently for an example. The game can be fixed. Give PD a chance
