It goes without saying that Insomniac Games doesn't want Marvel's Spider-Man 2 spoilers to appear online when we're just weeks away from release. At the time of writing this article, we don't think there have been any major leaks, but as we all know by now, you can never be too careful. Pre-launch spoilers for big games are fairly common these days — often because of broken retail release dates — and no developer wants to see its hard work be picked apart.
And it actually sounds like there'll be plenty to unravel in the Spidey sequel. "We worked hard to craft a story PACKED with surprises," writes the PlayStation Studio on Twitter. "So tread carefully and be mindful of posting spoilers. Let's #BeGreaterTogether: please keep the adventure fresh for everyone!"
It's obviously a nice message, but the reality is that only you can prevent spoilers. So as always, caution is the order of the day — especially as we're now rushing towards the 20th October launch date. Hopefully things stay quiet over the next couple of weeks.

It really is so difficult to dodge spoilers though. If one is a patient gamer then it's only a matter of time before a game gets spoiled for you. It hurts the most when it pops out of nowhere as well.

I managed to avoid The Last of Us Part II spoilers for 2 months. I think I'll be okay avoiding spoilers for the next 3 weeks.

@homelesscretin I like reading spoilers though, even for movies. It's nice to know what happens and what's in the game or movie so I know if it's worth me getting it/seeing it or not. The trailer and teaser in itself is kind of a spoiler. If we hadn't been given a trailer etc, we wouldn't have known what enemies were in the game, we wouldn't know about playing as both Spidermen etc.
I fully think Peter will become venom in this game. The symbiote powers are too fleshed out to be a short lived thing

I usually get my amazon day 1 games a couple days early. Hope i get it early again lol, may have to take off work to platinum it. I feel a sickness coming, it may come on slow till the week of the 20th.
