Has anyone managed to test if the G29 wheel works with the PS5? Sorry if this has been mentioned but haven't seen it announced.

There should have been an option for none. How many of those games would I purchase for £70..... yes none of them.

Clearly I am a robot as haven't managed to get past the first screen yet! Update - I'm not a robot now and have entered my serial number but getting sick of identifying traffic lights, chimneys and cross walks .... sigh.

I stopped playing street fighter on ps plus from the other month as it kept advertising the same up and coming tournament. So bloody annoying.

@AdamNovice totally agree, I was gutted to read no DLC for squadrons. Screaming out for more missions and experiences from past star wars films. Snow speeder taking out ATAT, or the trench run.

With all these promises of no load times I am going to miss those little creative animated load logos.

@SirAngry totally agree, EA are clueless! What about additional content (paid) allowing you attack the death star and do the trench run at the end of New hope. Fly the millennium falcon on Jakku etc. So many more examples and potential here. Depressing really.

He has done a really excellent job and puts all those themed PS4 consoles released to shame. Give this guy a job.

I don't want any cable(s) coming out of the front of the console and ruining the sleak lines. Rather have 4 usb slots on the back.

@get2sammyb forgive me I don't understand. I own the PlayStation platinum headset and connect via Bluetooth on PS4. So this won't work unless I connect via USB or into the controller? So the Bluetooth dongle won't work?

I haven't completed the game yet but one thing I kept thinking was, I so want to fly down the trench like the end of Star Wars - New Hope and destroy the death star. I know the timeline wouldn't fit but O MAN that would be an experience!

@BionicDodo Yeah loads more fun than the battlefront experience, more ships, levels ... just ace and find the score a little low imho.

It is a childhood dream to be able to fly an X-Wing and Tie fighter zipping past a Star Destroyer. A great experience much like holding a light saber and facing Vader in Vader immortals. I think this is well worth the money and I haven't had to dust off my PSVR TBH. RE7 is an incredible experience I agree but I would also add Astro Bot.

One of the disappointing things for me was the cut scenes take you out of VR and into this cinematic 2d cut scene which dampens the experience a touch.

With all the info on Ratchet and Clank I was hoping this would be a day 1 release .

The lad on the right won't have time for much crime fighting as he will be learning his Times tables and sucking on his mums breast. He looks too young.

Despite this news I am still picking up my copy of Star Wars Squadrons from Smyths on Friday for £5 less than elsewhere. Whoop

Always looked great but beyond that rather ordinary games in my experience. All well and good pushing gaming technology to its very limit, let's put the same amount of effort with the gameplay.

I have a PS5 on pre order and currently I'm not committed to purchasing any games on day of release which is a real shame. I do have a real problem with a price of £70 and the only one on my radar at that price is God of war Ragnarok.

I'll wait till it's £1.50 unless the reviews are good and will bite at £2.

@Ridwaano I pre ordered my controller a Smyths for £49. It's now gone up to 59 in line with everyone else.

Imported mine from Japan because i couldn't wait for Euro release, thankfully those days have passed now.

Playing RE7 in VR is one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had in over 35 years.

@Udy No my update failed and had to connect controller via usb etc. All back up and running now thankfully. Disc drive works fine. Sorry to hear about your difficulties.

Mine screwed up! I had to boot my PS4 into safe mode and installed the update from a USB drive in the end. NOT HAPPY.

Wish they would put all usb ports around the back of the console. X4 would be nice

Missed this game in the news for some reason, looks very nice indeed. I do enjoy a good 2D shooter.

Hopefully this will give them the green light for Titanfall 3.

@tweakin_frostyz I'm not boycotting the game entirely because of this practice. I find the series pretty dull, boring and crap tbh, that's the main reason. I understand I dont need to pay along with it and won't.

Thank goodness there are plenty of other games out there to play that don't contain this kind of practice. If they did I think my gaming days would be over.

Stunning game and one of the best, if not greatest FPS titles ever released.

Just imagine what could have been achieved if the Star Wars Jedi Fallen license was given to Santa Monica Studio Or Naughty Dog?

I personally blame lazy programming and optimisation on the part of the developer!! The rear view mirror by default is turned off!!! When I turned it on because I thought it would be useful the performance was sluggish at best.

Wallet is well and truly closed. This kind of practice irritates the hell out of me.

I just dont want to be constantly reminded about photosensitvity epilepsy all the friggin time I boot up. Option to accept and never ever be seen again would be a welcome menu option.

@Homo-Ludens I think my expectations were too high tbh. I didn't pick it up on day of release and I always read how many awards it had won, high review scores etc. etc. Just wasn't my cup of tea gameplay wise but admired the look of the release.
