Still interested for sure but they have taken far too long to release this. RE7 is one of the best gaming experiences in 30 plus years of gaming and all in VR. Never bothered with dlc as not all be compatible with VR which is a real shame.
@hYdeks that's the issue for me as well. They have proved with the likes of Farpoint and RE7 etc. That moving around an FPS environment is achievable the traditional way so why not do it? Forget about feeling sick and just offer two methods of movement. Unfortunately for me this teleportation movement just doesn't work and dilutes the gaming experience. Unless this changes it's a no from me which I'm gutted about . Doom VFR could have been amazing.
Looks impressive and I enjoyed the original a great deal. Just hearing all this negative information about boxes makes me nervous so I was a day 1 purchase but not anymore. Shadow of Mordor surprised a lot of people and became a very accomplished game which for many was as a surprise. This time all eyes are on Shadow of War and it seems to be getting bad press and the company seem to be getting greedy which may be their undoing.
I enjoyed the first one a great deal but now they have forced me to wait till after release with this news. I am interested to know how this change will ultimately impact the game.
I hope they fix these issues. I am at a loss as to why they would release it with niggling play mechanics. I'll wait and see if they release a patch to sort before committing.
@ShogunRok gaming sites seemed to have driven much of the disappointment for me. Using words like lacklustre etc. I enjoyed E3 and for me many get caught up in the hype and ready themselves for a fall.
@stevejcrow I just think they are the best company for making games and would sell millions more on ps4 and Xbox consoles. 60 + million potential ps4 customers and a few on Xbox.
Competition is always great but Nintendo are not taking on PS4. Nintendo should just stop making consoles and do what they do best ... produce software. This would be released on Xbox and PS4. 4k Mario kart multiplayer and be able to talk to people like proper grown ups.
Looks interesting but would prefer the cars not to be raced around in a groove. Cool feature when you look under water but would be nice if drops of water slide down the VR visor as lifted your head out of the water. Not too sure on the longevity of this title.
DooM in VR? Oh Jesus I cannot wait for that. FARPOINT proved that a fps game can work well within a VR environment. Pretty damn excited for this as the single player campaign from Doom was pretty stunning.
I need for speed payback didn't look too different from rivals. Too scripted for me on the clips we have seen so far. Battlefront 2. On the surface it didn't look too different from the 1st one. Watching a load of people in MP wasn't the best way to show the game imho. Seeing something from the campaign mode would have been nice.
@get2sammyb the launch lineup was strong for sure but the battle for handheld superiority is a race not a sprint. There are some great titles but I haven't bought anything for the VITA for sometime. I keep hearing of PS4 releases daily and nothing decent for the Vita in the last few years. I would expect Sony to make more announcements for forth coming Vita games.
@SegaBlueSky yes agreed. Farpoint clearly shows FPS games will work within a VR environment. Battlefront, imagine being a storm trooper running down corridors. Whooooaaa
@shafedog247 COOP MODE is intense and loads of fun. I spent 5 hrs playing many coop levels and it was just a great, fun experience. The sniper rifle and shotgun is a great combo.
Tip: I thought the game had locked up a few times during play. We were wandering around looking for a way out only I found a very small spider hiding behind a rock. Once he was killed this a new wave of monsters came so all good. This did happen a few times.
@get2sammyb Totally agree, one of the best gaming experiences I have had the pleasure of in 35 years of gaming. Considering that PSVR is only about 7 months old there has been plenty of decent titles released as well as showing loads of potential.
Saying RE7 is incredibly bad is surprising but each to their own.
@Ralizah I'm only guessing because Until dawn has dual wielding guns? I guess you could have VR aim controller in one hand, a move controller in the other to wield a knife for throwing and close range attacks. That would be quite cool.
I aim (sorry) to get Farpoint and the pew pew stick on day one.
Hopefully it wont go the way of some previous Sony accessories, but if it does then I can always dismantle it and do a spot of plumbing/pipe work that needs completing under the sink.
Used to love playing NBA Jam in the arcades so bought this. Impressed with the game I just hope future patches will iron out some of the small issues here and there.

Re: SUPERHOT Slows Time on PS4, PlayStation VR on 19th July
Hmmm hope this doesn't become the trend. Would prefer just to purchase 1 version.

Great news.
Re: Spider-Man's Swinging Is Completely Skill-Based
@Quintumply Sorry never played the the other games but thanks for letting me know.
Re: Spider-Man's Swinging Is Completely Skill-Based

Re: E3 2017: DOOM: VFR is Coming to PlayStation VR This Year
@Totaldude911 I hope they include that option. I have played Farpoint with no issues so fingers crossed they include optional movement choices.
Re: E3 2017: DOOM: VFR is Coming to PlayStation VR This Year
@adf86 100% agree. Devastating news on the movement side of things.
Re: E3 2017: DOOM: VFR is Coming to PlayStation VR This Year
@Totaldude911 oh dear disaster. I want to run round like a normal player within a VR environment. That warping has just ruined it for me.

Re: E3 2017: SUPERHOT VR Slows Time on PlayStation VR This Summer
Yeah bring it on
Re: E3 2017: DOOM: VFR is Coming to PlayStation VR This Year
@Rudy_Manchego aim controller option is a must.

Re: UK Sales Charts: WipEout Omega Collection Earns an Elite Pass
No my mind hasnt been blown but Wipeout was set at a reasonable price as well I think.
Re: E3 2017: EA Gives PS4 Players Free Access to Five Games Until 18th June
@carlos82 100% worth it. One of the best games I have ever played. Stunning achievement.

Re: Talking Point: Did the EA Play 2017 Press Conference Impress You?
Pretty substandard tbh.
Re: Sony's Erecting an Enormous God of War Mural for E3 2017
I like it when the company Monkey flops one out each year. Looks an impressive display.
Re: Death Stranding Won't Be At E3 2017 According to Hideo Kojima
If he is fully focused on development then I would expect that he wouldn't have time to cut a trailer.

Re: Sony Believes PlayStation Vita Is Still a Viable System
If they made decent games for the Vita people would buy them... simple. I enjoy portable gaming and they just didn't support it enough.
Re: PS4 Pro Selling 'Way Ahead of Expectations', Says Sony
Yeah well chuffed with the ps4 pro after owning the ps4 since release. Just enhances the experience and loving 4K.
Re: The Persistence Is Dead Space for PlayStation VR
Too early to tell and I do remember Farpoint offering a lot more closer to launch. Hopefully this will do the same.
Re: Rumour: God of War Maker Working on Major PlayStation VR Title
There is huge potential in VR and would love to see this realised more in full games. Looking forward to E3 announcements. Whoop
Re: UK Sales Charts: PlayStation VR Exclusive Farpoint Shoots Up Second
Great news just hope they bring out some other missions and more coop levels in the near future.
Re: Hardware Review: PlayStation VR Aim Controller - Straight Shootin'
@Eternallover21 agreed because the sniping element in Farpoint is a lot of fun.

Re: Ex-Fable Chief Joins Sony to Lead AAA PlayStation VR Projects
Agreed there is so much potential with London Heist.
Re: NBA Playgrounds Slam Dunks PS4 on 9th May
Used to love NBA Jam in the arcades. Good for a few games here and there but nothing too serious, may wait till it's on sale.
Re: Everyone Is Talking About Alien Isolation 2
@Bluetrain7 agreed.
Re: Guide: May 2017 PS4 Games Release Dates
Farpoint PSVR for me. Fingers crossed it doesn't stink.
Re: Resident Evil 7's Free DLC Goes into Hiding Until Later Date
Just do it right so I'm ok with it. RE7 is an amazing game so would be a shame adding additional content which would dilute the experience.
Re: Review: Full Throttle Remastered (PS4)
@themcnoisy yeah totally agree. When I played the original I was shocked how quickly it was over. Will avoid.
