All these kiddies whining "PS4 has no games" probably aren't old enough to have lived through a real drought.

They must have the attention-span of ants to think it's a good idea for a console-maker to fire every gun they have at once (like the Xbox One did).

Hope they show off some more games for it. Something to convince at least a few doubters.

Guess I get to check out this series to see what all the hullabaloo is about. I'm sure it'll be at least somewhat overrated (like every other game of the decade).

This article feels very Chicken Little to me. As long as the machine is still flying off the shelves, we don't have to worry about how well a remaster is going to do; it'll perform exactly as well as any remaster performs (maybe better with all that critical praise it got).

And to repeat an oft-repeated phrase regarding the opening to any generation: it's a marathon, not a race. Even a few great games like Second Son is good enough to tide the system over. Great games will definitely arrive, the wait will only improve them, and the promise alone of their arrival can get at least a few folks off the fence. Blasting all your cannons at once when it isn't called for is the only fatal mistake Sony can make in this battle. In the end, only the few gamers with the attention-span of a goldfish should really be angry about them not doing so (and they don't make up the buying majority nor do they reflect the attitudes of the community).

As long as the 1000+ songs I downloaded are compatible in some way.

@DaftPlayStation Nintendo pretty much slaughtered Sega overall. They held a pretty strong market-share in the U.S, but they couldn't maintain it for longer than a generation, and never really left the underdog space. If anything, it was the media who really played up the scale of that particular console war, making Sega out to be some kind of threat.

It was the PS2 who dealt the killing blow to Sega in the end. Sounds pretty anticlimactic to me. Hardware makers always die with a whimper, not a grand finish. Trying to turn a business rivalry into something more epic than it really was is stupid.

Most people voting for Kratos likely either haven't haven't played a DMC, or didn't play it very well.
