This was barely a thing on Xbox 360 years ago so I'm not sure why they bothered. People only ever used it to send negative reviews to other people and then after a while nobody bothered doing even that.

I don’t think the upgrade is worth it, so I won’t buy it. I didn’t think the Ghost of Tsushima upgrade was worth it it either, and that was only 10 quid.

Iam8bit have stated that it’ll be receiving a regular retail release as well, including in Europe so hold fire unless you want the extras.

I’m totally onboard if this plays out.

There's nothing more off putting then knowing a game is constantly trying to drain money out of you.

Some people want the PS5 version on a disc. I know I did.

I got the PS5 Uncharted collection from gamecollection this morning for under £20 using some accumulated points to knock a few quid off the price.

Are all decent and often cheapest in the UK.

I usually just type the name of any game I'm looking for into google shopping though and that works pretty well.

I got the PS5 version sealed for £44 back in March off eBay. There were several available from different sellers so I can only assume they were sold by people that got it as part of a console bundle and didn't want it.

I get the impression this is just going to be Now all over again, but with the addition of some PS5 titles. Until they start showing the goods, I can’t see how anybody could be excited for this.

I’m sure we’ll all be back in a years time when they announce the servers are closing.

This is the real reason the game is always online. They don’t want you cheating money, they want you paying for it.

They should keep it up as long as possible because preservation matters. If they made the old systems backwards compatible on PS5, people would be more accepting of it. Same goes for Nintendo. People want to be able to play the games for generations to come, when they feel like it and replacing the ability to buy the games with a subscription that they can deny access to whenever they feel like it isn’t a solution.

So this is just another patch and not the native PS5 version?

The lack of a PS4 version on the initial release went down like a wet fart considering Japan got one. Glad we’re getting all the dlc included too.

I would have been all over this but I’ve never played the original. If they had ported it to the PS4, I would have played it and this one.

And yes, purchasing a PC to play a game IS a "problem". I've used Mac since 2010 for music production and the thought of going back to Windows is disgusting, and that's the last I'll say on the matter because this is going off topic. @IonMagi Ah I see, that’s the version that’s supposed to come with both versions in one set.

I would have thought it would make more sense to have a PS4 disc that would let you upgrade to the PS5 version for free, but this would allow somebody to essentially get the PS5 game disc and sell off the PS4 code to recoup costs? Pretty sure they didn’t intend that to be the case.

I thought the show was decent. I couldn't believe they showed GTA5 and Deathloop again, but it is what it is. Plenty made up for it. I think Its a stronger lineup than anything the competition showed at E3.

Ubisoft are the epitome of beige, bland, tedious, AAA gaming. What else did you expect?

Can I have a version of GTA 5 without it being infested with GTA Online?
