Re: Final Fantasy 16 Producer Knows That Its Combat System Won't Satisfy Everyone

TripleKing333

I’m all in on this game regardless. But the whole ‘nobody likes turn based combat anymore’ excuse is ridiculous. Pokémon has a new release every year and sells million each time. It’s turn based menu combat and it’s more popular than FF by miles. Like I said, I’m all in of FF16 anyway. I’m not a ‘turn based or death’ kind of guy at all, I like both. But the excuse is daft man.

Re: Sony Sounds Shook by Xbox's Activision Buyout, Says Call of Duty Has No Rival

TripleKing333

Sony has more than enough talent and resources to make an fps to rival CoD. Considering CoD barely even try anymore. If the game is good enough, it’ll sell consoles on its own and it would reap all the profits from a wholly owned franchise being exclusive to the platform. I personally wouldn’t play it, because it would be live service garb that’ll degenerate into a memberberries skin factory like most modern shooters.

I miss the old model of map packs for year and then we all move on to something else but gotta get that “reoccurrant user spending” money, obviously.

Re: Could PS3, PS Vita Closures Be on the Cards After Wii U, 3DS Announcements?

TripleKing333

They should keep it up as long as possible because preservation matters. If they made the old systems backwards compatible on PS5, people would be more accepting of it. Same goes for Nintendo. People want to be able to play the games for generations to come, when they feel like it and replacing the ability to buy the games with a subscription that they can deny access to whenever they feel like it isn’t a solution.

Re: Falcom Aware of Overseas Demand for New Trails Game Kuro no Kiseki, Mentions Potential PS5 Version

TripleKing333

Haha, your hostility over me wanting to support Falcom by buying a game is hilarious. We get it. You're the Alpha Nerd Gatekeeper. You are so much cooler for knowing about this series before me, well done you. Pat on the back, here's a medal.

It's not "ignoring" something if you are completely unaware of its existence at that point in time.

And yes, purchasing a PC to play a game IS a "problem". I've used Mac since 2010 for music production and the thought of going back to Windows is disgusting, and that's the last I'll say on the matter because this is going off topic. I'm sure you'll reply to have the last word, but don't bother. I won't be reading it.

Re: Gran Turismo 7 Pre-Orders Go Live on PS Store, 25th Anniversary Edition Detailed

TripleKing333

@IonMagi Ah I see, that’s the version that’s supposed to come with both versions in one set.

I would have thought it would make more sense to have a PS4 disc that would let you upgrade to the PS5 version for free, but this would allow somebody to essentially get the PS5 game disc and sell off the PS4 code to recoup costs? Pretty sure they didn’t intend that to be the case.
