The Rebirth plat was an ordeal. And I say that as a hardcore trophy hunter. I’ve got the platinum trophy in DMC5, and Rebirth was more stressful by far.

Legends was the perfect length. Played it for a few weeks, got all the trophies and moved on. That’s what I want from a multiplayer mode in a single player game.

So like Guilty Gear Strive. I’ll probably not bother then.

The game will find its market or it won’t. Guess we’ll see when the sale figures come in wether it worked or not.

Played this on 3DS years ago and honestly didn’t gel with it. The last 2/3rds of the game felt pretty insulting.

So, put the release date out with 0 fanfare, to try and divert away from the mauling they are getting on social media. Got it.

Personally, CoD peaked at CoD 4. The SAS storyline was brilliant and nothing I’ve played from the series after has got close to touching it.

Well said. This is inexcusable. As far as I can tell there was no indication from retailers or Bethesda/Microsoft that this was the situation with the Doom disc until people got the disc early and leaked the information out.

The Indiana Jones situation could have been excused as them being cheap (not for me, it was inexcusable). This however is just Microsoft being malicious. The game would have fit on a single disc that they have already paid for. They made it ***** deliberately, and they will no doubt make the Tony Hawk 3+4 and Outer Wilds 2 discs with no data deliberately.

Between the lack of, or worthless physical releases they’ve put out this year, I estimate Xbox have lost out on a fair chunk of money out of me. Shame, I was really looking forward to Doom but I’ll live without it.

Apparently the ps5 version has 85mb of data on the disc. Seriously, ***** Microsoft.

I won’t even buy a game for £70, so good luck with that.

Well that’s money saved if the download requirement is true. I’ll use the money for a more deserving game (or two, lol 70 quid).

There are literally stacks of this game on eBay for under 30 quid. This article is just misinformation.

1. Put in loot boxes,
2. Jumped on the battle royale trend,
3. Made said BR pay to win with weapons and skins.
4. Nikki minaj.
5. Worthless game discs with no content on it
6. Bloated downloads
7. Rehashed story content
8. Cannibalised all the other Activision studios to churn out slop content over other games

That’s just what I can remember off the top of my head while sat on the toilet.

Personally AI garbage is low on my list of CoD transgressions so I summed it all up with “CoD is creatively bankrupt”.

The whole series has been creatively bankrupt for the last 15 years, so makes sense that they can’t even be bothered to make it themselves anymore.

Surely Sony didn’t need to green light 12 GaaS games simultaneously. The whole move reeked of desperation and greed from the outset and shows how clueless game executives are. Always chasing trends too late and missing the boat continuously.

So say all 12 games got made. Did Sony expect us to play all 12 simultaneously or were they expecting most to fail. Surely proceeding with your two best ideas and having the rest of your teams working on what made you a success would make more sense no? Live service games monopolise their players time to get them invested and incentivise them to start coughing up money. Nobody plays 12 live service games. They play one and getting them to jump once they are invested takes real effort. Having Bluepoint make a god of war service game is literally the dumbest thing ever when they could have been remaking Bloodborne, or the Sly Cooper trilogy or something they actually specialise in.

I’ve been fairly optimistic about this generation and have plenty of games to play and not enough time to play them all but this situation is embarrassing.
