@UltimateOtaku91 that’s about money. Which I explained is largely because they raised the price of everything. In terms of actual console sales, they still never surpassed their peak.

And this generation had less competition than the last…Xbox is “dead”, yet PS5 barely got any boost in sales from that. Most of the people still on PS4 at this point simply don’t care that much about PS5, it’s 5 years old and easily accessible now.

Switch 2 will sell less. Xbox is dead. PlayStation 5 will likely sell less or the same as PS4. Consoles peaked.

@UltimateOtaku91 no it’s not. Otherwise PS4 and PS5 would/will have reached PS2 levels in sales. What they are doing is milking the audience they have more with price increases.

Xbox is “dead” yet, even with that ps5 is barely doing better than PS4 and it’s questionable whether PS5 will even match PS4 sales long term.

Switch 2 is almost guaranteed to sell less than the first too. There’s no more actual userbase growth.

@Wwe2k25 Sony still has not outsold the ps2 after 25 years and Nintendo merged the handheld with the console. DS and Wii sold more than the switch combined.

PSN avatars and customization in general got worse every generation after ps3. We’ve lost features.

Extremely overrated. Game barely grows or evolves,mission design is mediocre and samey,barely any enemy types,etc

It is close to release by definition. 2027-2028 that’s literally like 2-3 years away.

This gen is already almost over and people want to cope and not accept that.

PS5 will have no real legacy when it’s all said and done. The console never even had 10 exclusives at once after 5 years. Just a trickle and everything was on pc in no time.

@Balaam_ Multiplayer against actual players is far harder than scripted Ai that lets you win… Also it’s more dynamic also, every match has a bunch of different variables.

@PlatinumMikey PS5 has the least amount of exclusives in PlayStation history. Console has had maybe 10 exclusives after 5 years and all are ported
