Your poll is broken, since it literally excludes the typical game prices ($X9.99) in its options. That is, which of these poll options cover the typical $69.99 price? For that price, some people will choose the "$60 - $69" option and some will choose the "$70 - $79" option, which means the poll will unintentionally split the votes for the same price. Same for $79.99, etc.
Still amazes me that this website (which is all about PlayStation games) avoids linking to the game's PlayStation store page (which would make it easier for readers to wishlist the game or buy it digitally), even in an article about wishlisting. I wonder how much Amazon is paying the site not to link to PS store, given the various links to Amazon.
Are Push Square authors forbidden from linking to the original source(s) (e.g. the official press release here)? They also never link to the corresponding PlayStation store page. Both types of links would make this site more useful, in case you're interested in that.
@Nakatomi_Uk Yeah, might be the worst timing for an article (or decision to post it at all) I've seen in a while. I wouldn't make my PSN profile public, at least until Sony fixes their procedures for account recovery being abused by using public PSN profiles to gain control of others' accounts.
Ew, I couldn't care less about anything on that top 8 list or always seeing the same constant list on my home screen. It's a shame the vast majority of gamers don't seem interested in actually high-quality and immersive games/experiences and mindlessly play the same trendy and unoriginal slop for years on end just because they feel they have to play what's "popular". It seems like the gaming industry is locked in a race to the bottom and/or a death spiral if these are the "games" making the most money.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and The Lost Legacy are the only ones I've played, both of which were great. I wish they remade Uncharted 2 for PS5 and Pro (with PSSR support).
@dskatter How so? Aren't Gran Turismo 7 and Horizon Call of the Mountain both greater justifications for the PSVR2 than this game/simulator ever will be, given that they both appeal to a broader audience?
@darthvirgin Indeed. I don't know why PushSquare can't seem to always get technical details right. They could simply double check such details from the source, or simply include the source image instead of trying to paraphrase it.
@Reeneman Based on a brief look, Yotei's Legends update seems to be using the same PSSR, unless there is too little improvement in the new one in that game to be noticeable.
An OLED (HDR) screen would be the 3rd improvement on my wishlist for a new Portal version, after the addition of a couple of back buttons and significant input latency improvements for Remote Play itself (e.g. 60% or more latency reduction in an optimal local network setup, from the current 50-70 ms down to 20-30 ms latency difference vs playing directly on an OLED TV).
@QwarktasticLombax Sony didn't actually state that. They said PS4 game(s) will only occasionally be included in PS+ Essential monthly games from now on, instead of being guaranteed as before.
This is pure speculation by some analyst who provides zero evidence for his claim, and people here are eating it up as if it's an actual announcement from Sony. smh
@Dan12836666 "Forza Horizon 6 will launch first on Xbox consoles and PC in 2026. With the excitement for this franchise on other platforms, Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios are also working together to bring Forza Horizon 6 to PlayStation 5 post-launch." https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2025/09/25/forza-horizon-6-japan-setting-2026/
@Sulleymonster Control's FPS drop from PSSR is around 5 in Quality mode (e.g. 50 vs 55), and it's not extremely noticeable. And it plays just fine framerate-wise with PSSR in Quality mode with a VRR supporting display.
I ended up returning mine due to better overall experience on a 4K TV, the lack of back buttons being hard to go back to after getting used to DualSense Edge, and the high input latency (especially for games that benefit from quick reactions). That latency comes from Remote Play itself (which Portal relies on) and is due to video encoding latency on the PS5. So, the input latency is still high even if you remove all network latency by connecting the Remote Play client device directly to the PS5 via Ethernet cable without the router in between (not possible with Portal, as that's WiFi-only).
I hope some of those performance improvements also make it into the PS5 version. Even on PS5 Pro, during boss fights on water (e.g. as in early game caves), it always stutters (i.e. frame rate falls below the VRR minimum, 48 FPS) in Quality mode (without RT).
If I ever need a handheld, I'll just wait for the PS6 Portable so that I can play my existing digital PS backlog anywhere. $1K seems way overpriced anyway.
@MrPeanutbutterz To be fair, making any multiplayer trophy a requirement for platinum is essentially paywalling the platinum trophy, since players will need to pay extra for a PS+ subscription to get it for such a single-player game with an optional multiplayer content that needs to be downloaded (aka a DLC). They could have easily put multiplayer trophies into a separate trophy list (just like in Ghost of Tsushima, for example).

Who cares? What matters most to me is that the games will also be released on PlayStation.

Saros for me. Looks so crisp on PS5 Pro.
Re: Myst, Riven Remakes Officially Confirmed for PS5, with Full PSVR2 Support
Nice, but new PS5 Pro Enhanced games not using PSSR (given how good PSSR2 looks) is such a bummer.

Already gone.
Re: Round Up: First Super Meat Boy 3D Reviews Make It Sound as Brutal as Ever
Is it even helpful to mention a Metacritic score here when it's based on only 13 PC reviews and no PS5 reviews? That PC score is now 79 btw.

Finally started Alan Wake 2, now that the long-awaited new PSSR has been released.

PSVR 2 backlog, probably Max Mustard.

@deezcronuts Oddly, Forza was cheaper ($30) back in September: https://psprices.com/region-us/game/8426788/forza-horizon-5-standard-edition
So, I was expecting it to be that low for the holiday sales, too.

First playthrough of Resident Evil 3 Remake for me, too.

Re: There's Unfinished Business in Robocop: Rogue City's Standalone Expansion on PS5
@Rich33 I tried it on PS5 Pro, and in both modes, it's the same resolution as the PS5, but with FPS closer to the target, as can be seen here (if you search for "Robocop: Rogue City"):
