I'll probably wait for a price drop just due my backlog of unfinished games. I loved 5 and it was my first foray into the persona series so I'm looking forward to trying out both games!
It all seems kind of silly. All this fuss over a game. Personally I don't care for you know who and her outlook on life issues since reading up on the entire controversy. Her story's were a huge part of my childhood growing up though and I can't wait to relieve that part of my childhood again through this game. I stay off all social media now as it's just to toxic so I was completely in the dark as to what all the fuss was surrounding Hogwarts. Not really sure we're I stand on the issues at hand. I just want to relieve a bit of my childhood. It's a complex issue for sure and I see now why it's a hot button issue.
Oh my. I didn't know, I only get my news about games from here and definitely don't keep up with the latest things going on. Thank you for the information 👍
I can't count the number of times I beat Dead Space 1&2. So I'm thrilled for this remake. They nailed the atmosphere of the first game for sure! Here's hoping this sells well as I'd love a follow-up remake of the 2nd game!
Personally I feel that Alien Isolation is the 2nd best Alien game to date with AVP2 on the PC taking the first place. While Isolations campaign did run a bit long I very much enjoyed it. So much so that it was my first plat trophy on PS. Having to one shot that game with no deaths on hard difficulty was the most stressful experience I have played to date! I'm very much looking forward to a 2nd game.
I'd sure love a third person survival horror Alien along the lines of Resident Evil though! So I'm happy to hear that's this is in development!
Between Dead Space remake, Silent Hill 2 remake and RE4 2023 is going to be an amazing year for horror fans. Man I can't wait!! RE 4 is one of the best games ever made! I'm so excited!!!
I guess I'm one of the few that really enjoyed the first game. Strong 7.5 out of 10. It was kind of like souls in easy mode. Loved the soundtrack on the original game and that seems to be missing in this trailer unfortunately. Just some 80s Danzig rock, I'm disappointed 😞 Definitely clashes with the vibe of the first game.....
Definitely stoked for the Next Mass Effect and Dead Space Remake. I know Mass Effect Andromeda wasn't the best but after it got patched up it's really wasn't that bad. It had the best combat of any of the games and I loved the different builds you could make Rider into. So yes I have some hope from EA singer player games now.
What a huge disappointment. I was so excited when this was announced. But it's probably for the best. Rumor has it they wanted to change the story of the original game. The one thing that needed to stay the same was the story of KORTO. The gameplay and graphics is what needed work. As disappointed as I am this is probably for the best as to not tarnish this games legacy.
Just earned my platinum trophy last night. Loved the game and am thankful I didn't run into any of the issues listed.
@ would you kindly
Did you buy any of the food items in the game? If you haven't the option to upgrade food storage won't appear to upgrade untill you do. I ran into this issue thinking it was glitched as well.
Returnal is an amazing game! Took me forever to finally clear the game but I finally got to see the credits roll about 6 months ago and and now I'm 2 trophys away from the plat. So pumped for this dlc looks fantastic.
Sorry Sony but your a little late to the party and $55 smackers for an official plastic cover is ridiculous! Very happy with my $28 on sale back cover from Amazon.
Finally beat the game last month. It was hell and I have always been one for hard games. Returnal is the roughest toughest game I think I have ever completed and I have beat some hard ones, all the Souls and Niho 1&2 games. At this point I think I would pass on DLC as much as I adore Returnal I just can't do it again to myself 🤣
So glad Dead space made the cut! Dead Space 2 is my personal favorite of the series. Sucks DS2 didn't make the top 15. If refines all the ruff edges of the original and is a masterpiece of survival horror the pinnacle of the series in my opinion.
Sorry I wasn't trying to sound stuck up or anything but it probably came off that way. But to answer you, actually yeah. I mean in each ME about 10 hours in or so your already overpowered with a great selection of weapons and powers depending on class setup. The game becomes a cake walk at that point. Any difficulty other than I insanity is just stupid easy like borning easy.
Also I touch plenty of grass my friend. Actually just got back home from a fly fishing trip😉
Happy to say I didn't pick up Vanguard. I 100% agree but unfortunately I think most folks don't know about the Activision Blizzard fiasco as others have pointed out. I have been a CoD junkie for years, it's my gaming fast food when I want a quick fix and it's amazing at what it does. But like you I'm done with the franchise untill Activision can demonstrate that they're actually changing and give a damn. Untill that time I'll be blasting away in Battlefield 2042 or the next none CoD FPS.
First year I have skipped out on CoD and I probably will for future instalments as well. After the Activision Blizzard fiasco I just can't bring myself to support the company anymore with a new purchase. I'll switch to BF 2042 this year on PC and see how that plays out. Though I may end up picking up Vanguard 2nd hand down the road.
There's a special place in hell for people that refuse to bring Garris along the Normandy with them.
Also found it odd folks beat the games on anything other than the Insanity difficulty. When played right insanity is a cakewalk if you know how to stagger your powers and cd's. Especially in ME3 with all the ridiculously amount of combo detonations you can pull off. Quite baffling honestly 😆. Makes you think people didn't understand how to play the game and utilize its RPG undertones and instead played it like a shooter I guess..
I know Andromeda got a bad wrap and deservingly so.But after patches the game was in a great state to play. The story was forgettable for the most part. What I enjoyed about Andromeda was the mobility and combat gameplay. It's was 1010 in my opinion. Plus the skill trees and powers were spot on. If the new ME4 or whatever it's going to be called can bring that kind of combat and movement with the characters we've grown to love in the series back with a great story this game has the potential to be amazing.
As an absolute stupid fanboy of all things Mass Effect this has me pretty excited. So many questions I want answered! Pretty damn cool poster if you ask me.
Starting a new playthrough of the Witcher 3. I have beat the game twice before but this was before the Blood and Wine expansion dropped and I'm very much looking forward to finally digging in to the expansion. If it's half as good as Hearts of Stone I'll be happy 😁
First COD I have skipped in probably 10 years. I may still pick it up 2nd hand at some point down the line. I'm actually more excited for Battlefield 2042 then anything else this year on PC.
Just finished Bloodstained and it's as close to Castlevania as a game can get without being called Castlevania. Excellent 2nd platformer. I was looking at this but after the review here I'll wait untill it's on sale.
It's probably going to be a good 2-3 years before the studios that Microsoft purchased start to bear their fruit. But oh man there's going to be a landslide of MS games dropping in that time frame. I definitely want to snag a Xbox before that happens. Just can't find them anywhere right now except 2nd hand sellers, same with the PS5. I'm not dropping a thousand plus on a video game console. At that price point I might as well just start building a high-end gaming PC😛
Just an amazing game. I absolutely loved it! Well deserved Capcom! If village is going to be any indication of what the Resident Evil 4 remake is going to look like man we're going to be in for one hell of an awesome ride!
For all that Sony has done right these past years I think pricing there console exclusives at $70 has definitely hurt day one sales. Inflation is running rampant due to the supply chain breaking down. Folks are struggling to make ends meet more so now then when I'm sure the decision was made to increase game pricing pre-pandemic. When you grocery bill goes up $50 a week as does your utilities and everything else that it cost to live a life the last thing you're going to be looking to spend money on is a video game. Unfortunately I think this is kind of a perfect storm scenario, it sucks.
Funny that you say that because I'm in the market for Xbox SX as well 😂 Hopefully they will be available by the time the new Outer worlds and Elder Scrolls games are released.
You know I thinks it's pretty great that the PC community is finally getting to experience some of Sony's best. Man thanks for the update Frank. This sounds like a huge improvement! I think I'll pick it up next time it's on sale. Plus you got to love them PS5 60 fps patches!
Totally agree! I love having my physical collection of games. It's nostalgic and wonderful all at the same time. I still get a sick little smile on my face when I walk into my office thumb through my old PlayStation 1, 2 and 3 games. Tho unfortunately physical media is dying and the reality is sooner than later it's going to be completely dead. But digital media also has its place, think of all the indie games we would have missed out on if it wasn't for digital distribution. It's really a double-edged sword.
Absolutely man the only launch game that I bought for my PlayStation 5 was Returnal. Picked up Demon's Souls on sale a few months back I'll be doing the same for Ratchet & Clank. Mostly because I have an incredibly large and embarrassing backlog of games lol I'm blessed and can afford new games. But folks have definitely been hit by COVID pandemic.
