The excellent-looking Resident Evil 4 remake is all anyone will be talking about today, let's be honest. To that end, we have another trailer for you looking at events a little further into the game, and it features some familiar faces, too. If you haven't already, be sure to check out our hands-on preview coverage of the title because we can already tell this game will be something truly special.
The aptly-named second trailer gives us a better look at the game's story, and if you come to Resident Evil 4 without having played the original, you could be forgiven for being somewhat lost. Set four years after the events of Resident Evil 2, Leon Kennedy is back and has been tasked with rescuing the President of the United States' daughter after her kidnapping, with the trail leading to a spooky village in rural Spain. That definitely escalated quickly!

This looks amazing. And the release is closer then expected. Seems like the story will be a bit different. After somewhat dry years 2023 is shaping up to be one the best years for gamers
And one of the most easy preorders of all time has been placed for me…
They haven't showed Krauser yet though, I wonder if the knife fight between him and Leon is gonna be a quick time event again.
Definitely looking forward to the Resident Evil 4 Remake. I didn’t realise they were remaking 2 again (might want to edit that penultimate sentence).
Between Dead Space remake, Silent Hill 2 remake and RE4 2023 is going to be an amazing year for horror fans. Man I can't wait!! RE 4 is one of the best games ever made! I'm so excited!!!
@hugoadan I hope if they cut any content in this remake it's krauser really didn't like that character lol
@Would_you_kindly oh man, I thought he was pretty badass.. especially during the knife fight, you know. But oh well, the remake already looks pretty great as it is so.. I won't get mad if they end up removing him from the game.

I didn't understand much of what was going on since I've never played RE4 before besides a few minutes of the Prologue.
They also released new gameplay footage which looked epic!
