One step forward (no more dlcs/premium pass) two steps backwards (delayed features and early release dates). And all of that after delaying a game for the whole month. Okay I understand that they need more time for battle Royale mode, but for the others ti don't.

@AdamNovice why would they be salty when the game has clearer image on xbox one X, and it's pretty obvious. Ps4 pro owners (I'm one of those) should be salty at Rockstar for using bad implementation of checkerboarding.

@AdamNovice I feel the same for GoW and Spiderman but hey, that's something you can't fix it. People said some gross stuff about slant magazine just because it gave a 7/10 to rdr2. SEVEN, not 3, 4, 5 but 7 and people still freaked out. Remember all those pictures for Sony exclusives with high scores where they put some obscure sites on them just because of high scores.

But it's really interesting how some games and companies get a pass for the very same thing others get scrutinized. Just look at ac odyssey and Spiderman reviews and you'll se my point. Spiderman had some of the most boring, repetitive and mundane side activities and most overlooked it while odyssey was criticized.

I disagree on one thing with you and that's including cd projekt red there because they aren't in that level yet. The Witcher 3 didn't get its scores because od cdpr because they weren't really popular prior to the Witcher 3.

@Flaming_Kaiser as far as I know this dlc costs 10 euros and if you'd like to know what should we get for that price look at Heart of Stone dlc/expansion for The Witcher 3.

This looks ugly! I'd get only the bean bag and as it looks comfy and cosy. The rest is too industrial and cold for my taste.

@consolfreak1982 hey now you've mentioned it, it's really surprising that there's no trace of lootboxes and black market. The previous two installments were notorious in this regard. I also really enjoy it and I'm usually not a big Call of Duty fan.

@Th3solution I don't think so, their audience is different. If you said PUBG that could be possible as their aim for similar audience.

Anyway, I've been playing this since release and it's fun. Really fun. TTK is longer and there's no more auto heal. I haven't played blackout that much as I don't have friend who play it and besides games take longer to finish and I prefer shorter games so maybe sometimes in the future.

This review reads like it would get a score of 9, so I was surprised it got only 8. Can't help but feel that this would get a 9 if it was a playstation exclusive game. Well, it is a playstation site after all.

Anyway, looking forward to play this, can't wait. I enjoyed origins a lot and this sounds like improved origins.

@Kidfried most of the news are found on resetera forum but you can always put that as your source for example news about Witcher author asking for 16 million dollars and news about Harry Potter game come from resetera, even though they may be poster from somewhere else on that forum but noone has so much time to visit all the possible sites so, wah, tl Dr is resetera

@kyleforrester87 I don't think there are any technical "problems" but only stuff they have to do to make it. When you want to buy new furniture for your house you don't call that a problem, just something you need to do. I hope you get my idea. If I worked Sony I'd do exactly what they did now just earlier.

@wiiware I don't care what neither Microsoft nor Sony did the previous generation. I didn't own a console back then. Besides, it's not an excuse for Sony to do it now.

We should always strive for better things for us, gamers, so I really couldn't care less who did what ten years ago. I want better now, so being a leader this generation, why didn't Sony push for this, as their moto is "for the players"? Why wait for Microsoft, Nintendo and the rest of the industry to put pressure on you? Live by your moto, don't let it be just empty words. If we, as customers, don't put pressure on these companies, then what do you expect? They won't do it themselves.

So what excuse will Sony provide now? Obviously there weren't any technical problems, it was only their spite which prevented this. It's gonna be funny reading and listening their PR talk on this. Oh, and Sony fun boys should stop acting like they're shareholders.

Pubg still going strong in spite of being available only on the less popular platform. Imagine how high would it be if it was available on ps4. I hope we won't wait too long to find out.

Still too expensive and ps4 games catalog isn't impressive. The next step should be to lower the price.

@BAMozzy it's all according to the expectations of the company - battlefront 2 sold some 10 millions and EA was unhappy. I remember when tomb raider 2013 was around 5-6 millions square Enix said they were unhappy and that game sold less then expected. It's probably because of their shareholders and goals they had for their fiscal year.

I have to wonder what are all these people at the studio doing in the meantime. They can't be all polishing the game but they also can't just waste their time. It would be funny if they really moved it to the next year because they wanted to avoid all the big hitters this year and then only to release it on the same day as three other games.

@get2sammyb yeah, sure. If you look at it this way then every game could fall in some of those categories. Fifa aims to be the best football simulation, CoD to be the best online FPS, need for speed to be the best racer, watch dogs to be the first and best hacker open world game etc etc. So basically everybody make games with the same aims if we look at it your way.

There are some exceptional games at Sony exclusive portfolio, no doubt, but there are games which don't fall into any of these categories.

Firewatch, Inside, Killzone, Wolfenstein, Gravity Rush, Materfall.

@get2sammyb well, when you say that someone has built a largest network it implies they have actually invested and BUILT something, like having so many servers etc and this is not true is Sony's case. As I said, they may have the largest install base but they haven't built largest infrastructure, not even close.
We don't play games on their servers, we play games on Epic's servers, or Activision etc, so there's really no reason to block this, especially in games like Fortnite where you use external account to connect to your friends. Can't believe how blindly can someone follow a company to let them make anticonsumer moves and to approve it.

Also, comparing exclusives to this is like comparing apples to oranges. It's not comparable at all. Don't make these weak arguments.

"Sony has built the largest online gaming network in the world on the PS4" this simply isn't true. Sony has the largest install base but it hasn't build the largest network.

This is a bad move for consumers, there's no working around it. I don't care for corporate politics, I'm a normal user and I don't like this. One of few missteps Sony has made this generation.

@rjejr I feel the pain man! They could at least give us a year for any of those three, but no, let's show them and then leave you wondering when you'll play it... For example, Microsoft didn't give a date for gears 5, but we at least know which year it should be released. And we are talking about a game which was showed for the first time ever.

I hope they fix loot so we feel like we are getting something worthy, not just spam us with lots of useless loot items. I also want them to change bosses, don't make them spongy and unfair. In addition to that, they shouldnt reuse same areas so much as in the last game. And in the end, bring some light to this game. Half the time I couldn't properly see enemies and the environment.

I want to play Nioh so much because it's combat is addicting, but all of above mentioned thing prevent me from enjoying this game. I thing I have never had such conflicting feelings for a game.

Bad move by Sony. Just give me options. I'm not in a prison or a kindergarten...

@XurAgentofthe9 it's between those two. I mean, you can choose difficulty so it's not a problem. It's one of the best rpgs this generation and the most overlooked.

I just bought it yesterday as I found it for 6.6 pounds so I was glad that I'll get some free content before the game is delivered to me

@adf86 Don't ignore the fact that both Zelda and Horizon were console/platform exclusives, and addition to that is Zelda releasing on a brand new console (WiiU was irrelevant). On the other hand, Anthem is coming out on 3 platforms simultaneously, including Ps4 and that's a lot different. Besides that, Anthem is sure to have a huge marketing budget. So it's a very different situation to the one you are describing.

A lot of people seem to think only from their perspective and if they have any interest in a game or not, without looking at the bigger picture. Sony should move this two weeks forward. Just look how other single player games tanked in such circumstances, e.g. Wolfenstein 2, rise of the tomb raider, even titanfall 2.

I want this game to be good, but I'm not that hyped.

I'm afraid it will be full of some SJW things and characters like BioWare's recent stuff and it puts me off. Let us just have a normal game without any social commentary or anything, I just want to play the game and have fun.

@b1ackjack_ps hehe I haven't, thank God! It would be a bummer! Even though I don't have an active subscription, I'll rather buy it and have all the other games in addition to this one. Anyway, this is another great month indeed.

I really like combat in this game, but level design wasn't so good and they were too generous with loot to the point where you feel the same regardless if you get a normal or a legendary item. BTW I gave up on it by the umi bozu boss as I didn't fancy farming those items to beat it. I think I'll get back to this game some time in the future.

@b1ackjack_ps @Flaming_Kaiser is it any better on ps4 pro? These are some sad news. Well, seems like I'll have to buy a dedicated GPU to play some strategy games.
