Dying Light PS4

Techland is doing owners of the original Dying Light game a real solid and automatically upgrading base versions of the game to the Enhanced Edition starting today. This applies to both physical and digital versions of the parkour focused zombie game, netting you The Following expansion as well as four smaller DLC packs.

To take advantage of the offer, you'll need to launch the game and then scroll down to the "DLC Packs" option in the main menu. Button through and all the DLC should be listed as free. You'll get The Following, The Bozak Horde, Crash Test Skin Pack, Ultimate Survivor Bundle, and Cuisine and Cargo. The only significant piece of post-launch content you won't receive is Hellraid, which is £7.99/$9.99 on the PlayStation Store.

The Following is the biggest piece of content you're getting here for free with this offer, adding a new map, story, and even vehicle to the experience. In our PS4 review, we awarded the expansion an 8/10 and called it "DLC done right".

Furthermore, the game received a PS5 patch a few months ago, adding three graphical modes. Performance Mode runs at 60 frames-per-second in full HD, Balanced Mode targets 60fps in QHD, and Quality Mode gives you a 4K resolution at 30fps. Will you be taking advantage of this offer and playing some free Dying Light content? Don't forget Dying Light 2 is also out now if you like what you see.
