I think Playstation is just generally seen as 'cooler' than Xbox, as more people (famous and non famous) buy them, other people just copy.. games alone can't change that, it's just how it is currently... a bit like how iPhone is just assumed to be cooler, even though Samsung phones (it can be argued!) have much better tech

sounds great this… would be nice if it’s on PC gamepass, it’s not really the type of game you wanna play with a controller

I made a vow not to pay £70 for any one game, but I’m a sucker for hype, so I pre-ordered it! But at least it was about £63 at Game Collection...

I wonder if this Play is the only specific console focused magazine around now, Inknow there are others like Edge that cover video games in general

literally everyone I know who plays this plays it on PlayStation... US games journalists seem to be the only people unaware of how popular the PS platform is worldwide

I was addicted to FUT (not Fifa point thankfully!). I'm all for anything that helps destroy this monster.. such an uneven playing field, all these people with high disposable income don't think twice about spending thousands on packs, which encourages other to waste money that they shouldn't.. maybe better to sell cards directly like this!

I guess this is a good deal, the price if PS Plus isn’t going down anytime that’s for sure... the only way is up!

MS now have this console 'exclusive' game, which is also now so popular for all the wrong reasons!

what happens with the disc version? can people buy that to play on PS5?

these guys threw Sony under the bus with that statement, so I guess something had to give... I bet physical copies become hot ticket items now

70 dollars is too high for most people anyway, by making it 70 GBP as well they are basically taking the piss, it's what Apple do.. I'm sure some will buy it but I expect the majority of people will wait for a discount

the game reviewer is reweiwing their overall experience with the game, right? bugs and glitches etc are obviously a part of that but they are not the only factor in a game review

have they even given timescales for a PS5 update, or what it will entail?... could be waiting a while for that!

I hope they add a 3rd person mode (like a reverse GTA5!) in a future version

so... are people moaning about not being able to ‘pre-load’ earlier?... what difference does it make if you can’t play the game until release, not as if its gonna take 2 days to download it or anything

cool... I played that other game of theirs Twin Breaker the other day for thi first time... I was just expecting a typical boring game but it was very innovative and fun... definately gonna try Habroxia too

at those crazy prices I was temped to sell our newly arrived PS5, but my kid was so looking forward to it I decided not to.. you could probably get a PS5 for free if you sold and bought again when there was more stock!

I want to be annoyed at the scalpers but no... they are just taking advantage of the system, companies should do more to stop them

supplies of tech products will be limited for a while... companies and retailers need to work towards preventing people buying multiple items - maybe one purchase per payment method or something, anything to give the average person a chance of buying one

They'd be bettor off spending their millions promoting this thing when it actually became available to buy for everyone

it's not really a big problem or anything, it's just all the early review people kept saying its whisper quiet - they should have clarified that's when you're not doing anything on it!... overall it's an amazing device, especially the controller

My PS5 sounds just like the PS4, apart from the crazy jet engine sounds when you get into some games... but give it time I’m sure that will come in a year or two! The ‘silent’ noise thing may be a myth, but Xbox somehow manage to make totally silent consoles

this is on Xbox game pass, but only for console (I think).. would have liked to try it on PC

so... does anyone know if an external ssd makes a big difference when playing PS4 games from it on a PS5?

Not a game to be played on console is it... I noticed this year’s version is on gamepass for PC, which is a nice treat for Xbox on PC people

let the people who want to pay it pay it I guess... I can't justify full price games even now, haha... but that's cool, I can always wait for sales.. it's just a shame that games that have microtransactions can make so much more money than those that don't - the PlayStation AAA games generally don't, so its fair enough to charge higher for them, I'm sure the cost of making them must have risen a lot during the years

The newer PS4 controllers seem to be pretty poor quality build wise, Ive had a couple just develop faults after just a couple of weeks.. the older ones lasted much longer

they love to put those farming games on there

very much doubt the career mode changes will amount to much.. their main focus will be on how to entice the Ultimate Team players into buying more Fifa points... that mode really should be free to play

I would like to play this, but I will just wait and play on a PS5 (hopefully) without the jet engine sound and instant loading etc

With the Last of Us and Ghost of Tshushima coming to PS4, I can see people delaying the purchase of the PS5.. maybe readers of this site will think otherwise but Sony are doing a pretty bad job of marketing the new console. Obviously it’s still gonna sell very well, Playstation is such a huge brand worldwide in comparison to Xbox

Microsoft (in his mind) has moved to a different space.. that's fine.. Sony should stick to what they do best, you can be successful without turning everything into the cloud - Nintendo is happy to do what they do.. you don't have to follow everyone. By all means give people options, but focus on what you are good at Sony!
