Honestly there's nothing wrong with the quote, just that it could have been said better. A nothing burger, just like that "gamers should get used to not owning games" one that was taking out of context. But it gets clicks I guess.
The guys at Retroware really cook. I don't know if they also develop everything or if they choose really well what to publish but they're becoming a personal favorite of mine. Leaving the recommendation of also checking out Iron Meat.
I've been playing Wildermyth, which is amazing. Recommend for anyone who likes creating their own characters, SRPG/kinda XCOM 2-style, choices, board games and random events. Really surprised with that one.
Also, Raidou Remastered. A really good one. I feel like they made the enemies have too much HP, but the QoL improvements are really good.
And Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Honestly, I've got all the Achievements, finished it in Legend and did the DLC dungeon, but after Expedition 33 I really wanted a turn-based RPG I enjoy and went back to get all the characters and their jobs to LV99.
I don't think there's anything they can show that will actually make me interested. Tsushima was one of the most boring games I have experienced, with mediocre combat and stealth. It was also one of the most beautiful games I've played, but for that I'd just watch a movie.
Finished Expedition 33 last week (it was OK), so now I'm playing Raidou Remastered which I'm already enjoying a lot more.
Some good updates and changes (some not so much). But it's good.

Re: 'Increasingly Selective Consumers' to Blame for Underperformance of Blades of Fire
I just don't like Mercury Steam stuff.
Re: Despite Full PS5 Release, Splitgate 2 Is Going Back to Beta to Launch Again in 2026
I sense more potential for this than what Concord was, even if just a little.
Re: PS5 RPG Remake Fate/Extra Record Delayed Again After Years and Years of Waiting
I played it back in the day. Quite a few times.
Story was the good part, the gameplay was okay.
Re: Sony's Stunning PS5 Fighter Marvel Tokon Will Be Playable for the First Time at Evo 2025
I completely forgot about this one. It looks really good.
Re: Mass Effect TV Series Being Handled by Fallout Production Team
I have zero faith. 😅
Re: All PS5 First-Party Exclusives
Damn, most of these don't even reach a 9/10 from the users on the site.
Re: Avatar PS5 Game Gets a Third-Person Mode, New Game+ in Huge December Update
I might replay this one.

Re: Soccer RPG Inazuma Eleven Delays Its PS5, PS4 Debut Yet Again
I think I tried one of these back on the DS days.
Apart from the old Tecmo World Cup there aren't a lot -if any- football RPGs so I want to try it.
Re: Poll: 5 Years Later, What Do You Think of Ghost of Tsushima?
It's one of the most boring games I've played in my entire life.
Re: Official Ghost of Yotei Popcorn Bucket Triggers Tedious Takes on PS5 Exclusives
Not gonna lie, those are funny, haha. 🤣

No, I'm not worried.
Re: Anticipated PS5 JRPG Remake Persona 4 Revival Finally Available to Wishlist
I think I wishlisted it the same day of the reveal on Xbox.
Not that it's useful or anything. 🤣
Re: EDENS ZERO (PS5) - Breezy Anime Adaptation Is a Fun, Forgettable Action RPG
This one's cheap on Xbox thanks to the regional pricing. I'm kinda tempted to be honest.
Re: EA Sports FC 26 Pays Homage to an Iconic Zlatan Ibrahimovic Photoshoot
Why you gotta call Ronaldo fat like that? 🤣
Even if he is, it's the first time I've seen PS calling someone fat.

Re: Stolen PS1 WipEout Games Axed from the Xbox Store
Imagine Sony reviving dormant/dead IPs, making those games with a lower budget and then charging less than $50 for it.
No way in Hell that's gonna happen but one can dream.
Re: Ghost of Yotei Confirms Japanese Dub at Launch, Complete with Full Lip-Syncing
Did they ever add subtitles to the world chatter in Tsushima?
Re: Poll: Are You Sold on Ghost of Yotei?
It's just more of the same, as expected. Why would they innovate, if the majority are going to buy it anyways?
It just gets a pass because it's a first-party exclusive. Another studio doing this would have a lot more people complaining.

Re: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Story Leaves The Last of Us Director 'In Awe'
I thought it was the weakest part of the game, honestly.
Re: The Uncharted Vibes Are Off the Charts in New Mafia: The Old Country PS5 Gameplay
Don't like Mafia nor Uncharted so I think I'll pass. 😂

Re: Poll: Vote for Your PS5 Game of the Month (June 2025)
Raidou Remastered, no competition. The Alters is also good.
Re: Wuxia Open World Where Winds Meet Will Be a PS5 Console Exclusive for Six Months
It's an MMO? Really? There's goes the only exclusive I was interested in.

I do buy games. But I have no interest in this one in particular.

And we can play the majority of these in modern consoles, right? ... Right?

Re: What the Hell Has Happened to Call of Duty?
Call of Duty can do whatever it wants and it's still going to sell.
Re: Legendary's Live Action Street Fighter Cast Is Crazy, By the Way
I know three of them.
Re: PS6 to 'Push the Boundaries' of Graphics, Doubles Down on Machine Learning
@twitchtvpat
That is true, but personally I need something more than "better versions of games I can play on last-gen".
That's me though.
Re: PS6 to 'Push the Boundaries' of Graphics, Doubles Down on Machine Learning
@LogicStrikesAgain
Not saying it's wrong. Just that it shows a lot of games don't even begin to use the full power of the PS5.
Re: PS6 to 'Push the Boundaries' of Graphics, Doubles Down on Machine Learning
I'm not upgrading any time soon. It was a lackluster generation. Games are still releasing on PS4 and the same it's going to happen with PS5.
Re: Blackpink's Lisa Is the New Global Face of PlayStation
Who from where? 😂
Re: 'Sure, Here's a Revised Version of the Text': The Alters Taken to Task for Blatant Use of Generative AI
Who cares? 😂
I'm more concerned about the quality of games. Sometimes you have a 100% human team with no use of AI that end up releasing a Concord.
Re: Brazilian Gamers Infuriated by Sudden PS5 Price Hikes
Damn, people really defending this... Crazy.
Re: Bandai Namco to Reveal New My Hero Academia Game During Big Summer Broadcast
ARES! Give me an action or turn-based RPG and my life is yours!
Re: Brazilian Gamers Infuriated by Sudden PS5 Price Hikes
$ony being $ony, as usual.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for July 2025?
I'm glad I don't pay for this. I learned my lesson.
Re: Random: Stellar Blade Dev Gives Insane Anatomically Accurate Explanation of Why Butts Are Beautiful
@tomassi
I honestly have friends with girlfriends and all and they still lust over fictional videogame characters.
Re: Random: Stellar Blade Dev Gives Insane Anatomically Accurate Explanation of Why Butts Are Beautiful
"But Stellar Blade isn't about the hot women".
Re: Resident Evil Requiem PS5 Was Open World, Online in Early Tests
@AtlasLivesAgain
It's the daughter of a character from Outbreak, but yeah.
Re: You Can Now Launch First-Party PlayStation Games Through the Xbox PC App
@Fiendish-Beaver
I guess it depends on the region. Steam is more expensive here, so I would never buy something there unless it's the ONLY way.
Re: You Can Now Launch First-Party PlayStation Games Through the Xbox PC App
@get2sammyb
There's really people saying that now? 🤦🏻
Re: Terminator 2D: No Fate Looks Like a Long Lost Mega Drive Classic in New Gameplay Trailer
@Jrs1
They were supposed to announce two more this Halloween, and two more next year (I think) if the games sold well.
I'm really curious!
Re: Terminator 2D: No Fate Looks Like a Long Lost Mega Drive Classic in New Gameplay Trailer
@Jrs1
It's good, but yeah... Some parts are rage-inducing.
Re: Terminator 2D: No Fate Looks Like a Long Lost Mega Drive Classic in New Gameplay Trailer
Last year I enjoyed Retrorealms, and this year we have this. Amazing.
