Also dropping in to say I really enjoyed the new Yakuza.

I have a Pro and since the patch it's played well. Knock on wood and all that. Removing those extra setting like the film grain and all that also helps.

I only keep HDR enabled.

This one NPC won't stop T Posing though. I have named her Sandra. Just feels right.

Sure the original game opens up once you leave Midgar, but it's still a mostly guided experience until you get the Highwind.

Yakuza 5 Remastered. I was really enjoying it till I hit Haruka's part.

I just can't bring myself to care about this section of the game.

Quests for Materia sounds good to me. Especially if some are unique.

Good, yes...very good indeed.

I didn't have that big an issue with groups. R3 changed the lock-on to the next enemy easily for me.

Delays don't bother me past muttering "oh man" under my breath like Swiper getting denied at the exact moment he's about to swipe.

Then I move on. Also backlog. So much backlog. Not complaining! Just..whew.

Getting both anyway so fine I gueeeesssss...it's just the extended wait that obviously sucks.

I'm still all for polishing things up though.

Just beat CONTROL a couple days ago..so I'll probably jump back on the first Trails of Cold Steel. Near the end of that game anyway.

I think sites should just wait till they announce something and stop spreading rumors to begin with. All these worthless rumor posts and leak spreading just makes it worse.

Just a little over two months away anyway, so it doesn't much matter to me. I can hang on until the game itself is released.

Nice to see CONTROL got some love. It had my favorite video game bit in it since a moment with a certain book in Witcher 3's Blood and Wine.

@BorderlineJon Indeed. I'll dabble in info to a point (usually when dealing with game mechanics/battle system etc.) but this leaked stuff is for the birds.

@BorderlineJon I'm not sure. I know when certain games come out they just get straight up spoiled. Found that out the hard way with God of War when it came out.

@BorderlineJon True enough. That's what they say these days. I'm not watching it either. I mentioned on Push's most recent article about the demo that I'm basically worried the game will be leaked before it even releases.

Figures. I hope that doesn't mean some jerk is gonna put the game out ahead of release though. Some of these YouTubers are just linking to the files for these people to try and crack open.

@BorderlineJon Yeah I feel ya. If they got the opening like this I'm thinking media blackout after the game releases in order to avoid the new plot stuff from coming out though. That is if someone doesn't manage to crack the game open too. I would hope that's harder...

I'm torn.

On the one hand, it's nice to know these sorts of things for sure, but on the other there's no surprise, ya know? They could've been like "here's our Jan PS+ games...oh yeah, and THIS" and dropped the demo. That would've been sweet.

I wonder if it will be out for Christmas!? I've been thinking it myself but didn't want to voice it to falsely get people's hopes up.

Majima makes more sense than Kiryu. So do the others since they all live in the city too. Then again, Kiryu does tend to get pulled back in preeeeeetty easily/often.

@Rob_230 It's possible..but I watched some gameplay they showed of it awhile back and it just seems the same as the others. Stiff gameplay and all that.

I think they're more worried it'll be slammed for what will be considered outdated mechanics.

Yeah, I just don't get relying so hard on game reviewers. Sometimes it's nice to see if someone just agrees with you sure, but to base your own choice on someone else's is crazy to me.
