Re: An Amazing Number of Players Have Marvel's Spider-Man 2's Platinum Trophy

@FuzzyOtterPaws I wholeheartedly disagree with you on this. Like I said, platinum trophies were suppose to be challenging. If you couldn't beat a game on hard, then you just wouldn't get the platinum lol. No one forces you to get a platinum, so I don't really see your point. This platinum trophy just isn't all that special if anyone can get it without really testing themselves.

I miss the days where platinum trophies were actually challenging to get. I'm not talking about "find all 500 of these collectibles." But I miss those "beat the game on the hardest difficultly setting." Or "complete all combat challenges." Like, getting a platinum use to feel like a great feat, and now it just feels like a lot of games just hand them out...idk, but this platinum doesn't feel special at all.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Forspoken?

@KaijuKaiser Graphics and art style have nothing to do with it. My opinion is based on reviews I've read and videos I've seen. Gamplay vids, video breakdowns...all that stuff. Based on everything I've seen and read, it seems like a game that would fit that score. I also played the demo and the concerns I had were verified from the reviews and video essays I've seen.

Re: The Last of Us 2 Surpasses The Witcher 3 as the Most Awarded Game in History

If I'm being honest, I don't think it deserves all the praise. Nor does it deserve the hate. The game was solid, at best.
It was just too preachy with "killing is bad. Violence is evil." Yet throwing all these upgrades and crafting to literally have you kill dozens of people in ridiculously fun video game way. I don't mind the approach to open up conversations like this within the media but it has to be done right. MGS 3 and Deus Ex are examples of this. Because, yes, they bring up the notion of killing and using our new found technology to kill, but within the gameplay you are given the CHOICE of your actions. I could play Deus Ex without killing anyone, or I could kill everyone I see. The choice is mine. And the moral notion of murder is always present in your mind because of this. In TLoU2 I don't have a choice most of the time. Sure, you can stealth some areas, but you can't force me to kill all these people and be like "you monster! Bloodlust is wrong!" when you didn't give me a choice in the matter.

Anyway, just my two cents that no one asked for.
