The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has held the record for the most Game of the Year awards for more than five whole years — but it's finally been beaten. According to Game Awards, a site which tracks both media outlet awards and reader's choice awards, The Last of Us: Part II has surpassed CD Projekt Red's genre-defining RPG.
Geralt was previously sitting pretty with a whopping 260 Game of the Year awards, but Naughty Dog's latest has just hit 261, making it the most awarded video game since records began. An impressive achievement to be sure.
For additional context, other Game of the Year winners, such as 2018's God of War and 2017's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, have 208 and 223 awards respectively. In other words, it's going to take something very special to knock The Last of Us: Part II from its new throne.
Are you surprised to see The Last of Us: Part II secure the top spot? Try not to attract any clickers in the comments section below.

The 🐐.
Won't pick a side in this. Both were outstanding, genre defining games, imo.
Cyberpunk 2077 got over 200 awards before it even released and we know how that game turned out to be
Therefore winning many awards don't necessarily has to mean a lot
Worst. Game. Ever.
Hard to compare numbers since there are more voters in 2020 (478 and counting) than in 2015 (437).
Deserved is all there is to say really
@mariomaster96 Those were E3 awards and totally different. Gamers themselves chose TLOU2 as GOTY in a ton of these.
@mariomaster96
yeah, it's the second best game I've played in the last 11/2 years. Get over it.
@LordSteev you only played 2 games in 11 and a half years??
@kyleforrester87
lol
that's ONE and a half years. No, played probably around 30 over that time, (year and a half, probably 200+ over 11) give or take. I don't mind bugs as much as some seem to, I'm looking for the quality of the game overall, and with Cyberpunk, I think it's high. Sure, they released it a year too early, but under the hurricane damage, there's a good foundation.
No shout out Robert? Where’s the love? 😄
It's whatever. Not picking sides on this since award shows never color my interest in games nor do I feel they reflect the general audience reception to be credible enough
All I'll say is Persona 5 Royal and Ghost of Tsushima on top of the PS5 launching with Miles Morales and Demon's Souls cancelled out my incredibly mixed feelings on TLoU II as a whole
Fully deserved. Both are excellent games & as for The Last Of Us 2, imo that’s the best game Sony have made.
Ghost of Tsushima is better there i said it before the trolls did. ... Oops to late
Anyway the rewards speak for themself. It even has more "players choise" rewards then GoT
@LordSteev "Get over it?"
I haven't even played it cause I'm not interested in it (I have zero interest in zombie games/movies). Haven't even played the first one. Therefore I can't tell if the game is good or not.
Just wanted to point out that lots of won awards don't necessarily have to mean a lot
Good. Just finished it this weekend and it's nothing short of an absolute stunning achievement and masterfully told heart wrenching story.
I'm not crying, youre crying 😭
EDIT:been playing GOT as well and while it's really really cool I have no emotional attachment or response from to/from it.
I just finished The Last of US 2 and am now playing Ghost of Tsushima. I plan to enjoy both of them, but reading here that's a severe crime and I should like one and hate the other.
I can understand you don't like a game, but the worst ever? They should probably turn off comments on these kind of topics as there is no discussion anymore only trolling.
@kyleforrester87 which game Kyle? lol
I'm still waiting for a cheaper bid to grab tlou2 only because I already spoiled the story for myself lol. But graphics wise, it looks amazing.
I was disappointed with that game a lot, but still congrats to the devs.
Because clearly a lot of hard work went into it
Looking forward to the next NG game (unless it’s part 3 then I may give it a miss 😂)
@mariomaster96 so you can't really say you know how that game turned out to be, can you?
I am still waiting for a 60FPS patch for PS5 backwards comp. mode. I might me the last one who actually bought the game and did not yet play it.
I kinda am surprised yeah. The game is a technical masterpiece, visuals and gameplay are probably the best in the industry, but the story could be better, and they didn't have to rewrite it, just play it on the reverse order would be way way waaaaay better
On my "PS4 games I'm waiting to play on PS5 and a 4k TV" list.
Will probably be starting the 2nd Witcher 3 DLC tonight. I've heard it's better than the first, which is good, b/c that really wasn't all that great. Then Tomb Raider 3. Then Kingdom Hearts 3. Then hopefully a PS5 w/ Ratchet & Clank bundle. Then wait on the remasters.
Love both games although there is one I consider even better.
😉
@LordSteev Well that exactly what I've said.
And also I never claimed that TloU2 doesn't deserve the awards, all I said that it does not NECESSARILY have to mean a lot but it still could mean a lot. I just meant that you should not blindely trust those high numbers of awards because Cyberpunk also got many awards and as we know now, these are not deserved
@Mysterio yeah Last of Us is great but really enjoying Ghost as well.
@mariomaster96
I'm still not understanding how you're saying 'we know now' and 'we all know how that turned out' when by your own admission, you've never played it and have no interest in it. BTW, where did I say anything about TLOU2?
Well deserved, Naughty Dog. The quality of their releases is always sky high, and regardless of what anyone says, they continually push the medium forward whether it be storytelling, graphical fidelity, audio, animation or just the general polish of every release. Big kudos to them!
I just don't think that as many people had the same "mind blown" experience playing this game compared with The Witcher 3. I don't think it will live as long in the memory, and it wasn't my game of the year.
I mean, you can only win Game of the Year in the year that your game is released, right... but if this and The Witcher 3 had come out in the same year, I'd just be interested to see the outcome there.
@LordSteev I think we're talking past each other, I though you were talking about Tlou2 (cause this article is about Tlou2) when you said that it is the best game you've played in the last 1 1/2 year and therefore I said that I haven't even played that game and was obviously talking about Tlou2 cause I said I don't like zombie games and haven't even played the first one. I wonder why you thought that I was talking about Cyberpunk considering that this game doesn't have zombies in it and doesn't have a prequel.
That being said, I did in fact play Cyberpunk (about 90h) and can say that this game isn't something special. Yes I did like the side characters (like Panam, Judy, River etc) and their quests but the rest of the game was sadly just meh.
@frabbit ha, some people on here will never forget Part II!
That's a ridiculous argument by the way. It's not as if there were no other good games released last year.
@mariomaster96
OK, cool. If you played 90 hours, I feel like you got your money's worth out of it. You didn't think it was special, I did. I'm just getting tired of comments after every article, no matter what game it's about, bashing Cyberpunk. That's what I meant by get over it, and I don't mean just you, but everyone else who can't seem to get it out of their system.
I'm not suprised such divisive game can get this many award, this is made for modern game journalist. I'm interested in the sales though, will this game sell more than the first game, I don't think it will.
This game is like the last jedi, if people like the first game/movie, there's high probability that same people will hate the second one, but if people didn't like the first game/movie they probably like the second one. I actually really like the first tlou, so I really didn't like the second one.
The witcher 3 is a better game than tlou 2, people love the witcher 3 and the game is an evergreen title, it's still selling now.
@LordSteev Yeah I did get my money out of it but I was hoping for the game to be like TW3 or better but that was not the case
But the main point why I made this comment was that the game got over 200 awards before it even launched yet than the game was in a very bad state on last gen consoles. I mean just imagine if someone clueless sees the game in a shop, sees that it has won over 200 awards, decides to get the game for his PS4 and than has to find out that the game, which has won so many awards doesn't even run properly on his console
2020! The best year ever
TLOU 2 is nowhere in the same class of game as the Witcher 3 is. The Witcher 3 has superior gameplay, story, character development, exploration, etc. than TLOU2. The only thing TLOU 2 excels at is production values and accessibility features. Otherwise, it has at best an average story and repetitive and mediocre gameplay. It could 10 billion awards, it is still NOT even the best game of 2020.
@NoFaceBigFoot I believe is the exact opposite.. witcher had serious crashing problems and the main story was so so..tlou2 is untouchable in graphics and gameplay..
@mariomaster96
Not to prolong the argument, which has been fun, thank you, I'd just like to point out that I have a base PS4, have put in over 200 hours now in Cyberpunk, and it runs well enough (not great, but better with each patch) that it's absorbed me into it's world.
That's all I ever ask of any game. So if someone were not to have read anything and bought it in store based on the pre-release awards, who's to say they wouldn't enjoy it just as much as I have?
And yes, we were totally talking past each other. Mutual misunderstanding. Thank you again for the lively debate!
@NoFaceBigFoot wah, wah wah.
It's soooo unfair.
😝
Joel gets his comeuppance. Deal with it.
@LordSteev "Thank you again for the lively debate!"
You're welcome, it's nice to have an argument online without insulting each other.
@mariomaster96
On THAT, we can agree. 😉
Witcher would've won if Ciri had abs.
Both great games that I've enjoyed, both have their flaws, one of which is story pacing! TLOU2 is too long for what it is and witcher 3 has people shouting at me to go save Ciri now, even though we all now im going to bugger about and build witcher armour. Anyway ill see my way out before this comments section inevitably ends up in flames.
@mariomaster96 but it didn't get awards. Those were just expectations and my it didn't meet them. I even said it was between ghost, tlou and c2077 for goty
. Funny thing is. None of the 3 were even close to being my goty.
@Octane Ha! I like both games a lot but this gave me a good laugh. Thank you
@Col_McCafferty It's not an argument, just thought it relevant since the article is specifically about The Last of Us 2 overtaking Witcher 3 as the most awarded game ever.
Anyway, they're both great games, but my point is that TLOU2 isn't my favourite game that came out last year, and if The Witcher 3 had come out last year then TLOU2 would be down one more place on that list.
@kyleforrester87 Dry your eyes mate 😪😪 come on dude its a damm video game and is subjective to many. I personally liked it, is it my personal GOTY nope that would go to Hades. But I don't cry and make stupid outlandish comments.
Well deserved, amazing game... the haters can go... you know what.😏
@AFCC I feel the same. Changing to abby and making a 9-10 hour cliffhanger was bad move for me.
@LordSteev Glad your enjoying it dude. Let us know when it's worth picking up again.
@Col_McCafferty rdr2?
@Max2574 It's the worst game of the generation mate. Closely followed by Red Dead Redemption 2.
@wiiware high probability? I disagree. Both tlou are must buys.
@AFCC That wouldn't of worked imo. The whole point was seeing the two diffrent perspectives to make you see Abbey as the victim. Some people love they took risks others wanted a more safe story where Joel and Ellie live happy ever after. They took a risk its definitely the Marmite game of 2020 lol.
@mariomaster96 but it didn't win 200 awards. It has like 22 or something (over doom, a much much better received fps and the best remake ever made after re2, ff7).
@Max2574
You have to know my answer to that would be you should have never let her go, lol
@mariomaster96 cyberpunk is a Ludicolo and Doom Eternal is a crobat and somehow Ludicolo is winning.
@kyleforrester87 Mate now RDR2 I agree that game was boring to the point of insanity. But TLOU2 imo opinion was good but not great. And on a technical point of view it is unmatched.
@NoFaceBigFoot mediocre gameplay? It's arguably the best for a third person shooter.
@kyleforrester87
Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain is THE WORST Game Ever
@LordSteev Promise when its fixed and I know it will be i will get it again mate. Hope they go balls to the wall for the PS5 version.
@Max2574 rdr2 is as technical as tlou 2 is.
Now cyberpunk... Well...
@Max2574 Me too, the bttw part for ps5. I like it enough that once it's on 5 and I can even FIND a 5, I'll play it again and it will be like a whole new game. A before and after photo, sort of.
@Max2574 I dont really know, I havn't played it, I'm just seeing who I can wind up.
@Gaming365247 Never heard of it.
@Gaming365247 at least metal gear 5 gets nominated.
TLoU2 had solid gameplay, great graphics, details, and sound but it was my most disliked game of 2020.
Bare minimum, I wish it just had a hoard mode so I would want to play again as I have NO desire to experience it’s SP ever again.
Factions was one of my favorite multiplayers ever but if they try to get me to repurchase the TLoU2 to be able to play the new version they can kiss my ass.
not Tetris then?
@JapaneseSonic or is it?
🤔
@TheFrenchiestFry The audience is exactly who gave it GOTY in 90+ of these. It didn't win this many GOTY awards from just media outlets.
I love the salt in this comment section. Especially from those who don't know how to read and think that all 261 of the awards were given by "woke" media outlets. Players voted the game as the GOTY in more than 90 of these awards. No other game in 2020 came close to that. Suffice to say that gamers recognize TLOU2 as the best game of the year.
@kyleforrester87 Haha fair enough dude.
Oh man, this was rigged! It was Twitter/4chan/Russian bots 100 percent!
I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that Naughty Dog’s desire to pursue narratives that put women, members of the lgbtq community and diverse people of colour at the forefront is less about being ‘woke’ and more about tapping into an under explored breadth of characters to keep their storytelling interesting.
I’m a middle aged white guy and won’t be made to feel ashamed of that, but I see no problem whatsoever with legitimate diversity in my media and Naughty Dog should be applauded for exploring these valuable perspectives.
Abby is a far more realistic representation of a woman than 80% of the male action video game icons of the last 30 years are for men, in both physicality and psyche.
And then there's the small minority of weirdos like me who don't care for either of these games XD
@Shadow_Beast
1. Players also loved it. I see it every day on twitter bad whole bunch of likes to back it up. Also. User voted awards.
2. So a lot of people who didn't play the game and have envy carried from tlou being goat to tlou2? Neil going gold video had 100k dislikes before anybody beating the game.
3. Same thing happened with gow, u4, horizon, etc... They don't mention anything until some milestone is reached (guessing is 10m).
Now. I bet you were one of the ones that disliked the videos? Would like to see your psn id to confirm you beat it. You know what you are doing and it's sad how you justify your points.
Oh come on! I loved both games so I can't even be edgy and complain for no reason! How can I even feel like a special snowflake if I can't even say something stupid about this?
@Max2574 they should make you care about Abby first, slowly revealing the people hunting her crew is Ellie and friends. Then you make us hate Abby in the Joel scene. Then make us all confused if we want to side with Ellie or Abby.
I wanted Ellie to kill Abby at the end unfortunately.
I've tried many times and just can't get into The Witcher. Last of Us 2 I've completed 3 times and stopped on my 4th to wait for the PS5 upgrades.
I will give Witcher 3 another go, especially now on PS5 it may improve performance and load times, but I haven't yet seen why it was regarded so highly. My loss though
@Zombie9ers Unlucky, I picked this up on Reddit!
The reaction doesn't really reflect it. Compared to Ghost of Tsushima, RDR2, GoW, Persona 5, Uncharted 2, Skyrim, Witcher 3, etc it hasn't been talked about as much or gotten as much general talk of just being an "amazing game." It's kinda drifted off a bit, being somewhat more forgotten than other games. Heck, people still talk more about the first LoU. Was the outrage too much? Yes. Was it also over-hyped and not quite what it was made out to be? Yes.
Both are overrated as hell but The Witcher is the far better game
@Shadow_Beast Quit telling lies. The Last of Us Part 2 has won 90+ GOTY awards that players voted on. It wasn't just media outlets. For the record that's more player voted awards for TLOU2 than Witcher 3 had and guess what? It isn't done adding awards yet. There are still more to come over the next 3 months. Sorry you don't like the game but players have made their voice heard
@LuckSource and you’re an ass. There, we’ve both been labeled and can go our separate ways.
@LiterallyDoNotCare Most game stores in my country just got new stock of the first tlou, ghost and ff7, ghost and ff7 still have full price, nearly nobody stock tlou 2 anymore. Beside the launch, this game bombed.
@StonyKL - To be fair, The Witcher III is getting somewhat dated nowadays, as open-world games learn and iterate from it. But at the time, it was one of the most impressive games around; an open-world game with the depth of a traditional RPG, with relatively realistic, grounded and well-written characters, a cinematic story, good score and graphics, and decent combat. To put simply, it seemed like it had it all, and because it put it's characters at the centre of it all, it struck a cord with awards groups (not unlike how TLoU is doing now).
On top of that, it's competition, iirc, was mostly limited to Bloodborne and MGS V, meaning it had a fairly easy time convincing people it was deserving of the top honours (whereas if it had been released a couple of years ago or later, it prob would've had a much harder time of it).
"Are you surprised to see The Last of Us: Part II secure the top spot?"
At this point, not really. The game is an absolute awards magnet, just like the first one was, so it's no real surprise to hear it's the new number one. Do I think it deserves it? Not...really? Don't get me wrong, it's a decent game, but much like the original FFVII, I don't know if it's quite the masterpiece people have been calling it. And with the quality of the competition it had this year (A game changing VR title in Alyx, an indie masterpiece in Hades, a surprisingly beautiful cinematic epic in Ghost of Tsushima, and a surprisingly good re-imagining of a classic in Final Fantasy VII Remake) I feel it should've had a much harder time than it eventually ended up having (unlike The Witcher 3, which, afaik, only had half as much competition).
@AFCC See so it worked but your connection to Ellie was still strong enough you wanted Abbey dead. Even after knowing wat Joel did and wat Ellie became. Imo it worked best how they did it. Your way so Joel dies then you basically play as Abby until half way then switch to Ellie or would you prefer back and forth between the characters like GTA. No matter what they did the main reason its divisive is that Joel dies. So no matter what order they did the Ellie/Abby switching it all stems if you agree if Joel deserved to die and that will be the main factor on siding with Ellie or Abby and if you like the game or not.
@Jimmer-jammer Excellent comment and point well made. 👍👍
Just saying, if all the haters of tlou2 wouldn't have been so outspokenly toxic the game wouldn't have received the amount of solidarity within business.
In my mind the Witcher 3 still remains to be beaten, but the last of us 2 had a fantastic story, even if the story didn't go the way fanboys imagined.
I don't know if I can comment on this because I might get insulted by projecting fanatics calling opinions they dont like toxic or bigot.
Anyway the wind blows 🙋♂️
Peace.
@Max2574 I would say it would be better to play as Abby and then have a flashback of her with Joel...I dunno, I know it could be better though!
@wiiware one country.
since it's above ghost, it should be around 6-7m by now. That's not bombing
@LiterallyDoNotCare Not really, asia isn't one country, and japan plus singapore didn't like tlou 2 too, I guess we'll see what the sales are after 1 year compared to the first game. If the game is selling I'm sure sony will says the number. I means bombing compared to first game, 4M is a good number for normal AAA games, but it's a bad number for one of the best selling ps3/ps4 games.
@wiiware tlou 1 20m sales were after a whole bunch of years. 20m was reached last year for the 1st game. Ghost and Tlou 2 are also going to get bought more when those ps5 upgrades appear. If there's a bundle with factions 2, even more.
Whatever narrative you want to build, game is doing more than well in all areas. All of them. It's my top 5 game of the year, so I'm not a fanboy to it, but people are just a bunch of tryhards tying to make tlou 2 look bad. It's kind of sad how many try to be negative about something.
I need to take a break from social media. I barely have any tolerance when people like you just want to be negative about things.
@kyleforrester87 Damn bro, you're freaking hilarious. A comedy GENIUS if I will
@get2sammyb Not by a long shot, but whatever
@mariomaster96.... You also pointed out how Salty you are..... Now we know
@frabbit...... If TW3 and TLOUII were to release at the same time then you would be crying yourself to sleep everday. TLOU2 would wipe the floor with TW3 every time.
If TW3 released in 2019 it would not seem and feel ground breaking, if TLOU2 released in 2015 it would be regarded as even more mind blowing and jaw dropping than it is now.
So just be glad that TW3 released in 2015 otherwise CDPR would still be a relatively lesser know TIER3/Tier 2 A to AA developer.
If I'm being honest, I don't think it deserves all the praise. Nor does it deserve the hate. The game was solid, at best.
It was just too preachy with "killing is bad. Violence is evil." Yet throwing all these upgrades and crafting to literally have you kill dozens of people in ridiculously fun video game way. I don't mind the approach to open up conversations like this within the media but it has to be done right. MGS 3 and Deus Ex are examples of this. Because, yes, they bring up the notion of killing and using our new found technology to kill, but within the gameplay you are given the CHOICE of your actions. I could play Deus Ex without killing anyone, or I could kill everyone I see. The choice is mine. And the moral notion of murder is always present in your mind because of this. In TLoU2 I don't have a choice most of the time. Sure, you can stealth some areas, but you can't force me to kill all these people and be like "you monster! Bloodlust is wrong!" when you didn't give me a choice in the matter.
Anyway, just my two cents that no one asked for.
@LordSteev...... I would like to know if anyone can help me. Is there something wrong with first gen PS4 Pro? I mean how can there be people playing CP2077 on the base Ps4. MY PS4 Pro overheats when playing Pes 2020. Is there something wrong that I don't know off with these first gen batch PS4 Pro? I bought this thing mid year 2018, surely it should not be overheating within 2years of its 7year life cycle.
@R1spam..... Throws a case of cold beer to Mr R1spam as he walks out of the room.... You sir derseve it for this comment.........
@R1spam..... Another thing is in TW3 I know I am supposed to be busy looking for Ciri and Yeniifer but the honey truth is that all I want do is play Gwent all...... Haha haha
@Jimmer-jammer......... I am black guy in his early 30s and you have a very great point that I would like this comments sections to further have debate on. It think that's what the furore regarding the game comes from, Naughty 🦮 decided to completely cut the fantasy with regards to how protagonists have prominently been white male macho/bad/James bond or Rambo wanna bee's and women have been mostly just been portrayed as barbie doll eye candy.
So Naughty🦮 shattered that viewpoit /perspective and some people lost their undies over this.
2 of Sony's 1st party studios have already put the main protagonist of their blockbuster games in the background(Insomniac with Miles) and the other studio even completely killing one of the main protagonist(ND telling Joel get the F outs her), So just Imagine if Kratos dies in the opening act of Ragnarok, the internet will really break this time
@Shadow_Beast....... ND has Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Dexter, Uncharted and The last of Us. They have long passed the days of messing the yard stick by constantly uploading sales numbers.
CDPR have one hit and are currently one hit wonders, you can bet your house they will keep singing its praise till they have a new thing to sing about.
When you have one trophy in your locker, it will always look shiny cause it's the only thing you can polish.
When you have trophy laden room, there trophies are too many to shine them all and sometimes you are too busy winning new trophies to have time to shine them all.
Hence CDPR's constant trumpet blowing of TW3. I think it's no coincidence that prior to the launch of CP2077 they suddenly gave some attention to TW3 cause they knew of the state of CP2077.
@GREGORIAN Hey, we’re around the same age. Yeah, I just don’t understand what the problem is. I look forward to the day when having a black or gay or female or indigenous...protagonist stops being a news story because of its mere existence and is simply accepted as a normal and unique point of view, because it is. All perspectives are valuable.
A long way to go, but kudos to these companies for working to expand all of our understanding of each other. Have a good one!
@StonyKL..... Trust me, you are not alone on the Witcher 3
Its an okay game but probably over regarded due to it being the game you can play if you want the Game Of Thrones experience in a game
@Jaz007...... You sound like you are on a drug overdose and got into a comma in 2018 and just woke up last week.
If there is one game being talked about in the 7 to 8.months it has been TLOU2.
You find the game being talked about even on articles and forums that have nothing to do with TLOU2, you still find the game being discussed.
Maybe it's your memory that's has been forgotten.........
Try something else to troll....
A lot of idiots in this comment section
@LiterallyDoNotCare...... The worst part is that all the heart is not really for Joel dying, people are always online but have not read that IGN lied about Amy Henning.
So the haters are hating the story because they are still hung on the false hate that was begun by IGN's lies.
Trust me, if Amy Henning was still around at Naughty Dog, nobody would be cry about Joel dying, they would be healing the game as a milestone in video game story telling.
The hate is just for poor Mr Drukmann and it's then projected as hate towards tolhe story for getting rid of Joel.
Beause if we all think about it,in Part1 Joel was really an annoying weasel prick who was initially smuggling Ellie and the only interesting thing was Ellie and her development and how she interacted with Joel and the world.
Now all of a sudden Joel is this A-list playboy super hero.
Gamers are just fickle
@J_Warrior...... What do you think about Vaas from Far Cry 3?
@LiterallyDoNotCare Tlou 1 sales is good because people buying it not only at release but the year after because the game has great word of mouth, just like ghost still at npd months after the game release. I don't think tlou 2 will be as successful as the first game, I guess we'll see the sales after 1 year eh, my prediction is there's no way the game will sell 17M like the first one.
@GREGORIAN
I'm sorry man, I don't know much about what would be causing that. Is your fan working? Maybe open it up and blow some dust out of it? Just guesswork on my part. Like I said, mine's a base ps4, so I don't know of any 4pro issues.
@GREGORIAN I can promise you there would be no crying involved at my end.
@LordSteev.... I had it cleaned about 9 months back and replaced the thermal paste, I did open it to clear dust a few weeks back, but it seems it burns through the thermal paste quite quickly, could this be a defect? Cause surely the thermal should at least last minimum a year and a half to 2 years. At this rate I will be replacing the thermal every 6 months.
Right now I so wish I could be able to buy a Ps4 but funds are tight and all that.
@GREGORIAN haha this guy gets it! Just playing witcher 2 for first time just now and I'm meant to be looking for triss but im arm wrestling dudes!
This is kinda hilarious considering that most of these awards TLOU2 received did not even exist back when Witcher 3 released. These people must truly think that the public is stupid. Also, Witcher 3 is considered one of the greatest games ever made with one of the best stories ever written, TLOU2 not so much, in fact people hate the story so much that people broke their game ssics and threw them in the trash. I rest my case. Oh and btw, when TLOU2 spawns the #1 Netflix show globally, sells 30 million copies, and is the biggest digital game launch in history (Cyberpunk) then you can make up these funny stories all you like, till then TLOU2 will never come close to Witcher 3's status.
@GREGORIAN
It sounds like somethings wrong with it. You should try going to the playstation website, see if they have someone in live chat who can help you out. Or Sony. Maybe they'd know and maybe it's a quick fix. Or at least a cheap one. Better than having to buy a whole new console, for sure.
TLOU2 surpasses The Witcher 3 as the most overhyped game in history.
There. I fixed your title.
