@Stevemalkpus I suppose at this point they're just using the branding; it could have any other name like silent nightmare or whatever but sells and media attention are much higher as it carries a classic name; also wonder if they will connect this somehow to the "silent hill" as we know, but can hardly see that happening. Let's just hope its a good horror game

@Kidfunkadelic83 same here, had so much fun with my partner playing split fiction; i think there's one called Reanimal in the same style of this one that will be couch co-op

Imagine if every developer decided to lift review embargo 1 week before release; gaming world would be much brighter

Live service games are now a risky gamble; almost everything out has consolidate itself so much that it's hard to companies to find the next big hit like Fortnite or CoD

Looks like a smash button win game where you're super OP; FF16 was cool, but i suppose mainly due to the story i really enjoyed. I will wait reviews for this one; there's a lot of games coming out end of august/september

Am i the only that haven't been watching trailers for certain games? Like in going in blind to Ghost of Yotei, Resident 9, Silent Hill F etc

I really wish CoD flops this year and BF win it over in sells and player count; so sick of that paid weapons and crazy skins in call of duty

@AhmadSumadi it's just that when you really like or love something is hard not to make comparisons to that thing that made you fall in love with it; played my first god of war when i was like 11yrs old and obviously that grew with me over the years... Very happy to see Kratos getting into another platform just a bit afraid that happens the same as it did with Ellie;

Expectations are very low; just hope the next game - whatever it comes to be - delivers

I'll be playing it tonight and when they release a patch i will comment my personal opinion; but reviews are mostly good to be fair... And Wukong also had a some technical issues at release so wouldn't be so harsh on this one

@get2sammyb How does the combat "feels"? Hopefully is not junky and have that nice feeling of hitting; take steel rising for example is just awkward

Game looks dope; im looking forward to it even more as its in early access for a while now. Usually means the game will be very polished by full release

@Dodoo there are a few bangers to come out this year still; chronos, silent hill, wuchang, that one that looks like noctis forgot the name, mafia, metal gear... there are loads of options for different tastes

Will definitely be playing day one but i wouldn't play the first game again before this; i think they're too similar. Was same with spider man 2. i didnt wanted to re play the first one before second so i dont get fed up

@Propaperpusher it was revealed last September and will be released October i think that goes with sony promise to only announce games when they're close to release.

Cant remember if was sony indeed or naughty dog who said that; however is not such a bad thing. So many games gets revealed 2 years before release date and goes without saying that that only makes people put pressure on devs

Hope so, currently around 20hrs in death stranding 2 and having a lot of fun but also miss a good linear game they dont make many of them anymore

I'm 10hours in and its a big improvement from first one; definitely not as boring much more action going on; im not big into stealth so for me was a great improvement; the brigands dont have to find me, i find them first guns out

Almost 5yrs into this generation and Naughty Dog didnt published anything

Most developers still try to cap the games graphics and performance to suit the PS4 as well. I believe while this is still happening we're far from see PS5 full capability. Graphically speaking, Death Stranding 2, Spider man 2 and even Senua Hellblade 2 are really next gen

Rockstar just sitting in a pile of money with this one i think; can't really see why they've waited so long

Graphics at the end and destruction are top tier; looking forward to see more

Can't remember of any game releasing this year that could still be a competitor; Probably KCD 2, EX33 and DS2 will fight for goty... However with DS2 we all knew more or less what we were getting so its not so much of a surprise hit as EX33.

Edit* Chronos of New dawn; Silent Hill F and Ghost of Yotei could be a surprise too

Not every action melee game needs to be a souls like; i love the difficulty in those games and got used to harder games so every time i play a game like this i select hard or harder; i remember playing spider man 2 on the highest difficulty just because is more to what im used to but obviously thats personal preference

Didnt watched the trailer or gameplay whatsoever neither will watch any trailer in future; going in blind for this one

Ill definitely be trying death stranding this weekend; have to make sure i stay off spoilers

A bit too easy for my taste but definitely enjoyed the game from start to end; played both DLC. The game didnt got boring at all. But as i said, its on the easy side.

Hope this is not one of those cases when you try to please everyone and ends up with a mediocre result ;(

This morning i tried to look up reviews for this to find none; made me remember how Santa Monica lifted review embargo for GoW 1 week before release

I played it for the first time 4 months ago because i got tired of waiting for a PS5 upgrade and they just announce this now !!! Guess ill be playing this again

Cyberpunk were one of the best experiences i had with a game; to be fair i only played it for the first time recently on PS5 after all the updates and was absolutely amazed

Doesnt make any difference tbh; we all know CD track record... The witcher 3 and Cyberpunk are amazing games, among the best i have ever played; however... Just no pre orders. Would say the game stil 2 or 3 years away
