Separate Trophy list for each game, one would hope. I never played the originals but saw the TV show (and collected the metal dics from crisp bags) so might give this collection a look.

The boys on the cover kinda being done dirty by the four Champions being on the 'Champions' edition cover. Use to be that it was an honour, now it feels like being second-best.

It shows how little care Sony puts into the store - its principal moneymaker- that these emails are still labelled as purchases even though they technically aren't and risk confusing customers. Clearly 'add to library' is just categorized as a 0,00 purchase in the backend, hence the mails being triggered automatically as they would for a priced purchase.

If I set up email notifications like these for a customer I'd be looking for a new job before long. Just set up a mail with different wording, e.g. 'PS Store redemption successful'.

No doubt Tekken 3 will be coming as part of the drip feed of 'new' old games over the coming months and years. It'd be a much more hyped inclusion in an announcement than Tekken 2 and generate bigger headlines as part of a mid-month update.

And yet I'm struggling to find something I'm really keen on playing. Oh well, Syphon Filter it is!

It's bizarre that Playstation's back catalogue of historical titles is one of their biggest advantages over the XBox family of consoles, yet Sony completely and utterly neglects these time and again.

The inFamous titles hold up to this day. Re-releasing them in whatever shape or form would be a slam-dunk. But here we are, reading an article like this. And the original Last of Us is getting a full-blown update. Bizarre.

EDIT; back when Playstation still had more Japanese influence on its leadership, retro collections were trotted out for the PS3 and Vita en masse. Again, a slam dunk in that these were quality games that could be updated at relatively little cost and would massively expand a platform's library. PS5-exclusive retro collections (e.g. all three Jak games, all Ratchet games, Sly collection, Killzone trilogy with online stripped out) would give PS5 owners more games to spend money on. But nope, half-assed streaming it is.

Servers deserted within three months, PS Plus monthly game within 18, plug pulled in 2026 give or take.

Premium-chad reporting in, nothing like stacking years of Now at a discounted price to wiggle my way into the highest tier at a fraction of the cost.

Now to not play any of these quickly cobbled-together ROMs for the entirety of the five year subscription I've bought.

I'd call it a long term loan more than anything else, considering the annual sports games are usually jettisoned from the service and delisted from online stores after about two years. Wasn't Madden 20 taken down just the other day?

@Resi32 From what we've seen of Trophy-supported PS1 games, the Trophy lists are very straightforward and essentially only ask you to beat the game. This may well end up being just an 'uncommon' Platinum.

Two big system sellers, now available across pretty much every platform. Good for gamers in general but I do wonder whether Sony shouldn't have kept these exclusive as best they could. Might have been an uphill battle.

PS Plus inclusion as the inevitable monthly dead multiplayer game when? You know it's coming.

Just close shop already, Mafia III was putrid garbage and nigh unplayable at launch with issues persisting to this day. The remake didn't do the original justice, and every other project of this studio that had details leaked sounded just as bad.

The Mafia series should have stayed with Vávra and the original developers.

Do I want them to buy SEGA to make sure Microsoft doesn't make Yakuza exclusive, or do I want them to stay away from SEGA so they don't ruin the company (any further than SEGA has ruined itself)? Decisions, decisions.

They were never going to be perfect. Given the state of Sony, we should be grateful these are playable at all.

Feel bad for everyone who got suckered into buying this. Then again, what did you expect of an EA game?

Shame. They are mandated for every game on PS3/4/5/V post-2007 and the technology to add them to old games is clearly available, so why not extend the mandate to PS1/2PSP re-releases as well?

Hopefully the majority of Plus partners will make use of the option even without Sony forcing them.

Oh, I actually left it on my hard-drive from one of the last free weekends. Might invest a few minutes again. It plays okay but then it's also my first (and only) COD game ever.

Think I'll stick to white. Never did mind it before the PS5 came out, and have really grown to like it. Besides, if I got one of these new plates my 'regular' Dualsense'd look out of place.

Haven't played one since F1 2011 on Vita (did Plat that one as well as F1 2010 on PS3), don't think this'll change any time soon with EA getting involved.

Going to wrap up the PS4 re-release of Star Wars Bounty Hunter tonight, having unlocked its rarest Trophy (sub 1 percent on PSNP!) yesterday already.

I see EA are trying to lure more unfortunate souls into their diabolical money-making machine. Don't be fooled, everyone! Like a dealer offering a taster hoping to get you hooked.

Glad to be getting a new map but I prefer Hitman locations to be glamourous - bit like Dubai, Paris, Miami. The new one looks like Colorado 2: Nighttime Boogaloo but as always I'm willing to give it a chance.

Madia III was garbage and the remake didn't do the original justice. Definitive port of II was broken on release. Please leave the series alone, absolutely zero faith in Hangar 13 even with Blackman off the project.
