Syphon Filter (the first which launched alongside PS Plus Premium) had a decent list with a few missable Trophies and even a collectible (one kill with each gun).

It's a massive disappointment that they couldn't be bothered for 2 and 3 and went with such lazy lists. Clearly the technology is available, make use of it.

Never thought I'd play SW Demolition again but here I am.... blast from the past. And I'm only marginally better than I was as an 8 year old....

Worth a download for the sheer novelty of it if you've never played it back in the day. You'll be grateful for how far gaming has come. No excuse for it not to have Trophies though....

Madden games are shockingly poor and the series would have either been a lot better - or dead and buried - had EA not strong-armed 2K and their superior series out of the market by convincing the NFL to sign an exclusivity deal.

Ideally, each game will have a separate Trophy list. If it's shared, then gosh, that's a loooooooooooong Platinum.

Can we please get a reasonable minimum advanced warning period in place that's fairer than < two weeks? Imagine this was for some sprawling RPG, you'd never have the time.

Meanwhile, Nintendo keeps its games locked to its own console and is swimming in a gorillion Dollars.

Glad I got the online Trophies done for AssCreed Brotherhood and Revelations in 2020. Such poor, poor games - they were bizarrely overrated back in the day already and re-visiting them a decade down the line was painful to say the least.

Very little for me in there, Metro Exodus Expansion Pass is the only thing I'm considering. PS Plus Premium has got me spoilt for games to play.

@DETfaninATL Retribution was rated for release alongside Syphon Filter long before the new tiers were revealed, it's all but guaranteed to be coming.

I don't think any of the first party titles were added without Trophy support, so reckon we'll both be playing it on release day in one of the coming months.

On PS Plus Essential within 18 months, servers shut within 36 if I had to guess.

Tie trophy value to rarity, which PSN already tracks. Watch as the people who invested hundreds of smackers into games like this melt down.

Here's hoping for native PS5 versions of older games like 0, localizations of Black Panther, Kenzan!, and Ishin!, Like a Dragon 2, and more, more, more.

But watch it be only LAD2, a bunch of useless merch or mobile game *****, and nothing else. Nonetheless, highlight of the year for me, nothing beats a game made by RGG Studio.

I download 2K22 for a laugh via Plus, and good lord was I overwhelmed being dumped into that city. Would be nicer if the devs arranged for a softer landing via a more guided intro into this part of the game.

See, this is why I've never shared my profile with anyone at work; they'll see the gargantuan amount of Trophies I've unlocked during working hours - often even during video calls where I was supposedly paying attention. Can't have that.

I had to sit through the Ezio trilogy and Black Flag because my younger brother stuck them on my profile without getting the Plat/100%, and I absolutely cannot understand why people like this series (outside of Odyssey and Valhallah, which I haven't played). Trite, uninspired open worlds, and that's by PS3 - not PS5 - standards.

Very cool, but not for me. Still have yet to play this game, never understood the hype.

I've been around since the PS1 era and have had zero interest in playing either TLOU game since the first released on the PS3. Just not my bag. Even on Plus I'd be extremely unlikely to ever try it.

Expecting the first one to come into the PS Plus fold soon then.

There is a real possibility that Adolf Hitler was familiar with Big Chungus as the episode debuted before the end of the war and Hitler was known to enjoy American animation.

If you've ever compared the region-specific lists of games over the years on PSNProfiles you'll see the same; the American stack almost always has a lower average rarity than the European one. The Japanese one however tends to be highest because of hunters who import it for the extra stack, making a bigger difference against Japan's smaller population.

Only game I can think of that has an American stack that's less rare than the European one is Persona 4 Golden on the Vita.

Thirteen games bought in the past 365 years; ten physical, three digital. Most expensive game was Judgment [PS5] at 35 GBP or whatever I paid for it from Argos.

That's in addition to 18 games played that I pulled off Plus (old Plus, Extra Plus, Premium Plus).

@huyi looks likeRGG Studio confirmed on Twitter that the remasters will be on Extra too. Poor communication, honestly.

@TheCollector316 only Kiwami 1 was on Plus previously. The original PS3 versions of 4 and 5 were too, but this time it's the remasters which are different SKUs.

On a separate note, why is Push Square using the Chinese cover for the article header? Pretty rare to see that one.

I bought it on release to support the franchise (remember the wait for Yakuza 5? I remember), but never played it. It being a Plus Essential game will give it a much-needed decrease in Trophy rarity. Super excited to have more people try the franchise too - full announcement of the sequel really must be imminent now.

What's up with the bizarre comments in this thread? Little changed over the centuries, except we as individuals have outsourced our share of animal suffering through supermarkets and their suppliers.

This game and others of its ilk are a bunch of pixels. If it keeps actual hunters off the streets/out of the woods for a little, you lot should be applauding instead of trying to apply morals to a video game you won't be playing anyway.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the original as a monthly Essential game in the run up to release then. Same angle as Man of Medan took this month to hype the next title in that series.

Come now, it'll be the same sh*te with marginal improvements as we've seen for ages. It'll STILL get beaten by NFL 2K5 in terms of depth. Just hoping the Trophies won't be glitched this time.

This will please the weirdoes unhappy about last year's cover I guess. Not big on the art direction on this one but at least it's better than Maddens 21 and 22.
