PlayStation Plus may primarily be about the monthly game giveaways and online gaming, but the discounts are also decent all year round, and through 30th September members will be able to save big on a bunch of behemoth titles – including Red Dead Redemption 2. While everyone will unlock up to 35 per cent off, subscribers can score savings of up to 75 per cent, meaning you can grab titles like Knack 2 for as little as $5.99/£8.99. Go on, you know you want to!
To be fair, this isn’t the biggest or best PS Store sale that we’ve ever seen, but if you’ve been holding out on a blockbuster game, like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, then you may be able to make some meaningful savings out of this. There’s no PlayStation Blog post as of yet, so we’ll simply direct you to the UK PS Store and US PS Store for all of the deals. Do check back and let us know if anything catches your eye, though.

Man I just can't use that linked to website. What font is that? Arial? Times New Roman? It's atrocious.
Curious if Sony announces today that PS5 won't need PS+ for online?
@rjejr Someone get this man some comic sans action
They look good enough, but how do I know they won’t be free next month for PS Plus subscribers?
Wonder why Knack 2 is more expensive in the UK. £8.99 is roughly $11.69 but it's priced at $5.99. So almost double the price on the UK store.
Ah yes, knack 2. The magnum opus of video games.
So, $5.99 = £8.99 how?
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Californian here, I'm never charged tax on the PS store (which is weird considering the state's 9.5% sales tax) but apparently some other states do. Doesn't often sit well with those folks.
Sorry if it’s a stupid question but if I bought a game with a ps plus discount and then Didn’t have ps plus in the future would I still be able to play the game without ps plus?
@CptH0vvDy Texan here. At one time PSN didn't collect sales tax here either but then some recent law put an end to that unfortunately. Actually it's been a couple years now. I thought the law (or laws) were based off some Supreme Court decision and thus impacted every state but I'm probably misinformed.
I just bought RDRII a couple days ago and if it's cheaper now, well, then that kinda sucks.
@cschene you own the game whether your ps+ is still active or not.
@Pac_Bot awesome thanks so just not when it’s a ps plus free game?
I highly recommend Nex Machina at £3.19. the game is so fun and look beautiful. Definitely a Housemarque game worth playing.
Just in time for the big knack 3 reveal tonight
@cschene these are different from the monthly ps+ games that you do need an active subscription to use, I see these sales as a nice bonus that isn't really thought of when you talk about ps+.
@cschene if you buy it, it's yours. The discount is different than if you redeem it for "free"
@Kefka2589 I really don't know what all the fuss was about or why it got so much hate.My PS4 came with Knack and I had a great time with it,although it's very slow at the beginning.I bought the sequel last year in a sale and played and finished it 2 weeks ago and honestly the sequel is one of the best action/Adventure games I've played in a while!I highly recommend it!
By the way the Platinum for the first game is extremely hard but the sequel has a very good and easyish Plat.
Shoulda been called the Crappy Redundant DLC Sale lol
Edit: wow mr negative over here lol. Happy for those who find something
£27 for No Man's Sky? I thought this was supposed to be a sale! I swear I've seen that for like £10 in the past
They really need to do better sales. The basic discount for RDR2 leaves it still £10 more expensive than a new physical copy. Add the PS+ discount and it's now £7 cheaper than that brand new physical copy - so you need to pay a subscription to actually make it cheaper than a disc version. A disc version you actually own, and can lend or sell.
