Would they still be bigger? Maybe. The thing is though unless your Nintendo 3rd party is the lifeblood of a console. Exclusives are the cherry on top.

COD sells 20million+ pretty much every year. You make that exclusive, some people will be forced to jump.

I do believe the deal should go through. MS made an offer- Activision accepted. The way Phil Spencer & co have been misleading people has been anything but professional.

Yes or No to COD’s eventual exclusivity. It’s that easy.

I’ve always been of the mindset of quality over quantity.
I’m currently playing FF7:R through PS+.
Game pass hasn’t been appealing enough for me to jump in. Their 1st party doesn’t do it for me.

In all honesty 9ft 6 is such a ridiculous height that it’s hard to imagine. A few inches off isn’t going to make any difference 😅.
Andre the Giant was 7ft 4 & that was unbelievable.

Not seen much of the tuning & customisation yet. That’s really the funnest part. Don’t stick it behind mtx.

Haven’t got an issue with this Troy & Ashley are part of the cast. They can help out if needed, but most importantly you’ve got Neil Druckmann overseeing this. No worries there.

If you wanted it to be exactly like the games, then well play the games. They’re as cinematic as it gets anyways.

My only issue is Bella actually playing Ellie. She’s 19 now. That’s pretty much Ellie’s age in Part 2.
No problem with Pedro he’s the perfect fit.

Will definitely pick up P3 at launch. My wallet though. Seems like I’m picking up a new release every month until at least January.

Pre-production for a new IP usually takes a couple of years iirc.
Give the rest of the team something to do for which they already have the blueprint for😉.

It’s cool that the 1st party studios help each other out. Must cut down on dev time significantly.

Also could Bluepoint be working on a Bloodborne remake? Would explain why it hasn’t got a 60fps patch yet.
The game is over 7 years old. Crazier things have happened 🤷‍♂️.

@UltimateOtaku91 I doubt it. Don’t think even the devs would expect you to. The anime & manga are over 1000 chapters/episodes long & they still have like 1/3 of the story left to tell.

Also this has its own original story so all you might need is to have a read of a character synopsis for the straw hats if it’s not in game. Also the flash back missions would probably introduce you to the characters anyways.

Looks promising. Reminds me of Underground a little bit.

@get2sammyb I’m sure they will, but there’s still going to be lots of people that come next Xmas see a hypothetical ‘FIFA2K24’ & pick that up instead.
Naming will be crucial for EA but I can absolutely see them call it EA SPORTS SOCCER24.

@Member_the_game I used to buy PES & FIFA every year once they were about 50% off. PES was for myself, FIFA for visitors.
Now there’s really no choice (efootball can get in the 🗑).

I don’t think EA realises just how much weight the FIFA name carries.
I’d love it if they got with Take-Two & the next FIFA game was called FIFA 2K24. There’d be so much confusion.

Now that PES is essentially dead it’s time for some new competition.

I get having games being uniform across entries as we’re starting to hit the level where graphical increases are starting to have diminishing returns, but if this is anything more than £40 at launch Sony are crazy.

I do get where they are coming from.

It’s like priority seating at the airport. You pay a bit more & it’s straight to the front of the queue.
Here those that invest more in the ecosystem get moved straight up.

I mean they may have made a few hires specifically for ‘priority’ members & we don’t know that.

First come, first serve should always be the go to, but this sort of practice has been around for a while.

That’s pretty good tbh. Less than 3 matches to unlock another character. Also most players will probably just find 2-3 characters they like & try them out a bunch & then move on or stick with them. Not much of a grind really.

I imagine the PSN credits will be minimal.
I had GAME Elite for like £36/year & that was actually worth it. Full priced game that was pre-ordered got me just over 1/10th back. Now this didn’t include the vouchers that would get you cash off or double your points (/credits) which made it even more beneficial.
When I picked up my day 1 PSVR unit I got like £26 worth of credits.

I’ll sign up but probably won’t see much benefit from this as most of my digital purchases will be deep sale games.
As others have mentioned I hope they don’t tie this to trophies/plats.

Would not be surprised if Embracer acquires them. 550 employees is a big head count- more than most of Sony’s 1st party.

They make good games, but they aren’t big sellers. Outriders still hasn’t turned a profit I believe. Might be in trouble.

E3 doesn’t make sense. Everyone dukes it out for attention...people will remember the big reveals & the rest get buried.

It’s either a God Of War: R state of play or a showcase with the headliner being God of War. There’s definitely going to be something to hype up the masses before GOW, Black Friday & XMAS.

Supposedly the person just wants 5 figures. That’s not even pocket change for Take2, but you can’t give in to blackmail.

Unfortunately as this individual has a large chunk of the source code I imagine this game will be delayed by at least a year.

Even if they give in & buy it back there’s no guarantee that the person doesn’t have a copy. Imagine if they could somehow get into GTA Online, that would be disastrous.

Hope they find the person & sue the daylights out of them.

@Snake_V5 @Jammsbro The person doesn’t just have some early footage, but also the source code for GTA5 & 6.They are actively trying to sell it to interested parties & blackmailing RockStar specifically in regards to GTA6.
Imagine if this person has enough info to get into GTA Online- let’s see how you feel if some guy in their mothers basement steals your identity & maxes out your credit card.

@zupertramp @GreatAuk Trophies don’t have any real value. No rewards, discounts, etc. I do care about them if I like a game enough, because I would’ve seen everything a game has to offer.

IMO a good trophy list is a checklist that will allow the player to experience the most out of a game.

These games obviously sell to those that want a quick platinum.
Let people buy what they want to buy. Sure it affects visibility for other games & that’s up to Sony to fix.

These games aren’t going anywhere. Not too long PlayStation Access- the official Uk channel, did a 4hr livestream or so to see which hosts could get the most amount of platinums. The games were pre-selected but the lineup had not Mayo1 & 2 in it.

As a side note, Nier Automata actually allows you to purchase all the trophies with in game currency. Is that ok?

Is it just the one dog you stroke 2000x or do you get to pick your dog breed or does the game just swap out dogs every few hundred strokes to keep things fun?

My dog reacts to other dogs on TV, so this might be a fun experiment if the dogs make actually sounds.

Yakuza 4 Remastered. Still early in but it’s started much, much stronger than Y3.
Also really like Akiyama reminds me of Sanji from fighting style to mannerism.

I played the first game on Switch so glad I can play this on PS4 now.
Thought the first game was a bit overrated the gameplay was good & the graphics were stunning but it was a bit inconsistent in the story telling & the way the character missions were structured.

After a few hours you would know exactly what to expect. Talk to a character, use your specials for something, dungeon-> boss fight.
As for the story telling some stories are more interesting than others & that just the way it is with this many playable characters.
