Infinity Strash — not Infinity's Trash — is getting a global release. Full (and very awkward) title Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is a Dragon Quest spinoff, based on The Adventure of Dai manga, which was first published in 1989. It was later revived as an anime series in 2020.

One of the first things you might notice is that Dragon Quest's trademark Akira Toriyama character designs are missing — which will make Infinity Strash something of an anomaly when it comes to Dragon Quest games.

Anyway, we don't have a launch date yet, but at least we know that it's coming West. Square Enix is making a point of providing worldwide release dates for its games going forward, and for Dragon Quest fans, who have been forced to wait months if not years for localisations in the past, this is a promising sign of things to come. A global launch is the plan for Dragon Quest XII as well.
